Chapter 219 - Chapter 219: The Cosmic Purge Plan!?

The Marvel world was a very special world.

Within these worlds, there were also many special races.

Among them, the oldest and most unique were the Celestials.

They were one of the first races born in the universe.

They were extraordinarily ancient, and naturally, they were also extraordinarily powerful.

Even now, many people still had no way to understand the form of energy inside their bodies.

Across the entire Multiverse, the Celestials were like a group of absolute menaces.

They caused trouble everywhere.

They destroyed other people's planets at the slightest excuse, wiped out other people's civilizations, and even liked performing biological experiments everywhere.

Compared to them, Galactus was not even that bad.

Even so, they were still alive and kicking, freely roaming the Multiverse and doing whatever they wanted.

That alone was enough to show how powerful they were.

And because they were a race, the Celestials were also very numerous.

So far, more than a thousand Celestial members had been discovered in the Main Universe alone.

The strength of these Celestial members varied.

The weakest might only be at the Skyfather level, while the strongest could even create an entire Multiverse.

It could be said that if all the Celestial members united together, they would definitely become the strongest force in the entire Multiverse.

Fortunately, the Celestial members were not all gathered together.

They were more like a scattered organization.

A few Celestial members who were familiar with each other would stay together.

Some members even held grudges against one another.

It could be said that they were completely scattered and disunited.

Fortunately, that was the case. Otherwise, with the domineering attitude of this bunch of troublemakers, the entire Multiverse would probably have been torn apart by them.

Karl had caused such a huge shock that it stirred up massive waves across the entire Multiverse.

Naturally, there was no way the Celestials would not know about it.

In fact, many Celestial members had already noticed Karl's existence.

However, the Celestials were numerous.

Their internal opinions regarding Karl were also mixed.

Before they could even go after Karl, they started arguing among themselves first.

The main reason was that some Celestial members wanted to erase Karl's existence.

Others felt that Karl was somewhat powerful and that they should not take action.

In the end, it was a being among the Celestials with the codename Arishem the Judge who settled the matter with one final decision.

"We must erase this human."

"The universe he created has already absorbed eighty percent of the Multiverse's source power."

"This will throw the entire Multiverse out of balance."

"Unless a certain universe collapses and shatters, this source matter cannot be restored."

"We must maintain the balance of the universe."

Arishem spoke loudly.

The Celestials were an arrogant race.

As one of the oldest races in this world, they possessed tremendous power, and naturally, that made them regard themselves as the ones who set the standards of this world.

They did whatever they wanted, entirely according to their own whims.

They never cared about anyone else's feelings.

The humans of Earth in this world were beings created by the Celestials using intelligent life as a template.

They had even used the human genetic template to create two powerful races: the Eternals and the Mutants.

Do not be fooled by the fact that Thanos looked like a living purple potato.

In reality, his genes were more than sixty percent similar to human genes.

The Eternals were only a subspecies of humanity.

And all of this came from the hands of the Celestials.

They modified the genes of an entire race without the slightest hesitation, completely disregarding the feelings of other races.

From this, one could imagine just how arrogant the Celestials were.

Beings like them could not tolerate anything that slipped beyond their control.

What Arishem had said earlier, that Karl had absorbed half of the Multiverse's source matter, was indeed true.

However, the Multiverse had its own ability to repair itself.

As time passed, the various source matters within it would naturally return to normal.

What they could not tolerate was the fact that Karl had escaped the control of the Celestials.

Karl was only a human!

Humans were the lab rats in their laboratory.

If humans discovered that a lab rat had suddenly developed intelligence and had gained control of a large number of lethal weapons, their first reaction would definitely be to capture it for research.

If it could not be studied, then they would kill it.

Would humans ever admit that a lab rat stood on equal footing with them?

Of course not.

To the Celestials, humans were those lab rats locked inside a laboratory, ready to be used for research at any time.

Or rather, most lifeforms in the universe were like that to them.

Now, a lab rat had actually escaped their control. How could they possibly tolerate that?

As one of the most rigid and arrogant beings among the Celestials, Arishem naturally could not allow it.

"Exitar, come with me. We will erase him."

"We cannot tolerate the existence of someone who destroys the balance of the universe."

Arishem spoke to a Celestial member whose body radiated an aura of destruction.

"Wait, Arishem."

"You cannot do that."

"We need to capture this being."

"This is an extremely precious individual among humans."

"We should capture him and study why this creature was able to become so powerful."

A Celestial member who looked like a robot spoke.

"Jemiah is right. This is an extremely valuable specimen."

"We need to collect his samples."

Gammenon also echoed from the side.

"I think we should destroy this being."

"He is far too dangerous."

"We should not conduct experiments on someone this dangerous."

Hargen spoke.

The Celestial members each had their own opinion, and they almost started arguing again.

"All of you, shut up. I do not want to see that old patriarch."

"Listen to me. We can study him first, then kill him afterward."

"When the time comes, you can collect as many samples as you want."

"With all of us here, no matter how powerful he is, he will not be able to cause any waves."

Arishem spoke loudly.

His deep voice directly overpowered the voices of the other Celestial members.

After hearing Arishem say this, the Celestial members nodded in agreement.

"This time, we will bring more people."

"This is a Multiverse-level being who has mastered his own universe. He may already have begun walking the path of origin."

"He will not be easy to deal with."

As Arishem said this, his eyes looked extremely excited.

They no longer knew how many years it had been since they had killed an existence of this level.

Over the course of their long lives, this was probably one of the few things that could make them feel excited.

After hearing his words, several Celestial members also became excited.

"You are right."

"I will go locate his universe first."

"If that truly does not work, we can execute the Cosmic Purge Plan."

"That will be absolutely foolproof."

Another Celestial member also spoke.

The group discussed among themselves.

A strategy targeting Karl was soon worked out.
