"Jiang Ye."

"This guy actually surpassed Yan Yi?" Kidd exclaimed in disbelief. "Yan Yi? He's the Heavenly Fire Civilization's invincible dao bone!"

Yan Yi was the Heavenly Fire Civilization's top genius. His reputation was so widespread that even Kidd of the Fire Ember Civilization had heard of him.

"He even surpassed Yan Yi?" Kidd was astonished. "Is his strength really that formidable?"

How long had he been in the Star Realm Sea? Yet he'd already killed over a hundred people.

He's slaughtering them like flies!

"Maybe it's just luck?" the red-haired youth ventured. "Perhaps he's only encountered late-stage third breakthrough opponents."

Kidd shook his head, about to reply.

Suddenly, a vibration came from his communication wristband.

"Hmm?"

"It's Ji Bei?" Kidd's gaze sharpened.

The Fire Ember Civilization's technology was advanced enough to transmit information across planetary distances.

Beep! Kidd answered the call.

Whoosh! A massive surge of light converged within the mountain cave, coalescing into the figure of a white-robed youth.

The youth stood tall and exuded a formidable aura, three striking crimson-gold brands emblazoned on his forehead.

"Ji Bei," Kidd said, frowning. "Why are you calling me?"

The other party was in Area 015, not the same region as Kidd.

"Kidd," Ji Bei replied, his voice smooth. "That Blue Star Genius you failed to kill last time is now in my area."

"Oh?" Kidd's eyes flashed. "Are you planning to make a move on him?"

"Whether I act depends on your performance, Kidd," Ji Bei said with a faint smile. "You must want him dead even more than I do, right?"

"Hmph."

"Ji Bei, I advise you not to overestimate yourself," Kidd sneered. "That Blue Star Genius possesses an invincible dao bone. You stand no chance against him."

"Trying to provoke me?" Ji Bei said calmly. "It won't work."

"However," he added with a faint smile, "if that Blue Star Genius dares to venture into my territory—the Black Coast region—I wouldn't mind eliminating him."

"Kidd, watch closely," Ji Bei said with a faint smile. "See how I crush the Blue Star genius who sent you fleeing in terror."

Kidd scoffed.

"Ji Bei, you may have reached the quasi-fourth breakthrough," Kidd said coldly, "but even fourth-tier treasures couldn't stop that Blue Star genius. You stand no chance against him."

"Heh."

"Kidd, you've truly been frightened out of your wits by the enemy, bringing shame to the Fire Ember Civilization," Ji Bei said, shaking his head. "Enough wasting time on a weakling like you."

"Just wait," Ji Bei said with a confident smile. "I'll soon claim his bounty spot."

The communication ended.

The coldness on Kidd's face vanished, replaced by a faint smile.

Beside him, a red-haired youth looked at him in confusion. "Kidd, do you really think Ji Bei can't defeat that Blue Star genius?"

"Ji Bei is only one step away from the fourth breakthrough, and more importantly, he possesses four innate abilities!" the youth said with a grave expression.

In their civilization, Ji Bei was considered an exceptionally powerful genius.

"So what if he has four innate abilities?" Kidd shook his head. "He still doesn't possess an invincible dao bone."

In the Fire Ember Civilization, Ji Bei's innate talent was indeed among the top tier of dao bones, surpassing even Kidd and Rosen. However, he still fell short of the invincible dao bone standard.

The criteria for an invincible dao bone was combat prowess, not merely the number of innate abilities. Even with just two innate abilities, if one's combat power met the threshold, it qualified as an invincible dao bone—though such cases were exceedingly rare.

As for Ji Bei, his last evaluation failed to meet the invincible dao bone criteria.

Ji Bei? I hope that Blue Star genius kills him too, Kidd thought to himself. That would eliminate another competitor.

First Star Ring, Area 016.

Amidst the ruins of a fierce battle, a gloomy youth with pitch-black skin and a vertical eye mark on his forehead withdrew his longsword from the chest of a Blue Star genius.

"Blue Star People?"

"Too bad, it's not him." The youth slowly shook his head, a hint of regret in his voice.

Beep! He activated the ranking projection.

His dark eyes fixed on the name ranked third.

"Jiang Ye."

"Several geniuses from my Black Abyss Civilization have fallen by this man's hand," the gloomy youth said, his eyes turning cold.

The Black Abyss Civilization, though only a 0.9-Tier Civilization, was currently engaged in a costly war with another civilization. The death of each genius represented a significant loss.

"He seems to possess a Fifth-Tier Upper A-Grade Opportunity and a Fourth-Tier A-Grade Opportunity," the gloomy youth mused. "I hope he keeps them safe for me."

"These rightfully belong to the Black Abyss Civilization. I, Hei Ming, will personally reclaim them."

Area 015.

In the Star Realm Sea, there was no night.

The sky remained perpetually gray, with mysterious light filtering through the mist to illuminate the vast, desolate land.

Whoosh! A beam of light pierced through the boundless expanse.

"The Black Coast!"

"Finally, we've arrived," Jiang Ye murmured, gazing ahead.

He could already make out the dark, desolate land and the still, black sea, devoid of waves.

"Perceptive Insight," Jiang Ye muttered, his eyes flashing with a brilliant light as he focused his gaze forward.

Instantly, the dark land and black sea before him transformed. Radiant lines of light materialized, revealing countless opportunities hidden within.

"So many opportunities..."

"But they're all immature?" Jiang Ye observed. The light remained restrained, a clear sign that the opportunity hadn't yet ripened.

"Where's the civilization key?" Jiang Ye scanned his surroundings.

Soon, his gaze settled on a distant stretch of sea.

Though the Black Coast lay at least several dozen miles away, Jiang Ye's extraordinary vision allowed him to see it clearly.

Along the black shoreline, a massive energy barrier sealed off the coast.

Through the barrier, he could glimpse a colossal shadow moving beneath the dark waters, as if some immense creature were slowly swimming beneath the surface.

Just as the shadow vanished,

Buzz! A blinding beam of light erupted, nearly searing Jiang Ye's eyes.

Hiss.

"Such intense light..."

"Even in its immature state, it's this astonishing?" Jiang Ye marveled inwardly.

He instinctively surmised that this must be the civilization key. Even if not, it was undoubtedly an opportunity of Third-Tier A-Grade or higher.

"Just as that foreign race said earlier," Jiang Ye murmured, observing the barrier ahead. "The Black Coast hasn't opened yet. We might have to wait another half-month."
