Chapter 127 - Chapter 18: Divinity Fall

---

Tenkai moved.

The cosmic energy at both hands — the foundational layer, honest power without transformation. Multiple simultaneous bursts released from multiple points — not one beam, the multi-point release that arrived below the visible tracking speed.

Xen Astria moved through the sky.

Not away from the bursts.

Through the spaces between them.

The spaces between multiple simultaneous bursts were small spaces. You needed either the reading of the pattern in advance or the speed that made reading unnecessary.

She moved like she had the reading.

She moved through every single one.

Then she was in front of Tenkai.

The kick found his jaw.

His head moved. He moved.

She continued moving — the crimson frost bursts from her hands, small dense concentrations of corrupted cold at close range.

They hit.

The sequence of close-range explosive impacts — each burst finding him before the previous one's communication had registered.

He was thrown.

He hit the ground.

The crimson ice formed around the contact points. Spreading. Finding the nerves.

The specific wrong pain of something that should not be inside a body being inside it.

Tenkai breathed.

He held.

**Astra :** "TENKAI."

He moved.

The silver flames — the divine breath from the Dragon Goddess layer, the specific warmth older than the crimson.

He breathed it across Tenkai.

The silver met the crimson.

The silver was older.

The ice retreated.

Tenkai breathed.

**Tenkai :** "Thank you."

He said it with the quality of someone who did not say it easily.

**Astra :** "Stay up."

**Tenkai :** "I am up."

He rose.

---

Kaizar.

He had watched.

He breathed.

He moved across the field at the pace built into him — not performed speed, the natural pace of someone made for this.

He gathered.

The golden energy at his hand — compression of divine power into a point smaller than the power should fit, held there by what divine energy was at its nature.

**Kaizar :** "Divinity Fall."

He jumped.

He rose.

The golden energy brightened — not the ambient aura, the concentrated bright of something approaching its expression. The moment before the release when everything that was going to happen was gathered and present.

From his hand:

Beams.

Thousands.

The specific eruption of the Divinity Fall — divine energy releasing from the compressed point as all directions simultaneously. The omnidirectional release of something that had been held as a point and had found its moment to become a field.

The field lit with golden light.

Divine energy at this scale hitting the crimson ice field.

Baam.

Bam.

Baaaaam.

The explosions moved through the field. Golden meeting crimson. Two enormous things in the same space rewriting the local geography.

---

Xen Astria looked at it.

She looked at the thousands of beams.

She looked at the golden light moving through the field.

She breathed.

She raised one hand.

One hand.

**Xen Astria :** "One glance."

She looked at the field.

She glanced.

---

The ice came from everywhere.

Not the ground. Not her hands. Everywhere — the entire space, the energy present throughout it, expressing from throughout it simultaneously.

The golden beams met it.

They were absorbed.

Not blocked. Absorbed. The corrupted ice accepting the divine energy and the divine energy finding the space configured to prevent its expression.

The beams disappeared.

One by one.

Then all at once.

The golden light — gone.

The field the same field it had been.

The crimson the only light remaining.

Like nothing had happened.

Like the Divinity Fall had not existed.

Kaizar landed.

He looked at the field.

He looked at where the beams had been.

**Kaizar :** "What."

Xen Astria lowered her hand.

She touched two fingers to her head.

**Xen Astria :** "Huh. Too bad."

She said it pleasantly.

**Xen Astria :** "I thought the Divinity Fall might actually reach me."

She breathed.

**Xen Astria :** "Almost."

She looked at the team.

**Xen Astria :** "None of you are weak. That is genuinely good to know."

The crimson ice aura rose around her.

Full expression.

Covering the ground, covering the sky above the field.

**Xen Astria :** "But good to know is different from sufficient."

---

She moved toward Charo and Chara.

Not fast.

The pace of something that did not need speed because the arriving was not the point.

The overwhelming was.

The pressure of the crimson aura arrived before she did.

Charo felt it. She was reading the incoming — the pattern of the approach, the distribution of the pressure.

**Charo :** "Chara."

**Chara :** "I see it."

**Charo :** "Third angle."

**Chara :** "Yes."

They moved to the angle the pressure did not originate from.

From portals beside them — twin portals, the crimson-tinged deep portals of the Demon Dragon Clan — the larger dragons came through.

One dark blue. One dark crimson.

Both of them breathing.

The deadly fire wave — Demon Dragon breath, carrying both demon nature and dragon nature fully expressed.

It moved toward Xen Astria.

She stomped.

One foot.

From the ground — a mass of corrupted ice, not a spike, not a wall. Undifferentiated mass called from the depth of the field. Large. Dense. Rising to meet the wave.

It rose.

The fire wave hit the chunk.

The chunk absorbed it.

The edges eaten. The core holding.

The shockwave spread outward.

Xen Astria stepped through the dissipating edge.

Softly.

She was in front of Charo.

---

The punch.

Not standard. Precise. The specific punch of someone who had identified the target and had put it there.

It found Charo's face.

And through the twin bond — both of them.

The same force finding both simultaneously. Not through air. Through the connection that had existed between them since before either of them had a self to connect.

**Chara :** "—"

No sound.

The impact arrived and the sound left with it.

Baaaaam.

The explosion of the hit — the scale of it producing the result.

They went.

Opposite directions.

Charo to the left — the arc of the force, finding the mountain.

Chara to the right — the same arc through the twin bond, the same mountain on the other side.

Two impacts.

Two dust clouds rising from two directions simultaneously.

Xen Astria stood where they had been.

She looked left. She looked right.

**Xen Astria :** "Twin bond. One punch, two impacts."

She breathed.

**Xen Astria :** "I did not know that was what it was until now."

---

Kaizar.

Already in motion.

Already at the location — golden divine pressure preceding him.

His fist. The golden energy gathering.

**Kaizar :** "Divine Drag—"

Blood from his mouth.

He stopped.

He looked at his hands.

His aura had dropped.

Not faded. Dropped. The sudden drop with no gradual transition.

**Kaizar :** "What."

Xen Astria was in front of him.

He had not seen her move.

**Xen Astria :** "Time-delayed punch."

She said it calmly.

**Xen Astria :** "It landed before you registered the arrival. The gap between the landing and your awareness is what I used. The punch was in your stomach before you started gathering for that technique."

She looked at him.

**Xen Astria :** "Which means the technique was already over before it began."

Her hand glowed.

The close-range explosion — divine-corrupted ice at contact distance into the body of the last Angel Dragon.

Kaizar was thrown.

He traveled.

He hit the far edge of the field.

He hit the surface beyond it.

He lay.
