And so, the matter dragged on until recently, when the Dragon Race finally dispatched several powerful members with experience traveling the human world to find Ling Xiao. This had nothing to do with the Demon Race's invasion.
The old man beside Ling Xiao was one of the Dragon Race's Elders. In terms of strength, compared to human Martial Artists, he had already surpassed the realm of a Tier Six Sword Venerable! He was nearly on par with a low-tier Sword Saint. Among Magical Beasts, monstrous existences like the Deep Sea Demon Chapter of old, whose cultivation far surpassed that of a Sword Saint, were ultimately a rarity.
But overall, the average strength of the Dragon Race was still utterly terrifying.
The Dragon Race, the Elf Race, the Sea Race, and other such non-human races also had the opportunity to ascend to the Holy Sanctuary. However, their standards for entering the Holy Sanctuary were much higher than those for humans.
