"I don't know the reason, Eclipse. He has been on the run since then. The Hollow is hunting him down."
Eclipse drew back, stunned beyond words.
Of all the news she had expected Ronan to come bearing, that was not one of them.
She hadn't even imagined it, nor remotely dreamt that the fearsome assassin with a heavily scarred face, one good eye and who carried an umbrella wherever he went, would do such a thing.
She shook her head slowly.
"How?" she asked, simply because it made no sense to her. Nor did she find any logic the news.
"The Pale Warden wouldn't say anything." Ronan answered, "only that the Bloodhound is now a level one threat and traitor to the organization,."
Her mind roamed aimlessly, digging into memories of every one of her last interactions with the Bloodhound before she departed for the North for any signs that the man who trained her as a weapon of the Hollow was a traitor.
