Chapter 204 - The Laws of Economics

Season 3 chapter 113

The Laws of Economics

Mantouse slowly turned around from the heavy analog fax machine, staring at Kniya and Malesh as if they were completely alien beings. The reality of the sixty trillion credit transfer was still actively short-circuiting his highly analytical brain.

"I am honestly not getting this thing," Mantouse whispered, his voice trembling slightly with pure, unfiltered bewilderment. "How... how were you physically able to get this massive amount of money? In such an incredibly short span of time? It defies every single rule of economics."

Kniya immediately frowned, his chewing slowing down. He looked at the underground financier with genuine, practical irritation, completely ruining the dramatic atmosphere.

"What the fuck are you talking about, Mantu?" Kniya demanded, his tone shifting into a highly logical, dead-serious lecture. "I know that you wanted to use a dramatic metaphor just now, but you are factually incorrect. This has absolutely nothing to do with defying the laws of economics."

Mantouse blinked, completely thrown off by the sudden technical correction. "What?"

"Economics is literally just the study of resource allocation and capital exchange," Kniya explained practically, waving his hand as if he were talking to a beginner. "There is absolutely no law in economics that dictates a strict speed limit on capital accumulation. Sure, sixty trillion is an astronomical amount of revenue. And yes, it is definitely not easy to earn in just eleven months. But it is just a matter of extreme market leverage and supply scaling. You can absolutely earn this much amount without breaking a single economic law. So what specific rule did we exactly defy?"

Mantouse stared at him. His right eye began to violently twitch as he fully processed the fact that Kniya was actively debating the practical semantics of economic theory with him, right after pulling off the greatest financial miracle in history.

"Are you seriously giving me a highly logical lecture on economics right now?!" Mantouse yelled, his aristocratic composure entirely shattering. "I run a multi-trillion credit underground empire! I know what economics is! I was obviously exaggerating because sixty trillion is an impossible number for normal humans! It is a figure of speech, you absolute psycho! Just tell me how the hell you actually did it!"

Kniya leaned back against the splintered doorframe, popping a loud, obnoxious bubble with his mint gum. He offered the screaming billionaire a massive, highly unhinged smirk.

"By selling your underwear, obviously, Mantu."

The 30-Year Confession

Mantouse aggressively rubbed his face with both hands, looking like a man who was actively standing on the edge of a cliff.

"Why the fuck do you always have to include all this absolute shit in every single conversation?!" Mantouse yelled, glaring at the two billionaires. "Can't you two just talk seriously for even a single moment?! I have literally so many massive tasks to handle, but still, I am standing in a dirt hut giving you guys way too much of my time!"

Malesh smoothly adjusted his silk tie, his dark eyes totally deadpan.

"Yeah, Mantouse, I know that," Malesh stated flatly. "Why are you pacing this thing out? Why do you want this meeting to go so fast? So that you can get the time?"

"Yeah, get the time for..." Kniya chimed in, a chaotic smirk stretching across his face as he perfectly set up the punchline.

"...his appointment with his GF, and to successfully fulfill all of his bizarre fantasies," Malesh finished seamlessly, not missing a single beat.

Mantouse's eyes widened. His aristocratic composure completely snapped.

"That's enough, guys! Please! Please, can you just stop talking about this fucking thing?!" Mantouse begged, his voice cracking with pure desperation. He threw his hands up in the air, completely surrendering his pride. "Okay! Let me tell you one thing! I haven't told this to anyone in my entire life, but I am telling you right now because you have literally fucked my brain up! I am literally unable to process anything anymore!"

Kniya and Malesh stood perfectly still, watching the most powerful underground financier in the world completely break down.

"For the past thirty years of my life, I haven't talked to a single girl!" Mantouse confessed loudly, his chest heaving. "Not a single one! And basically, that is exactly why I do not have any fucking GF! So I don't have any fucking appointment! So can you please stop talking about this absolute shit?!"

Kniya popped a piece of mint gum into his mouth, looking at Mantouse with an expression of pure, unfiltered pity. Malesh just slowly shook his head, looking deeply disappointed by the financier's tragic social life.

The Civil War Interrogation

Mantouse took a long, ragged breath, desperately trying to get the conversation back on a serious track.

"And the thing is, let me tell you one highly important thing right now," Mantouse continued, his voice dropping into a dark, incredibly serious tone. "Because it was the exact thing that I actually had to tell you. It is a really important aspect, and it is directly related to your President. To your fucking President, who was secretly behind this entire fucking civil war."

Kniya's smirk instantly vanished. The chaotic energy dropped, but before Mantouse could reveal the state secret, Kniya held up a hand.

"Hold on," Kniya interrupted, his sharp eyes locking onto Mantouse. "But Mantouse, before you continue with that, there is one thing that I am really going to ask you. And that is... you are a really, really powerful guy. You have endless resources. Then why didn't you just stop this civil war yourself?"

Mantouse sneered, stepping back and crossing his arms with pure disdain.

"That is because of the fucking reason that I have absolutely nothing to do with this fucking shit war!" Mantouse spat coldly. "It is not my responsibility to fix your country's broken issues! I am not a citizen of this fucking shit country, and I do not care if it burns to the ground!"

Kniya's jaw clenched. His eyes darkened with a sudden, intense loyalty to his home.

"One day, we will show you exactly what this country is capable of," Kniya warned, his voice turning cold and sharp. "And you should not say anything like that to our country, Mantouse. It is really not great. It is really not good."

The Ultimate Derailment

Instantly dropping the patriotic tension, Kniya seamlessly switched right back into his unhinged, chaotic persona.

"But anyway!" Kniya announced cheerfully, completely changing the subject. "At the very least, you should give us our prize. We successfully completed the impossible challenge of paying you back. So, you know, you officially lost the challenge. And now you are going to do the thing of giving your current underwear to Leon, so that he can smell it."

Mantouse stared at Kniya, his jaw physically dropping open.

"No! I am not going to provide you with this kind of shit!" Mantouse roared, the veins in his neck bulging aggressively. "It was your fucking loan! You just provided me with my own money back, with interest, and absolutely nothing else! So just stop talking about this fucking shit, Kniya! Please! Please!"

Mantouse grabbed his own hair, completely losing his mind over how fast the conversation had derailed.

"Why the hell can't I talk properly about anything with you guys?!" Mantouse screamed at the ceiling. "Even though I have to tell you something incredibly important about the fate of your entire nation, you guys literally always include some absolute shit matter right in between! So that the entire topic is entirely focused upon that shit matter!"

Mantouse pointed a shaking finger at Kniya and Malesh, panting heavily.

"Sometimes it is about a fake GF! Sometimes it is about a fucking pegging novel! I don't even know what the fuck it is anymore! Just let me tell you about the President!"

The Liquidation Threat

Kniya leaned back, crossing his arms and popping a fresh piece of mint gum into his mouth.

"Okay, Mantouse," Kniya started, his voice dripping with faux sympathy. "I think so you are really, really sad right now. But can you just tell me one thing? Are you finally going to provide us with our previous wages?"

Mantouse's face flushed a deep, furious red.

"No! Fucking no!" Mantouse screamed, aggressively throwing his hands down. "I am absolutely not going to provide you with anything else!"

Kniya shrugged lazily, gesturing around the dilapidated interior. "Well then, we are going to sell this precious sofa sitting inside your fucking hut. And we are going to rip down this ceiling fan, too, and sell it."

"It is not my fucking house!" Mantouse roared, his voice echoing up the underground stairwell. "You can do whatever the fuck you want! Rip the walls down for all I care! I do not give a single shit about this thing! And you know what? I am not going to tell you about anything else now! What the fuck! I thought I was going to do a genuinely good task of telling you one highly important thing about your country, but no! You guys literally make absolute shit out of my mind so that I cannot even think of anything anymore!"
