Chapter 38 - Chapter 38 – The Knight Inside Saturn

Several hours passed inside the strange school.

The silence never truly disappeared.

Even during rest, the hallways felt alive somehow—like the building was quietly observing every movement the group made. Outside the classroom windows, the sky remained gray and unmoving.

No birds.

No wind.

No normal life.

Only stillness.

Then—

alarms rang throughout the school.

Heavy footsteps echoed from downstairs.

Screams followed immediately after.

Students began running through the corridors in panic as masked men forced their way into the building carrying submachine guns and explosives.

A terrorist group.

"GET DOWN!"

"EVERYONE ON THE FLOOR!"

Gunfire erupted instantly.

Classroom windows shattered.

Walls cracked apart from stray bullets.

The students froze in fear, many too shocked to even move properly.

Some cried.

Some hid beneath desks.

Others simply stood there trembling.

Then—

a massive armored figure walked into the hallway.

Jhonathan.

The terrorists immediately aimed at him.

"FIRE!"

The hallway exploded into noise.

Bullets rained against his body endlessly, sparks flying from his damaged armor as the impact forced cracks across the walls behind him.

Yet he kept walking.

Step.

Step.

Step.

Closer.

One terrorist stared in horror.

"…He's not stopping."

Another emptied an entire magazine directly into Jhonathan's chest.

Nothing.

The wounds regenerated instantly beneath the shattered armor.

"He's immortal!"

Panic spread through the attackers.

They pulled grenades from their belts and threw them desperately.

Explosions consumed the hallway.

Smoke swallowed everything.

The students screamed.

Then the smoke parted.

Jhonathan was still walking.

Closer now.

His silver-white hair moved gently beneath the ruined remains of his helmet.

His eyes held no hatred.

Only determination.

"A knight…"

His voice echoed through the ruined corridor.

"…is someone who protects."

He grabbed Dexcalibur tightly.

"A knight is a savior."

The terrorists stepped backward instinctively.

"As long as someone still needs saving…"

His grip tightened.

"…I will stand."

One swing.

The hallway shook violently.

The pressure alone destroyed the terrorists' weapons and sent their bodies crashing unconscious across the floor without killing them.

Silence followed.

The students stared in disbelief.

The battle had ended instantly.

A young girl from Grade 11 slowly approached him afterward.

She looked nervous but curious.

She had a noticeably large forehead and messy hair that partially covered her eyes.

"…Can I help you too?" she asked quietly.

The entire classroom looked toward Jhonathan.

For a moment, the terrifying armored warrior simply stared at her.

Then—

he smiled softly.

"Sure, sweetie."

He gently tapped her forehead.

Something glowed.

Wisps of pale light suddenly formed around the classroom, floating like wandering spirits awakening from deep sleep.

The air changed.

The students felt warmth spread through their bodies.

And for the first time since entering Saturn Class 11—

the school itself reacted peacefully.
