Wyatt Hawthorne's thoughts were clear, yet he still made the call. "Special Assistant Shaw, keep sending people to look for Finn."
On the other end of the line, Simon Shaw asked hesitantly, "We've found Finn and Miss Faye Vaughn in the old town. Should we bring Miss Faye Vaughn back as well?"
Wyatt Hawthorne's voice was indifferent. "That won't be necessary. Pay her no mind."
"Yes, President Hawthorne."
After hanging up, Wyatt Hawthorne's dark eyes grew somber.
He turned to look out the car window. The Kingsmark scenery was the same as always—skyscrapers piercing through a gray, hazy fog, casting a gloomy pall over everything.

A gurgling stream ran along one side of the path, with shops lining the other.

Faye Vaughn pointed to a small stall selling fried stinky tofu.
