"Tell me Nyx, what has happened these couple days?" I asked while Velzard clung to me viciously, not that I minded.
"If you're talking about Eden, then all I can say is that you collapsing has sent the three main worlds of Eden, Equinox, Solcarceris and Black haven into a total panic but we were able to calm everything down. If your talking about your little pet project in the forest well I can assure that that Slime has personally come to Eden everyday to ask about you." Nyx summarised way too fast, thank Veldanava for thought acceleration.
"It's a little rude for you to call him that Slime, you know that right?" I said to Nyx awkwardly.
"Firstly, he isn't someone I'm familiar with. Secondly, I am technically stronger then him in terms of both raw power and experience. Lastly, in Eden, status doesn't earn you any favours, wasn't that last rule imposed by you?" Nyx blank stared me as she made her reasons.
I scratched my head awkwardly when I felt a piercing stare at me, filled with rage. I looked in the direction that the intense malice was coming from and saw Amanises and her shadow extending outwards with dark arms coming out of her shadow.
" A-Am, do you have something to sa-AHHH!!!" Before I could finish, Amanises jumped at me and sank her teeth deep into my fucking skull. Needless to say, it was fucking painful.
" AMANISES, WHAT THE FUCK, GET. OFF. MEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" I screamed as I tried to rip her off my head without ripping my head off my head.
I finally pried her off but my head was so messed up that I might as well have let it rip off and just let it regenerate from scratch…because Hypnos seems to severely impair regeneration, 'That's good to know.'
"AMANISES, explain yourself!" Nyx berated her sister for her suddenly rebelious actions.
Amanises didn't answer but instead looked away in a rude derisive way, "I don't have to answer that.
I ripped my head off and threw it out the window, it took two seconds for my head to grow back in full, " Am. What was that?"
Amanises just dismissed me aswell but then we all felt a horrible sensation crawl up our spines. Apparently the currently emotionally-sensitive and slightly feral Velzard did not take kindly to her mate being attacked and charged up a drill made of ice, spinning at high speeds and readied to be fired at any moment at Amanises.
" ZARRY STOP!" I tried to get her to stop but my message didn't come across perfectly.
The drill fired as Amanises closed her eyes waiting for death, she heard the drill pierce through flesh, blood splattering everywhere, " Why don't I… feel anything?"
Amanises opened her eyes to her father Infront of her with a hole in his chest that was filled with a chunk of ice. The man turned around with blood coming out of his mouth, Amanises felt time slow down as the man struggled to stay standing.
"D-Dad?" Amanises shaky voice was apparent as he knelt down as held his held his hand down over her head and began patting it.
Despite his face looking aggrieved and pale from still not recovering from before, he still smiled.
"DAD!" Nyx screamed when she saw what had happened. Velzard, who had finally come to her senses, ran out of there as fast as possible, "MOM!?"
"Nyx don't, leave her be for now."

Nyx had set Simon down back in bed to rest, my regeneration factor, endurance and tolerance might be exceptional but an attack from a true dragon isn't something anyone could shrug off, especially when you're still recovering.
Nyx was now sitting down with Amanises, "So you were just mad at Dad for being reckless?"
Amanises nodded her head sheepishly while in her human form.
"Then can you do me a favour then?" Nyx asked calmly which Amanises perked her head up for, "Please stay by dads side for now."
Amanises looked shocked at the level of trust that her sister was putting in her, especially since she had just attacked the person that she was being asked to comfort.
"You might think I'm crazy for putting my faith in you and you're probably right but I'm not saying this for me, I'm saying this for him. Dad is weak and in pain and as much as he tries to pass it by us, Dad is extremely scared, scared about the future. I don't want you to protect or comfort him, I simply want you to stay by his side." Nyx said, her voice shaky.
Amanises and Nyx were never truly close, but not because they didn't get along, they just never had a common interest. Amanises was always happy to spend time with her and listen to her.
And to this day, she always hated herself for never being able to gain that courage to push forward, a courage that Nyx used to finally help her father, a courage that she was too weak to ever amass.
But now, that big and strong sister of hers had placed her courage in her, despite attacking their father she still decided to place her trust in her. Amanises would not let her down.
"Am? Are you ok?" Nyx had noticed the tears welling up in Amanises eyes
The moment her words were conveyed, Amanises wiped her tears away and jumped onto the bed at Simon's side, "You can count on me Sis!" Nyx smiled at this overly dramatic display and decided to leave the room.

Nyx was walking down the corridor with Dino trailing behind, "Where is she?"
Dino had already understood the question, "She's on his throne, she hasn't left there since."
"Stand guard by his room, if he wakes up and walk out, force him back to bed by any means necessary… evens killing him." Dino was hesitant but complied anyway as she made her way to the throne.
Nyx had found herself infront of the throne where she saw a dragon curled up on the throne. Whenever she looked her way, she would shy her eyes back downwards, "Are you ok, Mom?"
