The days started to blend together in a way that felt heavy and slow. Time didn't seem to move at the normal speed anymore. It had been a while since my fight with Lia, and she still hadn't said a single word to me. I checked my phone constantly, hoping to see a notification or a simple "hello," but there was nothing. Not a single text message. Not a missed call. Even when we were in the same building at school, the silence between us was deafening. Whenever I saw her in the hallway, my heart would jump, hoping she might look at me, but she always turned away. She would find a different path or look at her feet, treating me like I was a complete stranger she had never met before.
