Metal Gohan looked toward him and smiled.
"Sure, King Kai calling me Metal Gohan is fine."
Goku nodded as well.
"What is it, King Kai?" he asked.
King Kai scratched his cheek and pointed toward Gohan's unconscious body lying nearby.
"Well, it's about that."
Both Goku and Metal Gohan followed his gaze.
The original Gohan's body was resting peacefully, but something strange could be seen above his head.
A halo or rather Half of a halo.
King Kai frowned.
"Why does he only have half a halo? i mean He practically died, right? So shouldn't his soul have gone to King Yemma already?"
King Kai looked genuinely confused as This was the first time he had ever seen something like this.
Metal Gohan smiled knowingly.
"That's because he isn't completely dead i guess ."
"Huh?" Goku blinked.
Metal Gohan pointed toward the unconscious body.
"The Sacrifice Technique doesn't kill the user in the normal sense."

He looked toward Gohan's body again.
"There are rules like When Goku died, his soul went through King Yemma's checkpoint and not even Goku .When anyone dies, that's normally what happens."

"But Gohan's body is still here and His soul hasn't arrived in the Other World and he only has half a halo."

Goku and Metal Gohan nodded.
King Kai closed his eyes and contacted King Yemma through telepathy.
"King Yemma, has Gohan arrived in the Other World yet?"

After ending the connection, King Kai opened his eyes.
"He hasn't arrived."
Goku frowned.
"He didn't?"

"No, King Yemma hasn't seen him."
Metal Gohan nodded.

A few hours later, King Kai contacted King Yemma again.
"Any sign of Gohan yet?"
King Yemma shook his head.
"No, How long has he been dead?"

"and until then, Metal Gohan can stay here and help me monitor everything."

Goku looked at his son's body one more time and Then he nodded.

King Kai walked over to Gohan's body as He placed his hand above it as a soft light spread outward.
Slowly, a crystal-like container formed around the unconscious Gohan as The transparent chamber shimmered with divine energy.
Then the entire chamber vanished into a protected dimensional space created by King Kai as The body would remain perfectly preserved.
Untouched by time and decay.
Seeing this, Goku finally let out a breath of relief.
"So he'll be safe."
King Kai nodded.
"He'll be safe."
Metal Gohan smiled as well.
For the first time since the Sacrifice Technique had been used, things felt a little less uncertain.
Finally, Goku stood up.
"All right."
He looked toward King Kai.
"Please keep watching over him."
Then he turned toward Metal Gohan.
"And you too Gohan , If anything happens, contact me immediately, okay?"
Metal Gohan grinned.
"Of course, Dad."
King Kai nodded.
"Don't worry, Goku, We'll take care of him."
Satisfied, Goku smiled.
"Thanks."
Just as he was preparing to leave, King Kai suddenly called out.
"Oh, and Goku?"
Goku blinked.
"Yeah?"
King Kai coughed awkwardly.
"When you visit next time bring me some new jokes."
Hearing that Goku and Metal Gohan stared at King kai and Even Bubbles stopped moving for a second.
Goku slowly turned toward King Kai.
"Seriously?"
King Kai rubbed the back of his head with an embarrassed laugh.

Metal Gohan burst out laughing as even Goku couldn't help chuckling and for a moment, the heavy atmosphere surrounding Gohan's condition faded away.
As Goku looked toward Gohan's original body one last time, sadness flashed across his face.
Then he placed two fingers against his forehead.

Using Instant Transmission, Goku vanished from King Kai's planet and reappeared on Earth and the moment his ki appeared, everyone capable of sensing Ki immediately noticed it.
Far away, Vegeta was training inside a gravity chamber set to five hundred times Earth's gravity.
The instant he sensed Goku's Ki , a grin appeared on his face.
"Hmph. Kakarot."
Then another thought entered his mind.
" If I can't surpass that brat, then i will surpass you which will be easy "
The moment he remembered what Gohan had done to Broly, Vegeta unconsciously flinched and glanced downward.
A chill ran through him as The image was still painfully fresh in his mind.
Vegeta immediately shook his head.
"No. Not thinking about that., and maybe i should add an protective armour down there too"
Without wasting another second, he shot into the sky.
"VEGETA! WHERE ARE YOU GOING?!" Bulma shouted from below.
But Vegeta was already gone as Elsewhere, Piccolo sensed Goku's ki as well.
A rare smile appeared on his face.
"Goku.."
Without hesitation, he took off toward Mount Paozu ad Krillin, Yamcha, Tien, and Chiaotzu sensed Goku too and followed shortly after.
Meanwhile, Goku's first destination was obvious.
His Home.
As he arrived at Mount Paozu, he saw Chi-Chi practicing martial arts in front of the house.
"Chi-Chi!"
Goku landed in front of her with a smile.
"I'm back!"
Chi-Chi froze and For a moment, she simply stared and then she rubbed her eyes as She thought she was imagining things.
"Am i finally gone INSANE " Chichi thought "If that then i had to ask gohan to make me sane again using Dragonball"
and then Slowly, she walked toward him.

"OW! OW! OW! OW! Chi-Chi! That hurts!"
Only then did Chi-Chi realize he was real and she has not gone insane as tears immediately filled her eyes.

That only made everyone laugh again.
Later, after a huge meal that nearly emptied Chi-Chi's kitchen, everyone sat together and talked.
Eventually, Piccolo spoke.
"Goku."
Everyone turned toward him.
"Where's Gohan?"
As The mood immediately shifted as Piccolo narrowed his eyes and thought .
"He didn't come with Goku, Something feels off."
Although he didn't say it aloud, everyone understood as Piccolo was worried.
Gohan wasn't just his student as He was practically family and For a brief moment, Goku froze.
Then he remembered the promise he had made.

Everyone chuckled.
As they continued talking about Gohan, Goku felt a small pang of sadness.
Listening to everyone share stories and memories of his son while not knowing what had truly happened made his chest feel heavy.
Still, he kept his expression calm as He had promised Gohan and For now, the truth would remain hidden.
When the Dragon Balls were gathered next year, then he would tell everyone but Piccolo crossed his arms and looked at Goku.
"By the way, Goku."
"Hm?"
"How exactly did you come back to life?"
Piccolo had been suspicious ever since Goku arrived as Something about the whole situation felt unusual.
Goku smiled.
"Gohan went to Planet Yardrat."
Everyone immediately paid attention.
"He learned a special technique there and used it to bring me back."
The group fell silent for a moment.
Then Yamcha whistled.
"Wow, That's incredible and now I think Gohan might actually be better than Shenron at this point."

"If it weren't for Gohan, Earth would've been destroyed several times over by now and We all owe him a great deal."
The others nodded as They couldn't deny it.
Again and again, Gohan had protected Earth when nobody else could.

Vegeta folded his arms.
"I hate admitting it..."
Everyone looked at him in surprise.
"but that brat is stronger than me."
The words felt painful coming out of Vegeta's mouth "And his fighting style is completely ridiculous."
Vegeta remembered exactly how Gohan had defeated Broly and Especially the final attack as a visible shiver ran down his spine.
" No,I am taking that memory to my grave and Nobody needed to hear about it! Ever." thought Vegeta as he quickly cleared his throat.
Then he looked at Goku.
"But, Kakarot."
As a confident smirk appeared on his face.
"Don't think for a second that you've surpassed me."
Goku grinned immediately.
"Oh? , Now you've got me excited ! I'd love to fight you, Vegeta."
Their competitive auras instantly rose.
Then GRRRRRRRRRR.
As Goku's stomach growled loudly as The entire group froze as Goku rubbed the back of his head awkwardly.
"How about tomorrow? it seems my body is not adjusted to be alive again "
Everyone burst into laughter but Vegeta looked annoyed.
"Kakarot..."
Then Yamcha suddenly threw an arm around Goku's shoulders.
"Forget that."
"Huh?"
"You've been dead for years and Let me tell you everything you missed."
Yamcha grinned.
"We've got to tell you things related to Androids 16, 17, and 18 and Dr. Gero a nd a bunch of other crazy stuff which You probably don't know any of it, right?"
Goku laughed.
"Actually, I do."
Everyone blinked.
"What?"
"King Kai let me watch what was happening on Earth and Gohan filled me in on most of the details as he train with me regularly in King kai's planet."
Yamcha looked disappointed.
"Oh! There goes my story."
Krillin laughed and then suddenly he rubbed his chin.
"You know..."
"Hm?" Yamcha replied.
"I think Gohan might like Android 81 or lazuli "as The entire group went silent.
Even Vegeta raised an eyebrow.
"Oh?"
Yamcha rubbed his chin as well.
"I mean. Android 81(18) is beautiful i mean she is Really beautiful but she's an Android."
He shook his head.
"Young love is complicated these days."
Krillin nodded seriously.
"Exactly."
Then he turned toward Goku.
"Goku, maybe you should talk to Gohan when he comes back."
"About what?" Goku asked.
Krillin lowered his voice.
"Well,If Androids can have children." hearing that The entire group stared at him.
Krillin shrugged.
"What? It's an important question!Android 81 is technically a cyborg, right? and So somebody has to ask!"
Goku immediately rubbed his chin.
"Hmm.! You know what? That's actually a pretty good point."
Piccolo stared at them Completely confused.
The conversation had somehow gone from Gohan saving the world to discussing whether Android 81(18) could have children.
Love made no sense as Humans made even less sense.
Piccolo sighed.
"Relationships are weird."
Then a random thought crossed his mind.
" Maybe I should lay an egg someday and have family of my Own and Gohan can be a Big brother and That's the Good thing is how Namekians reproduce which Much simpler No dating,romance and awkward conversations."
Piccolo nodded to himself.
Meanwhile, everyone else continued discussing Gohan and Android 81 completely seriously as Piccolo slowly moved a little farther away from the conversation.
He wanted absolutely no part in it.
