When she stood at the gate leading to the fruit farm, the guards requested a pass.
Chloe showed them the one the queen had given her.
It seems that everything in the palace is guarded.

In every group, there was one long tree, a medium one but with alot of branches and with the other one being short.
All the trees looked unfamiliar.
"Larry, don't you think something is wrong?" She asked the system.
The way the trees were behaving felt cringe, she even saw one tree flogging the other with it's branches.

They now have three genders but what I don't know is that, the female sometimes produce fruits but the fruits will have sentient.
Once killed they become the undead just like humans.

When the calf is born after a day or two, it starts running around.

Chloe touched the tree with many branches which twitched, she scrubbed the back with a knife and it screamed hard.
" Evil woman, how dare you make this queen bald?." The voice sounded feminine. She knew that is a woman tree.
"What are you?" Chloe asked the screaming tree.
"I'm a tree can't you see."
" It seems your vocabulary is limited, I am asking what type of tree are you?"
" A mango tree, that is how the people who feed us call us."
"System, how am I supposed to purify it." Everything looked complicated.

"How am I sure the seedling is a mer,a female or a male?" Looking at the plump tree, she was sure the trees were taken care for.
Call her stupid but she can't differentiate trees. If they could have a mammary gland like animals it would be better.
[ You need the sentient tree seeds. After getting the seed, you need to purify it carefully by killing the regeneration enzymes in it.] The system said.
Chloe looked at the still wailing tree with irritation. It seems it won't stop screaming so she chose to threaten it.
She put her hand on the longest tree while controlling all her powers to attack it.
With a bang, the tree exploded followed by wailings.
"Shut up." Chloe shouted, their cries were giving her headache.
She looked at the mango tree before asking for it's fruits.
When she saw it hesitating, she threatened it by placing her hand on it.
It chickened out and it didn't hesitate to drop all of it's fruits.
Chloe collected all of them to a space bag the system had gifted her with a wide smile.
The smile stretched, her molars could be seen.
Looking at the now fruitless mango tree, she smiled "now you can complain being bald."
The tree trembled as Chloe walked away examining different kind of trees.
When bored, she would torture the trees a little and hearing them call her an evil woman every now and then, that would increase her mood.
After walking all around for three hours, she searched for the person who took care of the trees to know their characteristics.
It was a woman in her earlier twenties. She was wearing a dark green cargo pants with a white croptop and a jungle green jacket.
Her black hair was tied in a ponytail. She had a round face with no eyebrows but strangely enough she looked stunning.
She was tending to young seedlings with care.
When the woman saw Chloe, her lips stretched into a sincere relieved smile.
"Chloe, long time. I always hear stories about how you harass even married mers, visiting brothels and bars even the dark market that homes unrecognized mers." She seems to be a chatterbox.
Chloe's mouth twitched at how the woman talked on and on without even introducing herself.
So she decided to just nod or smile, sometimes even giving arkwad laughs listening to the description of her misdeeds.
You know listening to rumours and being told them directly has a different taste.
The fire that will burn in you to revenge yourself on how you have been wronged for sometime but it always dies after relaxing.
When the woman saw how clueless Chloe was, she tilted her head to the side as she asked if Chloe remembers her.
She moved her face closer while blinking her eyes hard even Chloe feared they will be broken at the process.
When Chloe didn't recognize her, the woman looked betrayed and started wailing.
Chloe was lost for words, she arkwadly parted her on the back but the woman had to do the unexpected.
The woman just had sit down and wail loudly while using Chloe's cloth to remove snort in her nose.
Chloe felt disgusted but she really couldn't bring herself to hate the woman, it's like that is how they usually was. But she can't remember anything.
[ Iiiww, Chloe, that is disgusting.] The woman's wailing stopped a little while secretly keeping an eye on the helpless Chloe.
"What happened to her eyebrows?"
[I thought you will ask whom she is, but I did underestimate your curiosity.
She lost a bet with her sister so she had to shave her eyebrows.]
"I like perfection. So, who is she? System." She feels like this woman is important to her.
The woman's workers were now pointing at her, she was sure that, come tomorrow morning, her reputation would have received another hit.

Nillan, now she remembered.
In the original novel, she had three friends, one of them was Nillan. She doesn't know what happened, but at the end of the chapter none of the friends were mentioned.
"A real general, then what is she doing here in the palace farm?."

Chloe looked at the now silent Nillan in concern, because the woman just stopped abruptly in her wailing.
She called her carefully, "mmh Nillan."
Nillan raised her head before using Chloe's sleeve to wipe the remaining snort.
She looks completely fine.
"Can I take a look at the other seedlings and how they are taken care of?" She asked carefully.
She really didn't want to make her cry again.
"Sure, just follow this way you will see the seedlings ahead, I will be at your back." Nillan answered.
"Where is your evill sister?" Nillan asked.
Chloe raised an eyebrow at how Nillan addressed Ava as evil "At the company probably."
"She had been visiting here always like searching for something." Nillan said.
Chloe stopped in her trucks. She started thinking on what Ava maybe after but she didn't get any clue from the book.
"Are you interested in her?" Chloe asked jokingly.
She didn't expect Nillan to take it personal. "Bah! Who can be interested in that goody two shoes, am in love with you and am gonna never betray you."
The hell, how did it come to this. Chloe moved away from Nillan.
When Nillan saw how Chloe behaved, she laughed. "You are still cute."
"System, you didn't say she is into women? She is a fucking lesbian when am completely straight." She shouted inwardly.
