The turmoil caused by the First Firmament was naturally not something Karl alone was dealing with across the entire Multiverse.
In fact, the instant the Aspirants entered the Multiverse, the Five Great Gods had already detected them.
Beings capable of destroying the Multiverse in an instant naturally possessed that level of awareness.
However, not all of the Five Great Gods were particularly enthusiastic about intervening.
Nor were all of them so eager to protect the Multiverse.
Moreover, from their perspective, the Aspirants were nothing more than a minor disturbance. They were hardly worth worrying about.
Their true enemy was the First Firmament itself.
Therefore, even after discovering the Aspirants, they did not personally take action.
Only Eternity dispatched some of his followers.
His apostles, along with a group of Celestials, searched throughout the Multiverse for the Aspirants and fought them wherever they were found.
For a time, bloody battles erupted throughout the entire Multiverse.
Naturally, the Main Universe became one of the greatest battlefields.
After all, most of the Aspirants had entered the Main Universe.
The ones intercepting them throughout the universe were the powerful Celestials led by their leader.
After all, the two sides were mortal enemies.
If the Celestials did not fight them, who would?
Eternity was also secretly interfering, tipping the scales in the Celestials' favor.
It could be said that the fighting in the Main Universe was exceptionally intense.
At first, the pressure Karl was facing actually wasn't anything significant.
But!
Everything changed the moment Karl instantly killed dozens of Aspirants.
The Aspirants surrounded him from every direction.
There was an extremely mysterious connection between them.
It was an innate ability the First Firmament had bestowed upon them when they were mass-produced.
The instant one of their brethren died, the other Aspirants could rely on that connection to immediately tear open enormous wormholes.
That was precisely what Karl had seen earlier—the Aspirants rushing toward him through the darkness at tremendous speed.
In the blink of an eye, the Aspirants disappeared.
Naturally, the powerful beings who had been fighting them were completely baffled.
"What happened?"
"Why did these guys suddenly leave in the middle of the fight?"
The Celestial leader frowned.
He suspected that they were definitely plotting something.
After all, their ancestors had once fought a life-and-death war against the Aspirants.
If the Aspirants had not eventually fallen into internal conflict, the world would be completely different from what it was now.
The First Firmament and its followers would probably have occupied the entirety of existence.
Even now, the Celestials were having an extremely difficult time fighting them.
If not for their kin who had returned from the void, the Aspirants would have exterminated their entire race long ago.
Naturally, seeing the Aspirants suddenly behave so strangely made them extremely curious.
"I don't know what exactly happened."
"But this is good news for us."
"With these Aspirants gone, things will be much easier for us."
The Celestial leader spoke to the Celestial beside him.
Just as he had said, after several thousand Aspirants left, the Celestials quickly gained the advantage.
The multicolored Celestials rapidly gained the upper hand.
They could each fight multiple opponents, and Eternity was also interfering from the sidelines to help them.
The half of the Aspirants that remained behind were gradually slaughtered.
However, the battle also inflicted tremendous casualties on the Celestials.
With the return of their kin from the void, the size of their race had originally increased substantially.
But after this battle, their losses were enormous.
Fewer than four hundred of them remained.
The powerful Celestial leader's expression turned extremely ugly.
"Those damned lackeys of the First Firmament!"
"We have to destroy every last one of them!"
The Celestial leader spoke through gritted teeth.
"Exactly. Since they've come here, they can forget about leaving alive."
"I've already determined the coordinates of their spatial jump. Let's pursue them and wipe them out completely."
Another Celestial spoke.
"Wait."
"Let's scout the area first."
"What if whoever they're fighting is someone we've had conflicts with before?"
The Celestial leader spoke cautiously.
The Celestials did not exactly have the best reputation.
They had offended people throughout the entire Multiverse.
What if the person there was one of their enemies?
If they went over now, wouldn't they simply be walking straight into a trap?
The other Celestial froze.
"You're right."
"We've been severely weakened. At this point, almost anyone we run into could give us trouble."
"Let me scout the area first."
After saying that, the Celestial's multicolored armor rapidly transformed.
A strangely shaped robotic probe took form.
The next moment, a wormhole appeared directly in front of him.
The robot immediately flew inside.
The surrounding Celestials erupted in commotion.
An image feed appeared before them.
It showed the region near Earth.
Then they saw it.
Karl stood alone against more than a thousand Aspirants.
By himself, he forcibly dragged all of them into some unknown space.
A short while later, Karl emerged from that mysterious space.
Only five Aspirants remained around him.
Hiss!
Every Celestial watching the scene sucked in a sharp breath.
Were they dreaming?
Those were Aspirants!
More than a thousand Aspirants!
Their entire race had fought against them.
As a result, they had lost more than half their forces. Everyone who remained was wounded, and enormous amounts of their power had been consumed.
But what were they looking at now?
One man.
One man had fought more than a thousand Aspirants and slaughtered them until only five remained.
Was he some kind of monster?
Even one of the Five Great Gods would be no more terrifying than this, right?
When had someone this powerful appeared in the Main Universe?
"Why does that guy look so familiar?"
Amid the silence, one of the Celestials suddenly spoke.
"Because we've seen him before."
"That's the Sorcerer Supreme who killed Arishem the Judge and the others."
The Celestial leader's face twitched as he spoke.
"What?"
"Wasn't this guy from some minor universe?"
"But this guy... y-you're sure you haven't mistaken him for someone else?"
The Celestial even began to stammer.
They had actually provoked someone this terrifying?
If Karl discovered them, couldn't he simply come over and wipe them all out?
"I wish I were mistaken, but there's no way I'd mistake him for someone else."
"That kid taught us a painful lesson back then."
"I still have the scars on my body."
The Celestial leader couldn't help speaking bitterly.
There was a reason he had not joined the battle earlier.
Karl had injured him before, and he simply hadn't dared to go into battle in his current condition.
Now, after seeing just how terrifying Karl had become, his heart was filled with bitterness.
"We never imagined back then that this guy would become this powerful."
"If I'd known his strength would improve this quickly, there's no way I would've attacked him!"
"Could this guy actually be a mutant?"
"Otherwise, how could he possibly be this freakishly powerful?"
The Celestial leader couldn't help exclaiming.
Karl's power had already gone far beyond anything they could understand.
