The hole leading to B3 is a kilometer away from them. B2 is different from B1, this floor have more pipping systems. Broken pipes and valves are seen everywhere on the floor. The two start noticing the virus substances here begun glowing faint cyan lights, meaning there are corrupt splinters in here. Humps here would also sometimes glow cyan lights rather than purple lights.
They could also see large buildings sinking into the deeper parts of the car park, which are the buildings that fell into the hole when the hole is made.
Havoc looked at the surroundings with his flash drive head stuck out of the slot 3's hatch. He stared at the humps and the pipes that have steam leaking out of them. Albur pushed him back into the slot to prevent him from slipping out.
"It's funny how the holes are separated far away from each other." Havoc said.
"They are probably holes created by natural collapsing." Albur responded in annoyance.
"I couldn't even munch a hole on the floor using my powers. Or else it might collapse this place or, whatever Rhea said."
"It's best not to."
"Ask her."
"No."
Havoc used his virus powers and snatched Albur's walkie talkie from his pocket. He pressed the walkie talkie's talk button.
"Yo, cyborg girl."
"Wh-....ugh.....Havoc...what?"
"Nothing, just wanna ask, why can't we just drill holes or....."
"You know the reason."
"I wanna ask, its fun."
"Shut up."
"Wait, yeah, why exactly?"
"(sighs) Like I said, this place is very fragile, there's even boulders above your head. Damaging the structure would make the structure collapse and the boulders will fall and crush you. Plus, this car park is super deep, for some reason, B6 and B7 wasn't filled up by the government yet. There is a risk there is underground water around there, if they flow into the car park and fill up the whole place, the water pressure would crush you into pieces not even Covie can fully revive you."
"I see."
Just then, something ran pass Mysty super quickly. Mysty flinched and pointed her pistols around, shining the flash light's light around her.
"What....what is that?"
Albur turned around,
"What?"
"What?"
Mysty held reached to her walkie talkie.
"I think I saw something...."
Albur looked around him, he saw nothing.
"There's nothing here."
Mysty slowly lowered her pistol, and wrapped her arms around her.
'What is happening to me?' she thought to herself.
Albur continued to walk, suddenly, something ran pass him as well. Albur paused, and turned to his left. That thing ran pass him again, he flinched, and tried to reach for his rifle, but struggled for seconds to get it.
"What is that?"
Mysty looked at him.
"You saw it too?"
Albur gently nodded.
"Something fast, and small....."
"What's happening?" asked Rhea.
"I think there is something down here."
Mysty shone her flashlight around, and held one of her pistols in her hands. She removed the grapple hook hiking stick from the metal frame on her right pistol and put her flashlight on it. She held two of the pistols and looked around cautiously.
Albur aimed his rifle around, using the flashlight on his watch to see where he shoots. Mysty stepped forward a little, closer to Albur.
Then, Albur heard rapid rustling sounds, Mysty heard that as well.
"Defensive positions..."
They aimed their weapons around in the messy, dusty car park. The rustling sounds became louder and more frequent. Havoc scanned the surrounding, then, he spotted something in the dark.
"In front of you, kid!"
Albur pointed his rifle forwards, Mysty turned to the direction Albur is facing towards. The rustling sound got louder, and louder. Then, something emerged from the dark.
A tiny little creature entered the range of Albur's flashlight, revealing itself. Albur stared at it, confused. Mysty slowly peeked at it, but her guard was let down when she sees it.
Its a tiny little creature with a body made out of rocks. It is around 50 centimeters big. It have a mouth that have small sharp teeth and a sharp tongue sticking out of its mouth. It has 5 tiny tentacle like legs sticking out of the rock. It screeched at the crew.
"A...consumer lifeform?" Mysty muttered.
Albur slowly pressed the rifle against his chest to activate slot one and fired at the creature. A white bullet flew out from the rifle and hit the creature, white aura covered its body, and it fell onto the floor. After 5 seconds, the creature stood up and snarled.
Albur aimed the rifle at the creature. But then, the creature spat out purple liquid around its body. The purple liquid boiled and formed a hemisphere resembling a consumer lifeform hump, covering its entire body. Albur fired his rifle, the rifle shot hit the hump and destroyed it.
The creature in it remained untouched, but what's different is that now its color resembles the floor of the car park beneath its feet. Albur and Mysty gasped and took a few steps back.
"Did it just.....form a hump?"
The creature snarled and leaped towards Albur. It bit Albur's leg, but it didn't even penetrate the virtual hazmat suit. Albur picked it up, it then spat purple liquid at his face, hitting the hazmat barrier.
Albur quickly wiped it off, then, he saw a hump forming at his feet. He shot it open, the creature fell out of it. Its body is now made of materials resembling the hazmat barrier. Albur stepped back. Mysty fired her pistols at the creature. It formed another hump around it to block the bullets. When the hump dissolved, its body looked like the floor of the car park again.
"What the heck is this thing?"
The creature snarled, and leaped towards Albur again. This time he smacked it away from him. It hit the wall and fell on its head. Albur aimed his rifle at it.
"Albur, Mysty, what is going on down there?"
"We encountered a consumer lifeform, but its different.....its....changing form."
"What?"
The creature hissed as it slowly approached Albur. Albur fired his rifle at it, it dodged and snarled. Albur threw his rifle on the floor and used his shadow blade to fend it off. Mysty fired her taser at it, it was stunned, allowing Albur to land a strike at it.
But then, it spit out purple liquid again and formed another hump. After the hump dissolved, it hopped out of it, fully recovered, like nothing had happened.
Mysty fired Concentration Shot at it, it dodged it and climbed onto a pipe on the wall. It formed a hump on it, after it dissolved, it had a metal body that have the same color as the pipe.
It then leaped towards Mysty, and leaped onto her face. She yelled in horror, Albur grabbed the creature and kept pulling it, trying to get it off Mysty's face.
The creature roared as purple saliva dripped onto her face, thanks to the virtual hazmat barrier, it did not reach her. Mysty used the daggers at her pistols and smacked the creature. It injured the creature, it then let go.
Albur fell backwards, the creature hit the wall and fell onto the ground. It stood back up and snarled.
Mysty grabbed her pistols and fired at it. The creature tanked it, and rushed towards Mysty. She then stomped onto it, crushing it into pieces.
Purple liquid flowed out of it slowly, she quickly stepped back. Albur managed to stand up on his own, he stared at the crushed consumer lifeform.
The purple liquid around the crushed consumer lifeform begun to boil, it formed another hump and covered it. After 5 seconds, it emerged from the hump, it formed a new body. It stopped being aggressive, it slowly backed away as Mysty raised her foot. It snarled at her, with its legs trembling, it then fled as it continued to screech.
Mysty lowered her foot, and sighed. Albur slowly wiped the dust off his shirt. They looked at the consumer lifeform flee while running and changing directions on the wall and ceiling.
"Holy shapeshifter." Muttered Havoc.
Albur turned his head to Mysty.
"You alright?"
"I guess...no, yeah, I'm alright."
Albur looked at the direction the shapeshifter went. Then, he felt his pocket vibrating very frequently. Its his walkie talkie which buzzed for quite a while.
"Albur! Mysty! Man! Why aren't you guys responding?"
"My bad, we're fighting a shapeshifter just now."
"Huh? Shapeshifter?"
Mysty looked at the pipe on the walls and the floor where the shapeshifter formed a hump. A chunk of them is missing.
"I guess it consumes the material its hump covers and transform into it. The process is pretty quick." Said Mysty.
"Its a consumer lifeform, but it can form a hump of its own and change body material."
Rhea went silent.
"That's new. No wait, are you guys injured?"
Albur turned to Mysty, she shook her head.
"Nope, safe and sound."
"Ah, thank goodness."
Albur shone his flashlight at the direction the shapeshifter went, its gone, no where to be seen. Thinking that there are worse things in B3 and B5, this is not ideal.
