During the hot pot meal, Faye Vaughn ate a lot, while Finn Hawthorne ate little.
His fever had broken, but everything tasted bland, and he didn't have much of an appetite.
"Could we get a mango pomelo sago, please?" Faye Vaughn said to the server, setting down her chopsticks. She was more or less full.
"You're still not full?" Finn Hawthorne teased her. "You little piggy."
Faye Vaughn ignored him.
When the server brought the dessert, she pushed it in front of him. "You should try it. Sweeten your palate a bit."
She'd had fevers before, so she knew you couldn't really eat much after one broke.
He had been the one clamoring for hot pot, but now that they were here, he'd barely picked up his chopsticks the entire time.
"Alright." Finn Hawthorne picked up the small spoon and took a bite. "Mmm," he hummed. "Not as sweet as my girlfriend."
"Such a smooth talker," Faye Vaughn muttered.
