No One's Pov
Before she could even open her mouth to answer his question, Lily's killer instincts suddenly picked up something completely abnormal. Her ears twitched as she heard the faint sound of cautious footsteps coming from the far end of the hallway.
Without wasting a single second to explain, she used her strength to forcefully drag Lucian straight into the dark study room, quietly closing the door behind them. Before he could react, she shoved him inside a small, cramped supply closet nearby and squeezed herself in right after him, locking the narrow door from the inside.
Lucian was completely stunned by her sudden, aggressive movements. His mind went totally blank as he found himself trapped in the pitch-black space with her.
"What in the world do you think you are doing?!" Lucian began to snap loudly, his face flushing with anger.
