Chapter 49 - Zelus

I spoke to the two Dryads beside me, "I'm gonna lay down on the grass, if someone asks if there's something wrong with me than just say I'm checking something out."

Doris and Trya looked at each other in confusion and then looked at me with wariness, "O…k."

"Thank you." I laid down on the grass, closed my eyes and began focusing on my heart core, 'Time to find out about my new Ultimate's.'

First was Nous, this ability houses almost every analytical ability that ever exist while still specialising in creation and synthesis. It has two sub-skills, one that specializes in analysis and one in synthesis. Sub-skill one is Omniscient eye(thought acceleration, Analytical appraisal, parallel processing, pursuit of truth, predictive calculation, future attack prediction and all of creation) and Sub-skill two is All things creation(Earth element manipulation, Mineral domination, Material creation, Galvanise, transmutation, fusion and separation), this is just ridiculous.

Second is Yaldabaoth, an ability that breaks down the laws of existence. It's essentially a combination of Shions Susanoo and Veldora's Nyarlathotep, to create what is probably the most overpowered offensive ultimate skill to date. The main sub-skills are action alteration, certain outcome, probability manipulation, destiny alteration and Oblivion. The first four sub-skills, you probably already know, the last one though… allows me to degrade everything to a state of 0, making it virtually non-existent, this can't happen instantly against opponents stronger than me but still extremely powerful.

Note to self, only use this one against an opponent I'm not sure I can beat because this is just overkill.

Lastly is Hecate, a consolidation of all my extra skills. By using Uriel's essence that connects the user with his believers and followers and Velzard as a catalyst. Hecate's essence is the will to travel, explore and more specifically connect worlds, it also represents the evolution of worlds and civilization. The sub-skills are…my god, Imaginary space, Dimension leap, Summon frost dragon, Restore frost dragon, Skill creation, Skill duplication, Skill gifting, Skill storage and Parallel existence.

Welp, that's it. I'm too fucking powerful.

I opened my eyes to see Velzard on my chest again, "So, whatcha doing?" She spoke curiously and seductively.

" What are you doing?" I asked while trying to sit up, upon sitting up, I saw the four she was fighting looked completely defeated except for Orion, "Jeez, you guys look amazing right now." I teased.

"Shut up, we almost got her!" Amanises shouted at me with stubborn denial.

"I'm sorry sweetie but Velzard was going easy on you guys."

"Wha!" They all yelped in surprise.

"Yeah, Velzard wasn't using her two ultimate skills. All she used was her raw strength and magic." Welp, that was a mistake, cause now they all looked dead, "Don't worry. If we follow Guys law, it's impossible to beat an ultimate skill user without one of your own."

Velzard spoke up while attached to me, "You know while you were plugged to that machine, I felt our connection get even stronger, mind explaining what that was?"

"Are you mad? Cause that sounds intimidating."

"No. Just curious."

" The process of infusing unique skills allowed me to consolidate all those unique skills and my extra skills into my Velzard skill, causing it to evolve."

Nyx came up sounding betrayed, " You… evolved an already ultimate skill even further? And we're stuck being so weak."

" I can assure you sweetheart that your strength is already far surpassing most nations military." Velzard tried to comfort her and surprisingly it worked. She suddenly got all fired up and wanted to challenge someone to a dual.

" Dad I challenge you to a dual!"

————————————————

'That did not end well for her.' I thought while looking at Nyx whose head was quite literally buried in the sand, " Well, if none of you mind, I'll be busy for a bit." I said while walking into the lab and then into my room.

Velzard seemed frustrated by this, " Well… I wanted to… spend some time together." Her voice began to slowly die down.

" Don't bother, when he says that and goes into his room, he most likely won't come out for a couple days." Nyx said grumpily when coming out of the ground.

"O…oh." Velzard became extremely downcast at this information.

————————————————

Why did I lock myself away, because I decided it was time to finally create my own specialized sword, with Nous, I'm hoping to create at least legend-grade.

One of the things Nous can do is merge different properties into metals and minerals to give the metal that properties. Example: if I merged magisteel with water, the magisteel will have the properties of water, and using runic magic from Galvanise, I can control the properties with ease by coding in the controls.

And I already know what kinda metal I want to make.

————————————————

Leon was currently walking through his castle when…

"Hello Leon!" Leon was frightened by the sudden visitor coming out of the portal.

"Huh, what do you want?" Leon was still trying to catch his breath while asking.

"Can I have a couple spiritrons.

Leon grumpled and eyed me down with suspicion, but obliged anyway.

As he began doing so, my mind began analysing for some reason, my instinct began telling me to watch every moment of his actions, every sequence of events. I became astonished at what I had just done, it wasn't had to figure out what I had just did.

And just like that I had absorbed a bunch of spiritrons into a spirit vacuum…

…And catalogued Metatron into Hecate allowing me to use it's effects whenever I need to do so.

The machine I had used to infuse unique skills into an individual had become useless now that I had Hecate. It allowed me to give out new skills that I created from previous data and I can even give out skills without a soul corridor, the limitations is the compatibility between gift and receiver.

————————————————

Now that I had acquired spiritrons. I needed to imbue it into a chunk of Hihi'irokane that I prepared before hand, more specifically, I prepared 3 beforehand. The spiritrons fused with the metal and it immediately began disintegrating shit, I encoded the necessary commands into it before the entire base became nothing.

Now that the hard part was finished and I finally used this skill successfully. I operated on the second piece and repeated the process again but this time with Nihility. As for the third, I imbued my own mana, aka diluted stardust, so that it acts as a stabilising agent between the minus and plus energy and so that the completed product will respond more affinitively towards me.

I began molding the three clumps together into a new metal, a solidified piece of chaos in the palm of my hands… why do I feel so powerful?

After that, I began some good ol'forging

…Sike, my way of doing it is much easier, and with a lot of time and sweat, it was finally done.

The sword was based of a chokutō, a straight, long sword going up to 5 feet. The hand guard was non-existant. The handle was a classic tsukamaki wrapping. The blade was a pitch-black colour with white magic engraved veins in it that was glowing a white light with a feint rainbow colour.

This blades power is the maximisation of destruction and the insurance of death. The blade can erase a target and combined with Yaldabaoth, it becomes a one shot to almost everyone. There are safety measures, more specifically, the chaos output can increase and decrease depending on the users will and intent, meaning I can control it to not cause extinction.

"Jeez, this was something else. This sword is… what should I name this sword?" I sat there pondering what to name the sword that would be my main weapon.

"Huh, how about Zelus." I said to myself as I held the sword up high, I could feel the sword immediately imprint onto me, it's power merging with mine.
