Chapter 90 – Path to become a God King
The Agila tore through the upper atmosphere, a streak of silver and gold that left a wake of prismatic clouds behind it. Within the opulent bridge of the dreadnought, the atmosphere was a strange mix of divine majesty and intimate domesticity. The world below might have been trembling at the birth of a new Goddess, but inside the ship, the Sovereign's inner circle was simply finding its new rhythm.
Bibi Dong sat upon a throne of obsidian silk, her every movement radiating a weight that made the ship's gravity stabilizers work overtime. Lakan stood beside her, his hand resting casually on her shoulder, his fingers tracing the edge of her Liquid Purple Thunder mantle.
"You're vibrating, Dong'er," Lakan noted with a playful smirk. "The Whale King's energy is settle-able, but your law is still searching for its ceiling."
Bibi Dong leaned her head back, looking up at him with eyes that held the depth of the midnight ocean. "It's the Rakshasa's legacy, Lakan. It was a 1st Class Godhood, but I feel... cramped. Like a titan trying to live in a dollhouse. The power you gave me—the Whale King's essence and this Sub-Dantian—it's pushing against the boundaries of what a 1st Class God is supposed to be."
Lakan nodded, his expression turning thoughtful. "That's because you aren't a 1st Class God anymore, at least not in potential. You've surpassed the old Rakshasa. But to reach the God-King level—Rank 150 and beyond—you need to complete the Final Convergence. Right now, you have the engine of a God-King but the anchor of a 1st Class God."
"The Final Convergence?" Shui Bing'er asked, walking over with a tray of spirit-tea, her twelve wings folded neatly behind her. Zhu Zhuqing followed, her movements so silent she seemed to merge with the shadows of the floor.
"It's about the Bridge," Lakan explained, gesturing to the swirling Chaos Qi in the center of the room. "The old Rakshasa Law was about Slaughter and Corruption. The Whale King's Law is about the Deep and Crushing Pressure. To become the Empress of the Abyssal Void, you have to fuse them perfectly. You need to turn the Slaughter into Absolute Judgment and the Deep into
The Silence of the Grave. And for that..." He leaned down, whispering into Bibi Dong's ear, "...we're going to need a lot more of those Secret Sessions. My Chaos Qi is the only thing that can catalyze a fusion of that magnitude without breaking your soul."
Lakan has been thinking about it for a long time now. In the Original Timeline, it was said that Rakshasa and Asura Ascended at the same time, bearing the same Law–Slaughter– but holds the different Aspect of it. Killing Intent and the Corruption.
So then, how did Asura became a God King and Raksahsa didn't, despite Ascending at the same and wields the same Concept(but different aspect)? Simple, because Asura took the same path as the Original cast on Douluo Dalu 4. By combining the Law of Judgment with his Slaughter Killing Intent. Asura not only became a God King, but also became the Judge, Jury, and Executioner of the Divine Realm who's role is SupposedToBe to Uphold the Law of the Order of the Divine Realm, and one of the three enforcers of the Divine Realm alongside Destruction and Life.
But well, to someone like Lakan who knows the story, he knows that it wasn't the case. As the length Asura would go through just to ensure his beloved Inheritor will dominate and Ascend, he would break as many Rule as necessary.
But right now, through Lakan's Chaos Qi, Bibi Dong would do the same as Asura did. She will combine the Law of Slaughter(Corruption) with the Law of the Deep from the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King, by fusing the two Law, it will create a new Law. The Law of the Abyss.
By doing this, Bibi Dong will be able to evolve the First Class God Position of Rakshasa into the God King of the Abyss.
Bibi Dong's lips curved into a dangerous, beautiful smile. "I suppose I'll have to make time in my schedule for the Sovereign's counseling then."
"Hey! Don't forget about us!" a high-pitched, squeaky voice interrupted.
Tianmeng, the Ice Silk Worm, popped out of Bing'er's hair, looking like a glowing gold marshmallow with eyes. He stared across the room at the corner where the Deep Sea Demonic Whale King stood. The Whale King, now a three-meter-tall basalt warrior, was staring out the window with his single violet eye, his World-Breaker's Spine harpoon resting against the wall.
Tianmeng drifted toward the giant warrior, circling his massive, muscular arm. "Look at you! You're so... solid! And purple! Is that what happens when we go through Lakan's '
God-Maker machine? I'm going to look so handsome when Bing'er reaches Rank 100!"
The Whale King looked down at the tiny worm, his expression stoic. "You are small, silk-worm. But your mouth is... loud."
"Loud?! I'm charismatic!" Tianmeng huffed, puffing out his chest. "Just wait until we find my Bing Bing—the Ice Jade Scorpion King. When she becomes a Soul Spirit, we're going to be the most powerful couple in the God Realm! We'll have a little ice-palace, and I'll give her all the mental-attribute snacks she wants. Lakan, you promised! You said she'd get someone with Godly potential!"
Lakan laughed, flicking Tianmeng across the room. "I did. And look around you, Tianmeng. You're currently on a ship with a Sovereign, an Empress of the Abyss, and two future Goddesses of Ice and Shadow. I think the 'potential' department is well-covered."
The ship suddenly shuddered, not from turbulence, but from a shift in the sea's aura. The air outside the windows turned a deep, holy blue. They had crossed the threshold of the Sea God's Domain.
"We're here," Zhu Zhuqing whispered, her panther spirit manifesting behind her, its eyes fixed on the horizon.
In the distance, the Sea God Island emerged from the mist like a crown of emerald and sapphire. But as the Agila approached, the island's defenses roared to life. This was the Sacred Harbour, protected by the Seven Sacred Pillars.
The moment the dreadnought's shadow touched the holy waters, seven beams of blinding, divine blue energy erupted from the pillars. These were the Sea God's Wrath, designed to vaporize any intruder, even a Titled Douluo.
CRACK-BOOM!
The beams slammed into the Agila's hull, but they didn't explode. Lakan stood at the pilot-pillar, his Law-Mirror glowing. The ship's silver plating rippled like water, absorbing the divine energy and funneled it directly into the Seven-Tone Lotus Core at the ship's center.
"The Sea God is trying to say 'No,'" Lakan smirked, his eyes flashing silver. "But the Sovereign doesn't take No for an answer. Agila... stabilize. Divert the absorbed energy to the main speakers. I want the whole island to hear us."
The Agila descended slowly, its massive mechanical wings creating a hurricane-force wind that pushed the sacred waters aside. It didn't land at the docks; it hovered directly over the Sea God Temple, looking down upon the holy site like a predator.
Below, the Seven Sacred Pillar Guardians were in a state of panic, their hammers and tridents raised in a futile gesture. And standing at the entrance of the temple was a woman in long, flowing blue robes—Bo Saixi. Her face, usually a mask of calm divinity, was etched with a look of pure, unadulterated shock.
She wasn't looking at the ship. She was looking at the figure standing on the prow.
"A God..." Bo Saixi whispered, her scepter trembling. "A living God has come to the island."
Lakan stepped forward, the wind tossing his hair. Beside him, Bibi Dong flared her Abyssal aura, her purple thunder mantle crackling so loudly it drowned out the sound of the surf.
"Bo Saixi!" Lakan's voice boomed, amplified by the ship's resonance. "Tell Poseidon to put down his trident. The Calibration has arrived. And tell the Shrek brats to stay in their rooms—the grown-ups are talking now."
Far below, near the outskirts of the harbor, a group of young soul masters stood watching the sky. Among them was Tang San, his face pale as he clutched the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud. Beside him, Ma Hongjun was shaking, his Evil-Fire Phoenix cowering within his soul. Bai Chenxiang, the speed-attribute master of the Min Sect and Hongjun's future wife, clung to the fatty's arm, her eyes wide with terror as she looked at the silver dreadnought.
"San-ge..." Hongjun stammered. "Tell me that's not... him."
Tang San didn't answer. He couldn't. He looked at the ship, then at the purple lightning dancing in the sky, and realized that his Godly Trial had just become a nightmare.
The Agila's landing struts extended, locking onto the sacred stone of the harbor with a heavy, final thud. The Sovereign had arrived at the Sea God's doorstep.
