Campers and their parents were gathered outside the Grand Lodge, bundled in colorful winter coats and scarves against the biting cold.
And standing among them was Felicia.
Every time their gazes crossed, Felicia flashed her a wicked smile that sent a chill crawling down Pixie's spine.
Determined not to let it ruin her day, Pixie forced her attention elsewhere.
At that moment, the Quest Organizer stepped onto a makeshift platform, dressed in a full-length, antique-style fur coat that looked as if it had been borrowed from a fantasy movie.
"The Frostbound Quest begins in ten minutes!" she announced into the microphone clipped to her collar.
A loud cheer erupted from the crowd as children bounced excitedly on their feet.
