Chapter 79 - Chapter 79 - The prophecy Revealed

The grand hall of the Red Moon Pack mansion was silent, the air electric with tension. Hazel stood beside Ryan, her Luna aura glowing faintly, her Devourer energy thrumming beneath her calm exterior. She knew this meeting was more than a formality—Lucifer's gaze pierced her like a knife.

"You are no ordinary being," Lucifer's voice echoed through the hall, commanding yet measured. "Your aura… your Devourer energy… it is unlike anything I've felt before."

Hazel's pulse quickened, but she did not flinch. Ryan's hand rested lightly on her back, grounding her, giving her courage.

Lucifer closed his eyes for a moment, tapping into powers only a father and ancient Alpha could wield. Slowly, he traced Hazel's aura, sensing her lineage, her strengths, her hidden potential. His dark eyes snapped open, widening slightly.

"The Eclipse Heir prophecy," he muttered, his voice low but tense. "The Book of the Damned… it speaks of a child from all sides—human, wolf, vampire—bound to a descendant of the Eclipse line. That child… is you."

Hazel's eyes widened. "Me?" she whispered.

Veronica stepped forward, her expression softening. "Yes, Hazel. The prophecy is true. You carry power from all sides, but more importantly… your connection to Ryan aligns with what was foretold."

Ryan's lips pressed against Hazel's temple in a subtle, possessive gesture. "You're mine," he murmured, low and dangerous. "Every piece of you belongs to me."

From the corner, Mila's eyes blazed with fury. She had expected challenges, yes, but never this revelation. She stepped forward, her tone deceptively calm.

"You can't accept her!" Mila hissed, her voice sharp. "She may carry the prophecy, but she's inexperienced, untested! You—you—shouldn't endorse her as the Luna, Lucifer!"

Lucifer's dark aura flared, a wave of raw power pushing Hazel slightly back. "Silence," he commanded, voice cold and absolute. "Do not speak unless spoken to."

Mila smirked, undeterred. "I won't be silenced! I see what you can't. Accepting her will destabilize everything—she is too dangerous, too impulsive. She may have power, but she does not understand control!"

Hazel's hands balled into fists. She wanted to strike Mila, to show her that strength without loyalty was meaningless. Ryan's hand tightened around her waist, channeling a quiet warning through their bond.

Lucifer's dark eyes narrowed, and for a long moment, the room was still—every heartbeat, every breath suspended in anticipation.

Finally, his voice rang out, low and dangerous: "Mila… you have overstepped. You dared to oppose me? To manipulate my judgment?"

Mila's smirk faltered slightly, but she stood tall. "I… I only—"

"Enough!" Lucifer's aura exploded like a storm. Hazel could feel it reverberate through her bones. "You will answer for this. Soon."

Ryan stepped forward, his dark presence flaring protectively around Hazel. "Do what you must," he said, eyes locked on Lucifer. "But Hazel belongs to me. And no one—no witch, no rogue, no one—will change that."

Lucifer's gaze shifted to Hazel, then back to Mila. "You will learn your place… and you will regret testing me."

Mila's eyes flashed with anger, but even she knew she had crossed the line. The prophecy was real. Hazel was the Eclipse Heir, and nothing—no deception, no scheme—could alter that truth.

Hazel's cheeks burned as Veronica stepped closer, placing a gentle hand on her shoulder. "You are more than you realize, my dear," she whispered, soft and warm, causing Hazel to glance down in embarrassment.

Ryan's lips brushed her temple again, possessive and reassuring. "Mine," he murmured, a promise and a warning all at once.

The tension had not broken, but Hazel knew one thing: she was no longer just a student or a guest in the Red Moon Pack. She was the Eclipse Heir, the Luna, and Ryan's mate—and no one, not even Mila, could take that away.
