Breaking through to the Multiverse level did not take as long as Karl had imagined.
It took roughly a little more than a week.
Karl had basically completed it.
His universe quickly grew to its limit.
After absorbing the aura of chaos, his universe no longer grew any further.
Karl knew that his universe had already reached its limit.
"It took much less time than I expected."
"I thought it would take decades."
Karl shook his head.
Even though he could now be considered a true long-lived being, he still had not adapted to such vast spans of time.
To him, several decades was already an extremely long period.
He had already prepared himself for a long, drawn-out effort.
He simply had not expected it to take far less time than he imagined.
In just one week, it had already reached its limit.
The surrounding aura of chaos had almost been completely absorbed.
The originally dense aura of chaos had now become extremely thin.
The surrounding area had almost turned into an empty space, like outer space itself.
Only in extremely distant places was the aura of chaos slightly denser.
"How strange. Just one universe consumed this much."
"After all these years, how has this aura of chaos maintained its balance?"
Karl was somewhat puzzled.
But what he did not know was that there were not many people like him.
Most universes were time branches split off from the Main Universe.
They did not consume much energy.
Other people's universes were also far from being as powerful as Karl's universe, which could absorb an almost endless amount of chaotic aura.
His universe was unique, even across the entire Multiverse.
To a certain extent, Karl's universe possessed an extremely powerful potential for development.
However, without a powerful expert to guide him, he did not understand this at all.
After perfecting his universe, Karl began observing it.
In the unseen depths of reality, Karl had a premonition. After this, a certain extremely wondrous change had occurred in his universe.
Karl traveled through his own universe.
With a single thought, he could move freely throughout the entire universe.
This was not spatial ability.
Yet it was even more useful than spatial ability.
"Is this matter recombination?"
Karl fell into thought.
This miraculous method of movement was more like dismantling his body, then reconstructing it somewhere else.
That was the basic principle, but in reality, it was thousands upon thousands of times more complicated than that.
Karl traveled through the universe.
In his eyes, his universe was no different from the universe where he had been born.
Every celestial body a universe should have existed here.
Perhaps the only difference was that there was no life at all in his universe.
Not only was there no intelligent life.
Even the most basic single-celled life, the foundation from which everything was born, did not exist.
This place seemed like a dead and silent expanse.
However, that situation had changed.
After Karl reached the Multiverse level, vitality seemed to have appeared in his universe.
Karl discovered traces of life on many planets.
Although they were only the most basic single-celled organisms, Karl still felt that they had great potential for development.
As long as nothing went wrong, as time slowly passed, these lifeforms would gradually grow and eventually become intelligent beings.
If these organisms developed successfully, he would gain another source of power completely different from Kamar-Taj.
"Unfortunately, accelerating time would reduce their potential."
"It is better not to interfere too early."
Looking at the cells slowly wriggling in the ocean, Karl could not help but speak.
Time acceleration was not completely risk-free.
After non-intelligent lifeforms underwent time acceleration, they would suffer very serious aftereffects.
They would develop temporal disjunction.
Their own time would not match the time of the outside world, and major problems would arise.
"Fortunately, my lifespan is long now."
Karl was extremely satisfied with this.
The Marvel world was extremely dangerous, but it also had great benefits.
That was, as long as one became powerful, one could truly live for a very long time.
Generally speaking, once someone reached the Skyfather level, dying became extremely difficult.
After reaching the Single-Universe level, one was almost impossible to kill.
As long as one did not suffer a severe injury, one could continue living forever.
Even if the universe was destroyed, that person could still keep living.
This was perhaps one of the few benefits of transmigrating into this world.
"However, right now, my comprehension of the Origin is still insufficient."
"There is still an enormous gap between me and those top-tier powerhouses."
Karl thought to himself.
Combat power was one matter.
Comprehension of the Origin was another.
Karl's current combat power could perhaps rival a mid-tier Multiverse-level existence.
But compared to those top-tier Multiverse-level existences, there was still a certain gap.
Against beings like Annihilus and Galactus, he was still far from being their match.
Of course, it would no longer be that easy for them to kill Karl either.
He was no longer an existence those gods could casually erase with a flick of their finger.
"Since I have broken through to the Multiverse level…"
"There are some things that should be done now."
"For example, finding Chthon, and confirming Thanos's death."
Karl pondered inwardly.
Chthon was, after all, a Multiverse-level existence.
As long as there were still dark sorcerers in this world, he would not die.
This was the terrifying strength of the God of Dark Magic.
Every dark sorcerer was providing him with power.
No one knew when he would slowly recover. Perhaps he could even break through the seal and come knocking at Karl's door.
Karl could not allow such a thing to happen.
Strike first, or suffer later!
As for the other person.
That was naturally Thanos.
Back then, Karl had fought him in the Void Realm after Galactus's death.
But Karl could not confirm whether that guy had truly died.
This was the Marvel world.
The Multiverse was endless, and anything could happen.
He absolutely could not lower his guard.
"This is ridiculous. I didn't expect that after becoming a Multiverse-level existence, I would become even busier than before."
"I originally wanted to rest for a while."
Karl sighed.
He had a premonition.
He probably would not be able to stay in his own universe for very long.
He would need to enter the Multiverse frequently.
His strength was too great.
A single ordinary universe could no longer contain his power.
Now, he either had to go to the Main Universe, or roam through the Multiverse.
However, both of those places were far too dangerous.
Karl felt that Multiverse-level strength was not truly safe.
He needed to continue developing for a while.
Only after his strength stabilized would he be able to step into those two completely different worlds.
