Chapter 2 - Dragon's Dreams

⚠️WARNING: Slight mention of blood and death⚠️

"I've been sleeping for 6 hours straight!" She thought to herself after glancing at her phone.

She sat up straight, sighing "Don't forget why you are here!" She told herself.

Fixing her hair in a quick messy bun, she started arranging her things in a place which they call an apartment but in fact it wasn't even a room?

It was around 8.35 pm when she started.

Wiping the sweat dramatically, she threw herself on the bean bag- the only "furniture" the owner of the apartment provided her with- "I should be rewarded for all this hard work."

A creepy smile crept her face. She wore her hoodie and headed down to the convenience store.

Buying all the beautifully packed items and having it one by one, she made sure she was enjoying it.

Heading back, she plopped herself on the bed and drifted to her wonderland.

On the same thread of time, YongEul wiped his face with the towel he had on his shoulders.

Panting, from the extreme gym workouts that enhanced his heavenly body even more majestically.

He too wiped the sweat from his forehead.

Found himself on a chair, took out a water bottle from the table and drank from it like it's heavenly nectar.

He lifted himself and walked toward the shower.

Removing each clothing he had, exposing his well-built body to nothing but atmosphere, he cleaned himself.

Tired after a long day, he finally plopped himself on the soft mattress.

Within a couple of seconds, cute snoring could be heard from the room.

"No! Wait! Please I beg you!" He ran behind a woman. She was fast and smooth. "Who is that woman?" He thought to himself.

The way she was giggling and running around, making him chase after her was making him curious.

"Do I know her?" He again reminded himself.

But she definitely felt close and comfortable and above all of that very familiar.

The moment she turned her face.

Both flew up to the sky.

She was flying but he was struggling, to keep up and with nothing to grab on.

Within a blink of an eye he fell, she did too but he could listen to her giggles, a part of it annoyed him, made him frustrated and another part of him enjoyed her.

Both fell straight into the river.

He couldn't see.

There was no sunlight.

Suddenly he could see, he felt like the sun was right above the river.

He could see her, her long hair, her beautiful eyes, her smile and the red hanbok she wore made her look like a goddess.

A smile formed between his lips, his heart felt full.

But then he focused again, he met her, he met the woman in his dream.

The girl from the traffic.

His eyes widened, his smile vanished.

Before he could process, the smile on her face turned into a shocked emotion when a spear pierced right through her chest, blood everywhere, the way his heart clenched at this sight, but couldn't move a single muscle.

He struggled.

He watched her life leave from her eyes and her body drowned deep into the void.

He couldn't take it.

He wanted to scream.

He wanted to kill himself.

But why?

For a random girl he saw in traffic that morning?

His eyes darted upwards when he saw something move.

He found it terrifying.

The fact that he couldn't even move a muscle made him anxious.

At a distance, he saw the movement again.

His heart raced.

It paced towards him.

Moving faster.

He prepared himself for death.

It was a massive head.

Of an animal?

A snake?

A fish?

It raced and braked right in front of him.

His eyes widened, "A dragon!" He felt so tiny in front of that majestic creature.

Suddenly, the dragon leaped towards him, straight into his body.

Jumped out of his body, YongEul panted, breathed heavily.

Sweat on his forehead.

Placing his hand on his heart, "What the fuck was that?!"
