"Come on, come on, this has to work...." murmured Johnson as he is trying to fix Covie. He twisted her bolts and tried to fix the overheated microchips.
"What exactly happened to her? " asked Albur.
"Uh, that was, her awakened form. " said Johnson.
"What? Awakened? " asked Mysty.
"If explained in the scientific perspective, a robot will become even stronger when given over 100,000 voltage electricity. The overflow electricity will boost the robot and even give it some new moves using the overflow energy. Like for example, remember Covie's barrier? It is made of the R.E.C.O.V.E.R. system's healing powers, it converts the healing energy to physical matter by shocking it with the overflow energy. Of course, under the condition which is that robot does not break due to the overflow electricity. And also the draw back of awakening is making her malfunction after the awakening finished." said Johnson.
"How do you know all of these? " asked Albur.
"Ugh, how should I explain, Covie once activated it before during a fight previously with the glitches. The scenario is I was fighting a captain glitch in an internet server, and he tried to make a sacrifice to kill me and himself since he is losing. Then, Covie activated her awakening by eating up all of my batteries and recovered the whole destroyed server. But there's a twist, it might also recover the enemy if used with her brain turned off." said Johnson.
Suddenly, Covie's screen flickered once, then again, and again, until the screen completely turns on.
"Covie? Covie? Can you hear me? " Johnson shook Covie.
"System rebooting, please wait for a moment." Covie's screen displayed this sentence.
Johnson sighed in relief.
"She's..... alright? " asked Mysty.
"Yeah, if she can rebooting normally, theres a great chance she is alright." said Johnson.
Albur and Mysty looked at each other, and sighed in relief.
"So uh, about that awakening, have you ever test it on yourself?" asked Mysty.
"...I used it once when facing off against a dozen army of glitches. That awakening although made me able to wipeout those glitches, but it also cost me an extreme injury." said Johnson.
"Then, can a human have an awakening too?" asked Albur.
"Well, theoretically they can, if a human have contact with a powerful energy source and their body can withstand it while not bursting, it will temporarily mutate their adrenaline and their blood circulatory system, making them far more powerful than ever before. The draw back, however, will make that human suffer extreme exhaustion, and maybe..... death." explained Johnson.
"Is that what you experienced?" asked Albur.
Johnson nodded his head.
"Hey uh, if Covie is now ok, should we move on now?" asked Mysty.
"Wait a minute, I think I forgot something." Albur suddenly thought of something, and rushed outside.
"Hey Albur! Where are you going?" asked Mysty.
Albur is looking around outside.
"Where's Wilton? " he asked.
"Oh yeah! We forgot about him! " said Mysty, before rushing out too.
They looked around in the city, yelling out Wilton's name. After a while, a trembling hand stuck out from behind a building, which belongs to Wilton.
"I-is the g-g-glitch dea-ad? " asked Wilton in fear.
"Oh yeah, nearly forgot him." Johnson aimed his minigun at the helpless glitch.
"No....wait.... I ..."
"Perish...."
Johnson killed Lag with his minigun. Making him slowly dissolve.
"I-i-is he dead? " asked Wilton.
"Yeah, he is gone for sure. Come on out, we gotta get to the next upgrade station. " said Albur.
Wilton walked out while his body is still shaking.
"Come on man, don't be a baby, your like that since the day you joined New News. I even have to help you introduce yourself in front of the boss." said Albur.
Wilton got to Albur's spot, while still looking around in fear.
"Bro this guy is literally nothing but a coward, I gotta say. " scoffed Johnson.
"Man, how did you guys managed to defeat that strong dude? " asked Wilton.
"Thanks to.....oh yeah, we haven't introduce you to him yet. " said Albur.
"This is Mr. Johnson, the CEO of RNP, and also a veteran glitch killer." Albur introduced Johnson to Wilton.
"Oh, nice to meet you! I am Wilton Notlim a cameraman, nice to meet you! " said Wilton.
"Ugh, Please to meet you. " said Johnson.
"But uh.... be careful of him though, don't ask why..." Albur whispered to Wilton.
"Huh." Wilton looked at Johnson.
"So now.... are we heading to the next upgrade station?" asked Mysty.
"Yeah, which is Amber." said Johnson.
"Come on, let's go." Albur signaled Wilton, the gang quickly hopped onto the truck.
"So our next stop is?" asked Albur.
Johnson clicked his watch, and opened the map to the Amber upgrade station. The upgrade station seems to be located at the administrative building, which is located 35 km away from the head of states office. The gang secured their resources, made sure nothing is left there and hopped onto the truck and set sail to the next upgrade station.

On the way to the upgrade station, Johnson kept looking at Covie, looking worried.
"She's still not awake? " asked Mysty.
Johnson shook his head.
"This is odd, the rebooting normally only takes a while, but till now she isn't fully rebooted yet." said Johnson.
"Why is she that important to you? If we don't say she is a R.E.C.O.V.E.R system. " said Wilton.
Johnson said nothing, he just kept looking at Covie. Albur used his watch and sent Wilton a message.
'He is like that, never revealing any single bit of his past, don't mind that'
Wilton saw that and didn't continue to ask much.
Suddenly, Covie's screen flashed a green light, and then again, and then again, over and over again.
"Covie? You alright? Can you hear me?" Johnson shook Covie.
At last, Covie's screen lit up, she opened her eyes and looked around.
"M-master? " Covie looked at Johnson.
"Thank goodness you're ok...." Johnson hugged Covie. And then putting her down.
"How are you feeling? " he asked.
"I'm.... feeling better..... no wait! Where's that big glitch? Is Wilton ok? Where's Albur and Mysty? " Covie flew using her propeller and looked around. She found the gang all ok, they all smiled at her.
"Well done Covie.... you saved us all..." said Johnson.
"I did? " asked Covie.
"Yeah, Wilton is ok, Mysty is ok, Johnson is ok, I am ok. " said Albur.
"You just saved us from that huge asteroid, and even fixed the some part of the city. " said Mysty.
Covie looked around, and looked at her hands, at last, she smiled.
"Where did that giggling went? And also why not get yourself some batteries, your battery is running low, if you don't have any batteries just touch the hyper gem plug for 1 second, that should give you enough power. " said Johnson.
Covie looked at him, and smiled.
"Rogie rogie! " she giggled as she flew to the cargo.
"Looks like she is ok now." said Albur.
"Yeah, she can laugh, fly amd function normally now." said Mysty.
Johnson sighed in relief and sat down in the cargo.
Suddenly, the gang heard water drop noises, they looked outside the window, and found out that it was raining.
"What the, it started to rain...." murmured Albur.
"Oh, you got to be....." Covie's arms covered Johnson's mouth in time.
".....kidding me." muffled Johnson, after which he removed her arms.
"What? What's wrong? " asked Mysty.
"I am a cyborg, I might be fire proof and sound proof, but I ain't water proof. The rain will make my robot body malfunction! " said Johnson.
"AWWW SNAP... that is a raise in difficulty. " said Albur, activating the car wipers.
"I guess I will have to stay in the digital world for ages....." said Johnson.
"Hey, I have an idea, what if we travel in the digital world? Since those glitches will only patrol the real world. " suggested Mysty.
"Hey, great idea. Why never we thought of that earlier? " asked Albur.
"True, that does make sense. " said Johnson.
"What is the digital world? " asked Wilton.
"The digital world is a parallel space that we can enter after we were turned into digital data." said Albur.
"What do you mean by that? " asked Wilton.
"Basically, we were materialized right now so we are in the real world, however, if we break down our body and turn into digital data, we can enter the digital world. " said Mysty.
"Oh, ok. "
"We better hurry up, the rain is getting heavier as it looks." said Johnson.
