Chu Yao looked at the phone in her hand, then at Lu Xize's gloomy face. She blinked, seeming to realize something, but she also felt it was a bit of an overreaction.
She cautiously edged closer. "Lu Xize, are you jealous?"
Lu Xize shot her a sidelong glance. "Yeah."
'Yeah! He actually said yeah?'
Chu Yao was floored. 'Can you be for real? You're jealous of a woman?'
Chu Yao pouted at Lu Xize, her face full of disdain.
'What a jealous man.'
'What happened to being cool and aloof? What happened to the great young master who supposedly looks down on everyone?'
'Liar. It was all a lie.'
Bending to his tyrannical will, Chu Yao still memorized Lu Xize's number by heart before leaving the villa.
They didn't stay at the villa that night, returning instead to Chu Yao's apartment. But the very next day, the moment Chu Yao left for the film set, Lu Xize called people over to start moving her things.
