[CAIUS POV]
'M-Mate with her?!' I all but spluttered the words. 'Have you gone mad?'
'She is our mate,' Atlas said, and I could already imagine him shrugging nonchalantly. 'It's sort of in the name, isn't it?'
'She is also our half-sister,' I said through gritted teeth. 'I know you're an animal, but I am a civilized human.' I could already picture the image of Atlas raising an eyebrow. I added, 'Sort of.'
The bark of laughter that Atlas let out was so loud that it caused several birds to flee from the trees.
'You? Civilized?' Atlas said, chortling as though he had just heard the funniest joke of the century. 'Don't make me laugh. What you have done with Yvette is anything but civilized. Unlike you, I would rather not sleep around with random women, especially when our mate is already found and nearby.'
