The entire bloody scene had been closely watched by a pair of hidden eyes. Standing just beyond the iron door of the basement, Lucian had been peering through the narrow viewing slit the entire time. A wide smirk slowly spread across his handsome face as he stared directly at Lily's tiny form holding the smoking gun.
He had expected his little sister to break down in tears and run away crying, but instead, this new servant had stepped up and pulled the trigger without a single shred of hesitation. Her cold posture, her steady grip, and the emotionless look in her eyes as she ended those lives were not the traits of a scared little orphan. She was definitely not an ordinary maid.
"Fascinating," Lucian murmured to himself under his breath, his glowing eyes widening with intense curiosity.
