Chapter 63 - I was really sleepy head

ᕙ༼Jay Jay's༽ᕗPOV

Those four days after the boys left had been a blur of recovery and quiet, intense intimacy. Keifer had been a different person—still arrogant, still a "beast" in his own words, but remarkably patient.

He'd spent hours rubbing ointment into my aching thighs, bringing me water before I even asked, and carrying me to the bath as if I were made of glass.

He had literally nursed me back to health after being the one who "broke" me in the first place. But now, as the morning sun hit the bed, that gentle caretaker was being replaced by the possessive man I knew so well.

I climbed onto his back, sitting right on his spine, and started bouncing with all my might.

"Wake up, you lazy robot! You promised! Island walk! Shell hunting! You, me, and zero Section E teasing!"

Keifer didn't even groan. He just let out a low, muffled huff into the pillow, his muscles rippling under me like shifting granite. "Five more minutes, Jay-jay... the bed finally stopped smelling like your brothers' overprotective aura. Let me enjoy it."

"No! You said the sunrise was the best part," I hissed, leaning down to whisper in his ear while tugging on his messy hair. "If you don't get up, I'm going to tell Ci.n you're actually a softie who cuddles a pillow when I'm not looking."

That did it.

In one blur of motion, he flipped. I squealed as I tumbled onto the mattress, but before I could scramble away, he hauled me back against him. He didn't just pull me close; he tucked me firmly against his chest, my back flush against his warm, shirtless skin. His arms were like iron bands, locking around my waist, his large hands resting possessively over my breasts as he nuzzled into the crook of my neck.

"You're a menace first thing in the morning," he rasped, his voice thick with sleep and that gravelly darkness that always made my heart skip. He nipped at the sensitive skin just below my ear, making me shiver. "And you're vibrating. Stop moving before I decide the 'island walk' should just be back and forth across this mattress."

"Keifer!" I gasped, my face heating up as I felt the steady, heavy thrum of his heart against my spine. "You promised. My legs actually work today. Don't ruin the progress."

"They work, do they?" He chuckled, a vibration that went straight through my body. His thumbs traced slow, lazy circles over me, his touch turning from sleepy to dangerously focused. "I don't know. I think I need to do one last 'inspection' to be sure. A medical professional wouldn't want you overexerting yourself."

"You are not a medical professional! You're a thief who stole my ability to walk for three days!" I tried to pry his hands away, but he only squeezed tighter, pulling me so close there wasn't a millimeter of air between us.

"A thief?" He hummed, his breath hot on my skin. "I prefer 'landlord.' I was just checking on my property. And right now, the property is being very loud while I'm trying to appreciate the peace."

But now, as the morning sun hit the bed, that gentle caretaker was being replaced by the possessive man I knew so well.

"Fine," he whispered, pressing a lingering, tender kiss to my forehead. "We'll go. I'll carry the bag, I'll find the shells, and I'll even let you win the race to the shoreline."

I smiled, feeling like I'd won, but Keifer wasn't done. He shifted, his large, warm palms sliding down from my shoulders. His hands began to move in slow, deliberate paths over my skin, tracing the curve of my stomach with a reverent touch. He moved higher, his fingers skimming over my ribs, counting them as if memorizing my structure.

When his hands finally reached my breasts, he didn't just touch them; he cupped them firmly, holding me as if I were his entire world, his anchor to the earth. He buried his face in the crook of my neck, taking a deep, shaky breath, sniffing my skin and the scent of the shampoo we shared. It wasn't just lust; it was like he was marking me, ensuring I was still there, still his.

"You smell like home, jean," he murmured against my pulse point, his voice vibrating deep in his chest. "I could stay right here, under these covers, and never see the sun again as long as I have you."

I felt my heart swell, my hand reaching back to tangle in his hair. For a second, the island walk didn't matter. The shells didn't matter. Only the weight of him did. Then, that wicked, trademark Keifer smirk returned against my skin.

"But the second we get back? I'm breaking you again, Wifey. Consider the walk your warm-up."

"I hate you," I whispered, though I was already leaning in to kiss that arrogant smile off his face.

"Love you too, Jay-jay. Now get your shoes before I change my mind and lock the door."

As we reached The cove was even more breathtaking than Keifer had described. It was a hidden network of crystal-clear lagoons, winding between jagged limestone cliffs and lush palm trees.

The water was so transparent I could see the white sand ripples on the floor, and the whole place felt like a secret world designed just for us.I stood at the edge of one of the natural rock paths, my arms spread wide as I breathed in the fresh, salty air.

(A/N:-friends the scene ➡️)

"Keifer, look at the way the light hits the water! It's like liquid emeralds. I've never seen anything like it."

I turned to see if he was taking a photo or at least looking at the majestic cliffs towering over us. But of course, he wasn't. He was leaning against a nearby palm, his arms crossed over his bare chest, watching me with that heavy, unyielding gaze that always made my pulse erratic.

"The water's nice, Jay," he said, his voice a low hum that seemed to vibrate through the quiet cove. He didn't even blink, his eyes locked onto mine. "But it doesn't compare to the way you look when you're happy. That's the only view I'm interested in today."

"You're impossible," I laughed, feeling my cheeks burn hotter than the tropical sun. "We hiked all this way for a world-class view, and you're wasting it on me?"

He straightened up and walked toward me, his footsteps silent on the sand. He didn't stop until he was inches away, his shadow completely enveloping me.

"It's not a waste if it's my favorite thing to look at."He reached out, his hand sliding into my hair to tilt my head back. "The lagoons are beautiful, sure. But they don't have your eyes. They don't have your smile. I'd rather stare at you in a dark room than look at the most beautiful beach in the world without you in it."

He leaned down, his forehead resting against mine, his scent of sea salt and pure Keifer overwhelming the smell of the tropical flowers. "Now, are you going to keep lecturing me on 'scenery,' or are you going to let me kiss my wife in our own private paradise?"

"I think the scenery can wait," I whispered, reaching up to wrap my arms around his neck.

The water was like warm silk against my skin as we waded into the shallowest part of the lagoon. The sun hit the ripples, sending dancing reflections of light across Keifer's face, and I had to catch my breath.

God, he was handsome.

The way his wet hair was pushed back, the droplets of water clinging to his eyelashes, and the way the light defined every single muscle of his chest—it was almost unfair. He looked like some sort of sea god that had just stepped out of a legend, and he knew it. He watched me as I looked him over, a slow, knowing smirk spreading across his lips.

"Stop staring, Jay," he teased, his voice dropping into that low, gravelly tone that made the water around us feel even warmer. "You're going to give me an ego, and we both know it's big enough already."

"I'm not staring," I lied, splashing a bit of water at his chest. "I'm just... evaluating. Checking to see if the sun is doing you any favors."

He laughed, a rich, dark sound that echoed off the surrounding cliffs. In one quick motion, he lunged forward, catching me by the waist and pulling me flush against his wet skin. I squealed, my hands instinctively landing on his shoulders. He felt so solid, so steady.

"And? What's the verdict, Wifey?" he murmured, his gaze dropping to my lips. He lifted me slightly, so my feet were barely touching the sandy floor, his hands possessive on my hips. "Does the sun pass the test, or do I need to find another way to impress you?"

"You're okay, I guess," I managed to whisper, though my heart was hammering against his chest like a trapped bird.

He hummed, a deep vibration I felt in my bones. "Just 'okay'? I think I need to try harder then." He leaned in, his nose brushing mine, his breath hot against my mouth. "Maybe I should remind you why you were screaming my name three nights ago. Just so you don't forget who you're dealing with."

The humid air of the cove was heavy with the scent of tropical blooms and salt as Keifer's hands rested steadily on my waist.

The waterfall behind me created a shimmering curtain of glass, the spray dusting my skin and sparkling in the light.Keifer's gaze softened, his focus entirely on me, ignoring the breathtaking landscape surrounding the lagoon.

He didn't look away, making it clear that in this private paradise, i were the only thing he cared to see. To him, the beauty of the island was merely a backdrop to the moment i were sharing.

"You have no idea," he rasped, his thumb grazing your side as he pulled you a little closer. "You think the waterfall is the view? Jay, I could stay right here until the sun goes down and never blink."

He lifted me slightly, my movements synchronized with the gentle rush of the falls nearby. The roar of the water created a private world where nothing else mattered but the two of me .

"This place is incredible," he whispered against the shell of your ear, his voice vibrating through you. "But it doesn't compare to being here with you."He tilted his head, his forehead resting against yours as he waited for a smile or a nod, ready to enjoy the peace of the hidden cove.

The private cove became our own silent world, far from the grand halls of the mansion. We didn't need words; the rhythm of the tide against the shore and the distant call of tropical birds were the only soundtrack we required.

The Crystal Water .We drifted into the turquoise shallows, the water so clear it felt like we were floating in liquid glass. Keifer held me close, his strong arms a steady anchor against the gentle pull of the current. The Sun's Glow.As the sun began its slow descent, the sky bled into shades of violet and bruised gold. The light caught the spray of the waterfall, creating tiny, fleeting rainbows that danced over Keifer's skin.

He pulled me onto a smooth, sun-warmed rock jutting out from the sand. I leaned my head against his shoulder, watching the ripples we'd made slowly flatten out. He traced idle patterns on my palm with his thumb, a silent promise that in this hidden sliver of the world, I was the only thing that mattered. The peace of the cove was intoxicating—a perfect, stolen moment of stillness before he eventually scooped me up to lead me back toward the opulence of our new home.

(A/N: -friends the room➡️)

The gold-leafed grandeur of the master suite felt like a different universe compared to the salt-sprayed rocks of the cove. Keifer didn't just walk me into the room; he ushered me in as if I were a queen being restored to her throne.

The air smelled of expensive sandalwood and fresh lilies, the floor under my bare feet as smooth as polished pearl.

"Keifer, this... it's too much," I whispered, my voice caught in my throat as I looked at the ivory silk bed and the massive crystal chandelier overhead. "I can't take this mansion. It's yours, not mine."

He stopped, his hand tightening slightly on my waist. He turned me slowly, forcing me to look into those dark, intense eyes. "You don't understand, love," he rumbled, his voice dropping into that low, dangerous king tone. "Everything I built, every stone of this place, was for you. There is no 'mine' without you. You are my world, the only anchor I have in this life."

He leaned down, his forehead resting against mine. "You're mine, Jean. Only mine. And this home is just the cage for the most precious thing I own."

A Tender TransitionThe transition from the cool cove to the warmth of the bathroom was seamless. The deep emerald marble and gold fixtures caught the soft glow of the recessed lighting.

Keifer moved with a focused, proprietary grace. He took his time drying my skin, the plush towel a soft contrast to the raw power in his hands."I've waited so long to have you here," he murmured, his breath warm against my damp skin as he tucked the towel snugly around my chest.

After a quick, efficient movement to dry himself, he didn't wait for another word. The Bed of Silk and GoldHe scooped me up, carrying me effortlessly to the massive, gold-carved bed that sat like an island in the center of the ivory room.

As he laid me down against the cool silk, the towel fell away, leaving me exposed to his heavy, adoring gaze.He followed me down, his weight a comforting pressure.

His lips found mine in a deep, soul-searing kiss that tasted of the ocean and pure possession. His hands began their slow, rhythmic journey over my body, tracing the curves he knew by heart.

"Do you feel that?" he whispered against my lips, his hand coming to rest over my racing heart. "That's mine. Every beat. I'm going to spend the rest of the time—and the rest of my life—reminding you exactly who you belong to."

Keifer's gaze darkened, his eyes tracking the rise and fall of my chest as I lay back against the silk. He didn't just look at me; he mapped me, his expression full of a terrifying, beautiful hunger.

"Do you have any idea how many times I've pictured you exactly like this?" he growled, his voice dropping an octave as he moved over me. "In my bed. Under my weight. Completely mine."

He leaned down, his forehead resting against mine, his breath a warm ghost across my skin. His hand, large and steady, moved to trace the line of my jaw with a proprietary focus.

"I want to hear you say it," he murmured, his thumb brushing over my lower lip. "I want to hear you tell me who you belong to."

"You," I whispered, the word caught in the back of my throat. "I'm yours, Keifer."

A low sound of approval rumbled in his chest, a dark, satisfied vibration. He shifted his weight, his presence an overwhelming, comforting heat that seemed to anchor me to the silk beneath us. With a slow, deliberate grace, he began to press lingering kisses along my shoulder and the curve of my neck, each one feeling like a silent vow of protection and ownership.

He paused for a moment, his eyes locking onto mine with an intensity that made te rest of the world ffade away.

"May I?"he asked, his voice a rough velvet, seeeking permission even as his gaze claimed every inch of me.

At my soft nod, he lowered his head. I lay there, totally naked, stripped of everything but the silk beneath me and the heat of his presence. In anyone else's house, I would have felt exposed, but under Keifer's heavy, adoring gaze, I felt more secure than I ever had. He was my love, the only peace in my chaotic life, and his eyes told me I was the most precious thing in his world.

he lowered his head. He started with a slow, searing kiss to the peak of my breast, his lips hot and demanding. Then, his mouth closed over me, his tongue swirling in a rhythmic, focused heat that sent a jolt of pure electricity straight to my core.

I gasped, my fingers tangling in his hair as he began to suckle deeply, adding the sharp, possessive sting of a tiny bite that made my toes curl against the silk.

"You're so responsive for me, Jean," he growled against my skin, his voice thick with pride.

"I could spend all day devouring you."The sensation of his warm mouth and the wet glide of his tongue was overwhelming. A needy ache began to pool deep inside me, my body arching instinctively toward his touch, craving more of that heavy, proprietary pressure.

I wanted to stay awake, to feel every bit of the pleasure he was giving me, but the exhaustion of the morning was a heavy tide.

"You're so peaceful when you're with me, Jean," he murmured, his voice thick with affection. "I could stay right here forever, just holding you."The sensation of his closeness and the gentle pressure of his touch was overwhelming in the best way. A sense of deep belonging pooled inside me, my body relaxing instinctively into the ivory pillows.

The way he looked at me made me feel like the sun rose and set just to catch my eye; he was my home before I even knew I was lost.

Then, his mouth closed over me, his tongue swirling in a rhythmic, focused heat that sent a jolt of pure electricity straight to my core.

."The sensation of his warm mouth and the wet glide of his tongue was overwhelming. A needy ache began to pool deep inside me, my body arching instinctively toward his touch.

My mind was screaming at me to stay awake, to wrap my legs around him and give him everything he wanted, but my body had other plans.I was such a total sleepy head.

One second I was arching into his mouth, trying to be a seductive partner, and the next, my head felt like an anchor sinking into the ivory pillows. I tried to blink, to focus on the rugged lines of his face, but my eyelids were losing the battle.

"Don't... don't stop," I mumbled, my voice trailing off into a yawn that ruined my 'femme fatale' moment.A low, warm chuckle vibrated through the air as he shifted, tucking the blankets more securely around me.

"Go to sleep, Jean," he whispered, his voice a soothing balm against the exhaustion. "Your heart wants to stay in this moment, but your eyes are already dreaming."

Despite my best efforts to stay awake and share this time with him, the battle was lost. My attempt at a seductive gaze ended in another long, uncontrollable yawn that had him grinning.

It was impossible to be a femme fatale when my brain was essentially turning into mush.As sleep finally took hold at 10:00 AM, the last thing I felt was the protective weight of his arm draped over me and the steady, rhythmic beat of his heart. It was the only true peace in my messy life, a silent promise of safety.

"Sleep, Jean. I'll be right here when you wake up, making sure you remember exactly where you belong."
