Chloe looked at the trees that looked young but were old.
They were still singing how Nillan and her are couples in secret even when she told them to stay silent.
When she wanted to threaten them with her powers, they became silent like they knew her too well.
Nillan on the other side was looked amused at everything.
"Nillan, what do you feed them?"
"Animal manure, decaying leaves and we water them daily.
Some of this trees are carnivorous in nature, they feed on humans so what we do with them is supplying animal's blood everyday."
Chloe looked disgusted. "Can I get the available seedlings?"
"Sure." Nillan left but after sometime she came back with mers who were carrying different seeds and seedlings.
"Carefully put them down then you can leave." Nillan ordered the mer workers.
"This are all the type of trees we have." Nillan said. " How are you going to transport them, or should I call a transportation company to help you move them to your house?"
"Thanks buddy." Chloe parted Nillan on the shoulder. As long as Nillan will be the one paying.
"Let's not meet another time." Chloe left hastily fearing she will be told to pay the delivery fee.
After making sure she was far from Nillan, she exhaled a relief.
She really needed to start a business.
Nillan looked at Chloe's retreating figure before she chuckled.
She opened her wrist phone, scrolling the apps she clicked MeetChat which is also like WhatsApp in Earth.
After clicking open, she went directly to a group named 'she is back' before typing a greeting.
She waited for few minutes but there was no reply.
She sent a red packet and after a few seconds it was already opened what remained was 1$ from 1000$.
She laughed angrily. That is how the group members always are.
A group with more than a thousand members all of them being online never replied to any of her text but every time she sends money they grab it in seconds leaving only 1$ in every batch she sends.
She thought for some time before typing, ' she is back' and pressed sent.
After a few seconds, the group became lively but Nillan had already left and switched her phone off.

Chloe went back to where their car was and the mers were already seated just waiting for her.
She watched them weary and seeing how their mood look low she decided to give up talking to them.
She squeezed in between Nathan and Cassen without looking embarrassed at all.
By now she was used to it.
The mers looked at her angrily before snorting. She looked at Cassen specifically hoping to see a different expression but just like others he was puffing.
They seem to be on periods that explain their mood swings.
[What if they are pregnant?] Larry couldn't take it no more. Chloe always behaves like she will never be the reason to anyone's sulking.
" No way! Am virgin and innocent kay."
[Innocent? You with innocence don't come along. I can even name all your private videos offhandedly.]
Chloe narrowed her eyes. [You have been spying on this grandma?"
[Spying] Larry laughed coldly,[ how can I spy on something that is within me.]
"I don't trust you." Chloe said.
[And I didn't ask for your trust that is yours to keep.] Larry was fuming.
"All of you are acting like you have been wronged." She heard them snorting.
Chloe looked at them before looking at their belly and lastly her left wrist.
She started pondering what could be their problem but after a few seconds she thought about something else.
"System, I want to start a business."
[You should know I don't babysit or your professional assistant right.]
She ignored the sarcasim. "What job do you think is suitable?"
[What are you good at?] Larry asked back.
"I don't know."
[In all your 44years what have you been doing?] Larry sounded annoyed.
"Buying goods and selling them in retail shops."
[You really are something. Just plant those trees after sometime you will sell the fruits, you are hopeless.]
"How long is sometime then, a year or a decade?" The system has been insulting her but she ignored it.
[A month or two.] It replied grumply.
"You sound immature now." Chloe told the system.
[I'm immature, am a two year old kid and if you have an evidence to show am old then bring it.]
"Am mad okay the kind of mad that when I hear you are on my eulogy I will wake up and tear the paper into pieces before returning to my eternal slumber." Chloe shouted at the system inwardly.
She has decided not to talk to the system if it won't coarse her.
When she saw how the mers looked happy, her anger intensified.
She decided to look at her right wrist to find out weather what she saw was wrong.
She curiously pulled the strings and they were tangible.
She grabbed Nathan hand forcefully using his fingertips, she touched the strings before asking carefully. " Can you feel it?"
He looked at her and she could see his anger rising. She saw how he looked furious before he became calm. "You cheated?" He accused her.
She didn't give a damn about their reactions.
'so it wasn't a lie, there are strings and blue at that but why are they ten." She looked confused.
"Ten?" Six voices were heard, she looked at them dangerously, she was pretty sure she didn't voice her thoughts loud so how did they know
the number?
"Speak." She asked Cassen specifically.
He fidgeted before replying, "we .. and Nathan confirmed it."
She couldn't hear some words clearly, she looked at the other mers expression and she saw the same expression. Frowning in confusion.
She looked at them for sometime before looking away.
"What is the meaning of blue strings?" She asked the system. Her voice was now cold like a different person.
She tapped her fingers on her thigh.
[ I thought you were mad.] It retorted.
" You seem to have been too free Larry. I thought you are working direct with father whose ears are everywhere. I repeat, what is the meaning of blue strings?"
[You are back!] It was shocked. How strong was Chloe to even fight the new her.
The one who is talking is Chloe who had three lifetimes memories.
Chloe who doesn't lose temper easly.
Chloe who is more dangerous than Bree her father.
Is she back? And when that thought passed through their minds all of them wished to run away from her.
