Crackle, snap~ Bang! Bang!

"Bombarda!"

A series of heart-pounding sounds echoed deep within the Forbidden Forest, interspersed with the crisp snapping of tree branches broken by immense force and dull thuds.

After a "kind and friendly" "conversation," the Acromantulas finally "deeply understood" the "logic" of win-win cooperation.

Lynn's trunk opened, and two empty barrels with surprisingly large capacities floated out unsteadily, landing firmly in the forest clearing.

"Come on, come on, don't crowd! Line up, be civilized, and show some manners!" Lynn waved his wand like a traffic controller. "This side, yes, your team is responsible for spinning silk. It needs to be pure and lustrous—no impurities! Over there, your team, provide the venom. It needs to be high concentration and freshly harvested!"

The Acromantulas, who now understood the "logic," looked at each other, their compound eyes flickering with despair.

Looking at those two barrels, which were so huge they seemed capable of holding the entire nest's stock, they understood that they would likely have to drain themselves dry to fill them. While they wouldn't drop dead on the spot, they certainly wouldn't feel good afterward.

Lynn looked at the hesitating spiders and patted the sides of the two large barrels, producing a dull sound. He urged them in a "kind" tone: "Hey~ don't just stand there! Get moving, friends! The sooner you finish, the sooner you're free, and the sooner you can go home and rest! I'm in a hurry!"

Under the pressure of "logic," the spiders finally resigned themselves to their fate and began to act.

They clumsily split into two rows. One row moved to the silk barrel, distending their abdomens to secrete spider silk, slowly pouring it into the barrel. The other row moved to the venom barrel, squeezing out their precious venom.

Lynn stood aside with his arms crossed, supervising. Watching the two barrels of "local specialties" accumulate at a slow but steady pace, his already good mood from completing the Animagus preparation steps improved even further.

He had plenty of materials to squander again!

He could try making more powerful magical fabrics, enchanted bowstrings, new types of toxins, or even develop something new by mixing spider silk and venom... Just as he was happily planning his future experiments and counting his expected gains, an unprovoked chill suddenly pierced the back of his neck like a fine needle!

Lynn looked around, his wand sliding into his palm.

Almost at the same time, from the corner of his eye, he caught a dark red shadow skimming over the treetops at an extremely high speed. It moved so fast it almost left an afterimage, heading straight for the clearing where he was!

What was that thing? Its form was blurred, its speed incredible, its color eerie, and its flight path silent.

Just as he wanted to identify it more closely—

A sudden change occurred!

At the end of the dark red shadow's trajectory, a drop of thick, crimson blood, smelling strongly of rust, shot through the air like a bolt from a heavy crossbow, aiming straight for Lynn's face!

Its speed far exceeded that of an ordinary Spell!

"Holy crap! What is that?!"

Lynn cursed. Relying on his control over his body's limits, he jerked his head to the side at the last possible second!

Swish!

That eerie drop of blood flew past his ear. On the clearing behind him, an unfortunate Acromantula, which had been "working hard" and hadn't had time to react, was hit right in the back of its carapace by the drop of blood!

Sizzle—!!!

A strange sound, like strong acid corroding or flesh being instantly drained, suddenly erupted!

The drop of blood "melted" and seeped into the spider's hard carapace like a living thing. In the next second, the spider's massive body twitched violently. It emitted a short hiss, its eight legs flailing helplessly.

A fist-sized, dark red blood orb, still rolling and expanding, condensed out of thin air above its body. Its originally full body withered and shriveled at a visible rate, turning into a dried corpse within seconds and collapsing to the ground!

This all happened too fast; from the blood being shot to the spider's sudden death, it took only two or three seconds.

The other Acromantulas were scared out of their wits by this terrifying scene. A commotion broke out as they scrambled to flee deep into the nest, no longer caring about their "production tasks."

Lynn's eyes instantly turned cold. Without any hesitation, he raised his wand:

"Confringo!"

A powerful Spell shot from his wand, slamming into the area he had locked onto!

Boom—!!!

The massive explosion shook the trees, flames soared into the sky, and the shockwave overturned fallen leaves and gravel on the ground. Several large trees that were directly hit instantly broke and burned.

However, after the smoke and dust cleared, the scene made Lynn narrow his eyes slightly.

Near the center of the explosion, a translucent shield made of dark red, viscous blood was steadily held open. Its surface constantly bubbled and rolled like a boiling pool of blood, isolating most of the explosion's impact and flames.

Although the shield's light had dimmed significantly and its edges were somewhat damaged, it had indeed blocked the Explosion Charm.

Behind that dark red blood shield, a figure appeared in Lynn's field of vision.

It was a tall, thin man wearing dark red robes. His skin was an unhealthy grayish-white, and his hair was as black as ink, combed meticulously.

His face was eerily pale. Most striking were his slightly parted, sharp canine teeth that glinted coldly, and a pair of eyes glowing with a dark red light.

Lynn let out a soft "Eh?" and raised an eyebrow, instantly recognizing this creature with such distinct features:

"A vampire?"

No wonder the speed was so fast and the attack method so strange.

The vampire opposite him didn't respond to Lynn's words. His eyes just stared fixedly at Lynn, reflecting Lynn's figure, filled with greed.

He slowly raised one of his pale, nearly transparent palms, fingers spread.

Clang—!

A sharp sound like metal being unsheathed!

The vampire's fingernails suddenly surged and extended, turning into five terrifying blades at least half a foot long, their edges shimmering with dark red blood-light!

In the next second, he lunged forward, his body pulling a trail of afterimages like a ghost. The five-fingered blades tore through the air, accompanied by a piercing whistle, aiming straight for Lynn's throat!

"Heh, close combat?" Lynn's eyes sharpened. Instead of retreating, he took half a step forward. With a flick of his wrist, he pointed his wand at the charging vampire:

"Erumpent Charge!"

The air in front of Lynn vibrated violently!

A phantom of a massive Erumpent appeared out of thin air, with bulging muscles, large curved horns on its head, and rock-like scales covering its body, letting out a silent roar!

Although the phantom was slightly transparent, it was incredibly solid. With the force of ten thousand tons, it slammed head-on into the charging vampire!

This collision was simple and unadorned, but full of power!

Bang—!!!

The dull sound of the impact exploded in the forest!

The vampire's seemingly incomparably sharp nail blades were clearly "not strong enough" against the terrifying impact force of the Erumpent phantom, which was comparable to a battering ram.

In just one encounter, the five blood-colored blades shattered and broke like fragile ice crystals, dark red fragments flying in all directions!

And the Erumpent phantom's impact didn't stop, hitting the vampire squarely in the chest!

"Ugh!" The vampire let out a short, muffled groan, his face seemingly turning even whiter.

His high-speed forward momentum was forcibly halted by this brute force, and he was knocked back like a broken kite, slamming hard into an ancient tree behind him that required two people to encircle!

Crack!

The trunk groaned under the unbearable weight, the bark exploded, and wood chips flew. The vampire was partially embedded into the trunk, his dark red robes torn and bloodied, looking quite pathetic.

After completing this strike, the Erumpent phantom slowly dissipated into the air.

Lynn looked at the vampire sliding down from the trunk, half-kneeling on the ground and gasping for breath while clutching his chest, a cold sneer forming at the corner of his mouth.

"It seems your nails were well maintained, but they lack a bit of hardness."

He flexed his wrist, raising his wand again to point at the opponent.

"Now, it's my turn. Tell me, who sent you to Hogwarts?"
