Chu Yao looked them over again, but still couldn't see anything wrong with them. When Lu Xize came out of the bathroom, she couldn't wait to ask him.
"Brother Lu, what's wrong with them?"
Lu Xize was quick in the shower, taking no more than ten minutes. His hair was dripping wet, and his bathrobe was tied loosely around him.
He didn't answer Chu Yao's question right away. He unhurriedly dried his hair with a towel, slowly sat on the edge of the bed, and tossed the white towel aside. His dark eyes swept over Chu Yao before landing on the scripts.
His slender fingers tapped gently on one of them. "The character relationships are a mess."
"A mess?"
Chu Yao picked it up and flipped through it. It was a big-budget historical drama with a dual female lead premise.
The plot was full of twists and turns, and with so many characters, the relationships between them were certainly complex. 'But that doesn't mean they're a mess, does it?'
Chu Yao frowned. "Then what about this one?"
