No One's Pov
Lily looked down at the cheerful little girl who was now skipping happily down the hallway, heading straight towards the grand dining area.
It had finally been a full day since Lily had arrived at this massive mansion, and she had spent every single minute trying her best to understand this strange new place. One thing was completely certain: this did not seem to be a normal family from any normal angle. They were surrounded by heavy security and cold-faced maids.
Suddenly, the large double doors of the dining hall came into view. The moment the guards pushed them open, Viella's bright happy smile instantly fell, completely vanishing from her cute face. Sitting around the massive table was her entire family.
"I really thought they wouldn't be home today," Viella muttered in a tiny disappointed whisper to herself as she reluctantly stepped inside the room.
