Aeron froze for a moment.
He reached up and gently touched his own cheek.
'Is this what it feels like for your heart to melt?' At that moment, Aeron couldn't help but break into a silly grin. "Hehe, my sweetheart is so good to me. I even got a kiss. Your Uncle Aeron will never want to wipe his face again." As he spoke, he looked at Nerida and pointed to his cheek. "See that? Our Ellie kissed me. You didn't get a kiss, wife."
"Oh, I'm so jealous! Ellie, you kissed your Uncle Aeron but not me. I want a kiss too! Come on, I want one too." As she spoke, Nerida leaned her face right in. "I want one too, sweetie."
