Jingyue sat quietly, concentrating hard. Last time had been a mistake, which was why Elder Xuanwu managed to get a bite in. Otherwise, Sweet Potato wouldn't have been bitten.
Duan Qiao, meanwhile, sat nonchalantly on the ground. 'Days without the Great Demon are so relaxing.'
'I really hope days like these last a little longer.'
'Fishing for little things now and then is especially fun. A Spirit Fruit here, a Magical Treasure there... one or two of them are bound to be useful.'
'All things considered, it's actually quite wealthy.'
'Of course, it can't compare to the Great Demon. He can casually pick up something priceless, but he always looks down on it.'
'And don't even get me started on the things on the balcony. Not a single one is ordinary; they're all treasures that would cause a major fight.'
Even Sweet Potato could start a fight—a fight among the Four Holy Beasts, naturally.
After all, he was the shame of the Four Holy Beasts.
