"Lawyer Hawthorne, what do you think?" Faye Vaughn didn't give Vincent Hawthorne a chance to escape, pressing him for an answer.

Before Vincent Hawthorne could speak, Vivian Windsor clutched her stomach and bit her lip. "My stomach hurts. I wonder if it's from the alcohol earlier..."
Faye Vaughn glanced at Vivian Windsor, a faint smile playing on her lips.
'Starting to fake an illness already?'
'Is this how she's been manipulating Vincent Hawthorne all these years?'
"I have the stomach medicine you usually take in the car." Vincent Hawthorne pulled over and skillfully retrieved the pills from the glove compartment.
"It's a good thing you always keep it on hand for me." Vivian Windsor pressed a hand to her stomach, her brow furrowed in discomfort. "But I still want to go to the hospital to get it checked out. Otherwise, I won't be able to sleep tonight."
"Okay, we'll go to the hospital now."
