After Nyx had sent Velzard and Ramiris off, she had returned back to the clocktower to further her research efforts. She was currently attempting to give mindless creatures an ego.
This wasn't hard for Nyx with her ultimate skill but she was trying to do this in a skill and energy efficient method so that it can be used by the masses.
This might not feel like a big deal but being able to tame monsters would increase the labor force in human settlement by spreading labor among tamed monsters. This would also give access to intrinsic skills to humans that they don't have such as steel thread from the black spider that would help with creating much stronger clothes.
She looked to the side where Amanises was laying in the corner of the room lounging around. Amanises didn't originally have a role in the development of Eden so Dad gave her the role of instructor.
Any forces in Eden, whether it be the dragons or angels. I was skeptical of Dad's decision but he just smiled when I voiced my opposition.
Surprisingly, despite Amanises's Brutish style of fighting, she was quite the stern and effective and diligent instructor, a role given by day made her take it very seriously.
At the moment though Amanises was lazying around in her lab, "Is there a reason that you're here?"
"What! Can't I just lay here for alittle! You never want to spend time with me any more."
Amanises outrage shook Nyx for a second and the next she chuckled, "No Amanises, I enjoy your company. I was just surprised because you've been busy these past couple days. Stay as long as you want."
Nyx walked and crouched before her and began rubbing her soft fur vigorously. Amanises had reciprocated the action by nuzzling into her hands and face.
Nyx had spent the evening leisurely doing her experiments with her sister there by her side when she felt a ripple in the gray fog, "It seems that Dad and Yuura are back from the Daemon realm."
" Yeah I felt it too."

Both of them spatial motioned to his location where they found him already deeply focused on constructing something new.
'It's been like a minute since you got back! How the hell are you already this invested?!' Both of their thoughts echoed the same thought.
Yuura was intently watching him which meant that this was a very interesting new interest.
Nyx felt compelled to found out what was happening, "Yuura what is dad doing?"
"Oh Master said he made a breakthrough in his soul destruction experiment that gives the intended outcome that he wants and this will allow me to awaken to True demon lord level."
Both Nyx and Amanises were surprised by this statement, "Dad, would you mind explaining yourself?"
I didn't look up from the tinkering, "5 out my 8 surbordinates are divine beings, I'm simply trying to find a way to awaken you guys into demon lords to increase the power of Eden."
"So that's what this machine was for?"
"Yes. This entire time I've been doing it wrong. I've always wondered what I needed to do to prevent Oblivion from completely destroying the soul, but it was simple, all I had to do was weaken Oblivion. Now the soul will be stripped of it structure and transformed into pure energy."

In under an hour, Simon had come out of his room with a large capsule containing the pure energy from 1 million souls.
"Was one million souls really necessary?" Nyx who was very sensitive to the soul could sense the amount of souls that the energy was comprised of.
"For an artificial harvest festival, you only need one hundred thousand but I decided to go 10 times as much to, 1 increase the power of the individual through out their awakening, 2 I like to over compensate and 3 I like to flex how rich I am in souls."
" Ow, I would like to awaken first father!" Amanises had come forward as the first recipient, she was always a willing test subject to please father… that's sounds wrong.
" Fortune favours the bold Amanises."
I began strapping energy injectors onto Amanises body and then pressed a button on the capsule.
The energy within the capsule instantly disappeared and Amanises felt a sharp pain course through her body and then the pain disappeared as fast it came, now Amanises was staggering as she became enveloped in drowsiness.
I caught the already sleeping wolf and sat down on her floor so that she could lay in my lap. While she received new abilities from the world, me, Nyx and Yuura used either thought domination or spiritual domination to listen into the notifications that Nyx was getting from words of the world.

As Amanises woke up, she saw that everyone had surrounded her unconscious form, "Um, is everything ok?"
"Absolutely sweetheart. It seems that the experiment was successful, you are now a demon lord and it seems that your power has soared 50 times higher than before."
"That's amazing!" Amanises began to feel the energy coursing through her bones which is when she made her first discovery, her bones itself has become energy.
She inquired about this concern to me and I assured her that was the trademark of a divine nature.
It's time for my explanation on unexplained abilities, more specifically Hypno.
Hypnos abilities specializes in the degradation of both the physical and mental body. Imagine you're hit by a wave of darkness and while seeped in the darkness, your body begins eroding faster. You can't even defend against it because it will ensure you lose the will to resist it's effect. At some point everything about you will be gone and all that will be left is an undead husk enslave to Amanises. That's the inner workings of Hypno.
