Chapter 62 - Property of Keifer

ᕙ༼Keifer's༽ᕗPOV

The room smelled like a frantic mix of a high-end French perfumery and a sandalwood forest fire. I had spilled so much "Royal" cologne that my lungs were practically singing the anthem, but it was either that or let the scent of our... energetic night hang in the air for her brothers to sniff out.

I looked at Jay Jay. She was drowning in my oversized hoodie, looking like a tiny, peaceful turtle, while underneath that fabric, she was basically a walking map of my possessiveness. Every hickey was a "Property of Keifer" sign that I desperately needed to hide.

Before the chaos, I just stood there looking at her. Jay Jay,my world was still tucked in my arms, looking more beautiful than any sunset I'd ever seen. I leaned down, brushing a stray hair from her forehead. "My queen," I whispered, my voice sounding like mush because I was so whipped.i kiss her close eyes"You're such a sleepy baby, aren't you? My peaceful little princess." I was talking to her like she was a five-pound puppy, completely oblivious to the fact that I was about to fight for my life.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"Keifer? Open up! Why is the hallway smelling like a billionaire's laundry room?"demons (Angelo's) voice boomed from the other side.I froze. If Section E saw us, I'd be teased until the year 3000. If her brothers saw those marks, I wouldn't live to see lunch.

"Coming!" I yelled, my voice cracking like a teenager hit by puberty and fear at the same time. I dove toward the bed, tucking the duvet up to Jay Jay's chin until she looked like a cocoon.

I cracked the door open just an inch. Aries and Angelo were standing there, looking suspicious.

Behind them, I could see the Section E idiots peeking over their shoulders, grinning like they'd already won the lottery.

"What happened? Why is she still sleeping?" Angelo asked, trying to push the door. "It's nearly noon. Is she sick?"

"She's just... uh... very dedicated to her dreams right now," I stammered, blocking his view with my entire body. "Deep sleep. Very deep. Like, tectonic plate-level sleep."

"And what's with the smell?" Aries leaned in, sniffing the air like a bloodhound. "Did you shower in cologne, or did you accidentally kill a perfume salesman in here?"

From the back, Percy and Section E cackled. "Maybe he's trying to mask the scent of 'victory,' boys! Keifer looks like he just ran a marathon while fighting a tiger."

"Shut up, Percy!" I hissed, feeling the sweat bead on my forehead.

"Move, Keifer," Angelo said, his protective brother instincts ramping up to 100%. "I'm checking her temperature."

"No!" I shouted, a bit too loud. "She's... she's sensitive to light! And noise! If you wake her up now, she'll be cranky. You know how she is. She might bite."

Yuri narrowed his eyes at my neck, where a faint scratch was visible.

"Looks like someone already started the biting, Keifer. What's that on your neck? A mosquito with a very specificangry ex-girlfriend' aesthetic?"

The Section E boys erupted into "Ooooohs" and whistles.

"I tripped!" I lied desperately. "Into a... thorny bush. In the dark. While wearing this perfume. It's a very complicated story."

"Right," Angelo muttered, not buying a single word. "Well, tell 'Sleeping Beauty' that that if she's not out in ten minutes, I'm coming in there with a bucket of ice water—and Keifer, if I find one mark on her that doesn't look like a 'thorny bush' accident, you better start praying to whatever God you believe in."

As they walked away, I heard one of the Section E guys whisper loud enough for the whole floor to hear: "Hey Keifer! Next time, try the 'vanilla' scent—it blends better with the smell of 'getting busted'! And hey, tell Jay Jay we like her new 'hoodie'!"

I slammed the door, leaned against it, and exhaled a breath I'd been holding since last night. I looked at Jay Jay, my beautiful queen, still dreaming peacefully, completely unaware that I had just aged ten years and lost several layers of dignity in five minutes.

ᕙ༼jay jay's༽ᕗPOV

I woke up to a blurry mess of movement and the scent of a thousand expensive perfume bottles exploding at once.

The soreness didn't hit all at once. It was a creeping stiffness that tightened as I stretched, a vivid reminder written in my muscles of every way he'd moved me before.

My head was spinning, dreaming of Kuya and Aries pounding on the door, but then I felt Keifer's frantic hands on my shoulders.

"Hoye, beautiful, get up quickly! Your Kuya is coming to check on you in ten minutes!" he whispered-yelled, his face inches from mine before he pecked my cheek.

"What happened, Keifer?" I croaked, still half-lost in my dreams. He leaned in, crushing his lips to mine for a second. "Not now, princess. Now you just have to pretend like we didn't just cross the line... like we didn't do that. You have to look like a normal girl. Baby, please do it for me."

I was so confused until the smell of the room hit me—Sandalwood, vanilla, and that heavy 'Royal' perfume. It smelled like a cover-up. I looked down, realizing I was only wearing his hoodie.

Panic surged as I tried to reach for my bra and panties lying on the floor, but Keifer was faster. He snatched them up, but instead of handing them over, he pulled the collar of the hoodie up.

I was totally naked under his gaze, and he looked at me with a slow, dark smirk that told me he wasn't even a little bit sorry.

He leaned in, kissing my cleavage and then my breasts, his nerve absolutely insane considering my brothers were literally outside.

"Separate your legs, queen," he said, his voice dropping into that deep, shameless tone.

"Again? Are you a robot or something, Keifer?" I groaned, pulling the duvet over my head. "You're such an idiot. My legs are literally like jelly right now."

"Careful now," he murmured. His voice was a low, gravelly hum that vibrated in my chest. He wasn't even under the covers; he was just sitting there, leaning on one hand, watching me with a look that was half-devotion, half-conquest.and out side the door my brother's is waiting to kill him.

He joined our foreheads together, his thumb tracing my jawline. "Close your eyes," he breathed. "I'm not asking for more. I just need to know if you're still sore. You're my woman—I have to make sure you're okay."

"I'm fine," I managed, though my voice was scratchy. He chuckled, a dark, rich sound.

"No, darling. I'm just looking to see if you're okay now or still as sore as before. After all the times we had sex, I need to make sure I didn't break my favorite girl."

His hand slid over my waist, his touch surprisingly gentle compared to the raw heat from before.

"I'm just inspecting my handiwork, Jay," he chuckled darkly, his touch surprisingly soft despite the arrogance in his words. "You were so tight, so loud for me... I had to make sure I didn't push you too far. You're blushing. Do you like it when I remind you exactly who owns those marks?"

"I hate you!" I whimpered, my voice trembling, though I didn't pull away as his fingers traced the most sensitive, aching parts of my inner thighs.

"Don't hide from me," he murmured, prying my hands from the sheets. "I've tasted you, wrecked you, and claimed you. Checking if you're still sore is my right as your man. Now, show me."

"Stay still. I'm just checking the core I spent all night making mine," he commanded with a calm, predatory confidence.

He looked down at me and sighed in relief, "

"Stop squirming, my woman," he rasped, kissing my shoulder as he hooked my bra." I'm dressing you before your brothers bust down the door and actually murder me," he muttered, his hands firm as he guided my legs into my lace. "Our sex session was so loud, I'm honestly shocked they didn't hear you screaming my name from downstairs. You're sore? Tss. Deal with it for five minutes. If I don't get this room looking like a library before they walk in, we're both dead—but mostly me."

"You're lucky I'm a good actress," I muttered, my heart still racing against my ribs.

"I know," he grinned, his shamelessness returning in full force as he tucked the blanket around me. "Now, try to look bored. Like you've been reading a dictionary. Let's see if we can survive this."

"You're a beast," I hissed, making a face at the sting.

"And you're a menace," he shot back, looking wounded.

"I think you actually tried to snap me in half. I'm just as sore as you are, Wifey."I bit my lip to stay quiet.

"Seriously, Jay-jay. You fit me so perfectly it actually hurts. I'm going to be feeling last night for the rest of my life."I patted his face condescendingly.

"Poor baby," I whispered, right as the door clicked open.

In an instant, the playful air vanished. My brother, Kuya Angelo, and Aries stepped into the room.kuya Angelo's eyes immediately swept the area, scanning me from head to toe with that overprotective "Kuya Radar" of his.

I felt Keifer stiffen behind me. When Angelo's gaze landed on him, he dropped a death glare so heavy I'm surprised Keifer didn't spontaneously combust.

"We're leaving," Angelo said shortly, his voice clipped. Aries nodded beside him, looking equally suspicious. We made our way down to the docks. The island sun was bright, reflecting off the water where the boat waited. Every step was a battle. My insides felt... well, occupied. Keifer's "work" had left me so sore that walking felt like moving through waist-deep mud.

Seeing me struggle, Keifer didn't hesitate. He stepped forward and swept me up into a bridal style carry.

"Why are you carrying her? She has legs," Angelo asked, his eyes narrowing as we stood in front of the boat.

"The sun is too hot, Angelo," Keifer lied through his teeth, his voice smooth as silk. "I don't want her getting dizzy before the trip."

I leaned my head against Keifer's shoulder to hide my blush, playing along while I had a quick "sibling talk" with kuya Angelo.

He softened for a moment, leaning in to kiss my forehead.

"Take care of yourself, Jay Jay," he whispered. Then came the hard part. Keifer had to set me down so I could board.

As my feet hit the ground, my legs turned into lead. A sharp cramp shot through my thighs, and I physically couldn't lock my knees. I started to tilt, my face scrunching in a mix of pain and embarrassment.

Ci.n noticed immediately. He let out a low, mischievous whistle, leaning against the railing of the boat. "Wow, Jay Jay. You look like a newborn giraffe trying to walk for the first time. What happened? Did you run a marathon... or did someone just run over you?"I shot Ci.n an annoyed look, but I couldn't even stomp my foot in frustration because it wouldn't move.

Keifer silently reached out, his hand firm as he gripped my waist to steady me. He pulled me flush against his side, forcing me to stand on my toes to ease the cramp.

I looked up at him, ready to scold him, but he was looking down at me with a non-so-cute, smug smile on his handsome face. He knew exactly why I was struggling, and he was enjoying every second of it.

"Easy there," Keifer whispered, his breath hot against my ear. "I've got you. Just try to look 'bored,' remember?"

"You're the worst, Keifer," I hissed, even as I let him guide my feet into my shoes.

"Then stop looking at me like I'm the best thing that ever happened to you," he chuckled, eyes full of dark mischief.

Before we boarded, Kuya Angelo stepped toward me, his expression finally softening from the 'overprotective brother' mode.

He reached out, tucking a stray hair behind my ear."You really want to stay here for a few more days, Jay Jay?" he asked, his voice low and gentle.

"I do, Kuya. It's so peaceful," I lied, trying to ignore the fact that my knees were literally wobbling.kuya sighed, glancing back at the rest of the group.

"Well, I'm only letting you stay because Section E insisted. They said they weren't done with their 'team bonding' yet. Just... try not to get into too much trouble, okay?"

"I promise," I said, giving him my best innocent smile. He leaned down and pressed a warm kiss on my forehead, a silent gesture of his protection.

"Take care of her, Keifer. If she has so much as a scratch when I come back, you're dead."

"With my life, Angelo," Keifer replied, though his hand squeezed my waist .

As the boat carrying the older boys pulled away, a wave of excitement washed over me. Finally! It was just me, Keifer, and our chaotic group of friends. But that excitement turned into immediate dread when I turned around to see Section E lined up like a jury, all of them wearing identical mischievous grins.

"So..." Rory started, crossing his arms. "The sun is too hot, huh? Since when did you become a porcelain doll, Jay Jay?"

"Yeah," Adrix chimed in, leaning against a crate. "I've seen you hike mountains, but suddenly you can't walk ten feet to a boat?"

Felix and Calix exchanged a look, snickering. "Maybe she just forgot how legs work," Calix teased. "Or maybe someone wore them out."

"Look at her," David pointed out, laughing as I stumbled slightly. "She's shaking like a leaf. You okay there, Jay Jay? Need a wheelchair?"

Iren and Calix were already whispering to their girlfriends, while Eman and Kit started making exaggerated 'limping' motions behind my back.

"Leave her alone," Keifer said, though he wasn't doing anything to hide his own grin.

"Oh, shut up, Keifer," Mayo barked, pointing a finger at him. "We saw that 'heroic' bridal carry. Very dramatic. 10/10 for the performance."

Eren leaned in close, whispering just loud enough for everyone to hear. "I didn't know the library had such heavy books. Must have been a real workout."

"Seriously," Raki added, glancing at my shaky knees. "You look like you've been through a war zone."I felt my face heat up until I was sure I was glowing red.

Mica just winked at me, clearly enjoying my suffering. I tried to glare at them, but it's hard to look intimidating when you're clinging to your boyfriend's arm just to stay vertical.

"I'm just... tired!" I shouted, which only made them laugh harder.

"Tired? Or 'exhausted'?" Adrix yelled back as we started heading toward the villa.

"Must have been a real workout."

The dinner table was pure chaos. Section E had officially lost all sense of "indirect" teasing, and with Keifer basically admitting to the crime, the floodgates were wide open.

Adrix was practically vibrating with laughter. "Keifer, man, I hope you have a good lawyer. Because what you did to Jay Jay's legs is definitely a violation of human rights. Or at least a violation of the furniture!"

"Furniture?" Ci.n howled, leaning over toward Raki. "Baby, remind me to never let Keifer borrow our couch. I don't want it returning with broken springs and a 'property of Keifer' tag on it."Raki just giggled, poking Ci.n's cheek. "Don't act all tough, Ci.n. You're just jealous Keifer actually has the stamina to make someone's legs quit. You usually fall asleep halfway through a movie."

"Ouch!" the table roared.Calix turned to Mica, smirking. "See? This is why I'm 'rough' too, right baby? I've got to keep up with the President's standards."

Mica rolled her eyes, taking a calm bite of her food. "Calix, honey, you're 'rough' like a wet paper towel. Keifer's the one who actually needs to buy Jay Jay a wheelchair."

"A wheelchair? He needs to buy her a new soul!" Felix shouted.Freya nudged Adrix, her eyes dancing with mischief. "Maybe we should start a GoFundMe for Jay Jay's recovery. 'Legs for Jay Jay.' Though, looking at her face, I don't think she's actually complaining about the damage.

"Mayo leaned his head on Kit's shoulder, sighing dramatically. "I don't know, Kit. We should take notes. Apparently, the secret to a 'team bonding' session is just pinning someone to a library shelf until they forget how to use their knees."

Kit snickered, squeezing Mayo's hand. "I'm not sure the library could handle us, Mayo. We'd probably knock over three aisles before we even got started."

"Exactly!" Eren added, pointing a chopstick at you. "Jay Jay, was it worth it? Or did you just spend the whole time wondering if your insurance covers 'Keifer-related' structural failure?"

i finally had enough. I slammed my hands on the table—carefully, because my arms were a bit shaky too—and glared at them. "You guys are obsessed! Can we just eat without discussing the physics of my leg cramps?"

"Physics?" Ci.n laughed, wiping a tear from his eye. "Jay Jay, that wasn't physics. That was a demolition. You're not 'tired,' you're uninstalled."

Keifer's hand moved even higher on my thigh, a silent, possessive claim that made my toes curl. He leaned in, his voice low but loud enough for the whole rowdy group to hear. "If you guys are so curious about the 'physics,' why don't you go find your own libraries? This one is strictly reserved."

The whistling reached a deafening level. Mica leaned in and whispered to you, "Don't worry, girl. We'll save some dessert for you. If you can even lift your spoon.

when the teasing at the dining table got too much, he hadn't just stood up; he had claimed the room. He didn't care that Section E was howling or that my face was the color of a hibiscus. He had just scooped me up in that effortless bridal carry, his arms like iron bands around me, and walked straight to our cottage without looking back.

Once the door clicked shut, the world outside disappeared. He was so careful with me. The way he stripped me down wasn't about lust—it was about worship. He saw how much I was struggling to stand, and his expression shifted from that playful smirk to something deep, dark, and intensely protective.

I took a deep breath, the scent of Keifer's laundry detergent and his natural musk filling my lungs. Being wrapped in his hoodie while being completely naked underneath made me feel small, but in the best way possible—like I was his best-kept secret.

Now, tucked against his chest, I felt the vibration of his voice again.

"You feel so warm, Jean," he murmured, his arms tightening around me. "Having you like this, skin-to-skin under my clothes... it's beautiful. I can feel your heart beating against mine."

I shifted, my bare legs tangling with his denim-clad ones. "You're going to make me spoiled, Keifer. I won't want to walk on my own ever again if you keep this up."He chuckled, the sound low and gravelly near my ear.

"Good. Then I'll just have to carry you everywhere. Let everyone see that you're taken care of." He kissed my temple, his hand sliding under the hoodie to rest flat against the small of my back.

"Go to sleep, my girl. I'm not going Happy birthday again my wifey."I closed my eyes, sinking into the safety of his hold, knowing that as long as I was in this room, in his arms, nothing else mattered.
