Asa looked surprised at my behavior, but not unhappy.
"I already said I'd be yours," he whispered breathlessly. "I agreed to your terms. I… I'd never cheat."
"You sure?" I growled, searching his face for any signs he was deceiving me.
"I swear."
I ran my finger down his cheek, taking in the rosy flush of his skin. His lashes were so dark in contrast to his golden hair. My eyes dropped to his lips, so full and inviting. I wanted to touch him and kiss him, but without the excuse of his heat, I felt stilted.
He licked his lower lip, eyes warm and needy. "You… you can kiss me if you want. I… I don't mind."
