The words spoken by the narrator caused many villains across the lands to sigh with deep emotion. They were the ones who agreed most with the statements made by Jiren and the narrator. They often wondered about the true nature of the world.
What is justice? What is evil? To them, these were all relative terms that changed depending on who was looking at the situation. In their minds, victory is justice. The winner gets to decide what is right and what is wrong.
If you want to achieve victory and prove your path is the correct one, you must possess immense strength. If they were not strong enough to win, then they would simply be cast aside while others became the heroes of the story.
Deep within the Pride Troopers headquarters in Universe 11, Jiren stood perfectly still. He usually kept a calm and expressionless face, but now the corners of his mouth twitched slightly as he watched the screen. Was he really not strong enough? He was already the most powerful being in all of Universe 11.
He had the power to crush contestants from every other universe without much effort. In fact, if Goku had not used that mysterious power-up, Jiren would have crushed him easily. With such overwhelming strength, how could anyone say he was lacking?
However, Jiren was honest with himself. He had to admit that the narrator was right. He was indeed not strong enough. If he had reached a higher level of power, it wouldn't have mattered what kind of power-up Goku used.
Even with that new form, Goku should not have been his equal. In the video, Jiren saw himself being pushed back by Goku, who had entered the state of Perfect Ultra Instinct.
It was a clear sign that his current strength had hit a limit. If he could possess power comparable to a high-ranking god or an angel, Goku would be nothing more than an ant in his eyes, regardless of his form.
I must become stronger. I need to reach a level beyond what I have now. But how am I supposed to do it? Jiren frowned as he thought about his path. He was facing the same problem that Hit had encountered before.
They were both too powerful compared to everyone else in their respective universes. They stood alone at the very top. When you are the strongest and there is no one left to challenge you, your growth begins to slow down. It is lonely at the peak of power. Without a rival to push you to your limits, your strength will not improve much further.
This is exactly why some powerful figures in the world, like the experts in Spirit Hall or even wandering Titled Douluo, sometimes choose to let young geniuses grow. They hope that by cultivating a future opponent, they can find a way to break through their own limits later on. Of course, this is a dangerous game.
There is a high chance that things will go wrong and the protagonist will grow too strong and kill them instead. But the principle remains the same for everyone seeking the ultimate peak. Unless a person is truly invincible across all the heavens and myriad realms, having an opponent who can contend with them is very helpful for improving strength.
In the video, being pushed to the brink by Goku made Jiren remember the painful memories of his past. The loss of his master and his friends flashed through his mind. This pain became the trigger for Jiren to break past his own limits. He let out a massive roar that shook the entire area. A fiery aura erupted from his body like a volcano.
This aura was so intense that it looked like a sea of fire, spreading out and even affecting the people sitting in the audience stands. The entire arena was turned into a burning wasteland by the sheer pressure of his energy. The clothes Jiren was wearing burst apart from the pressure, showing his muscular upper body. This was Jiren at his absolute full power.
Facing Goku in his Perfect Ultra Instinct form, Jiren finally stopped holding back anything. With his full power unleashed, Jiren instantly turned the tide of the battle. He was no longer at a disadvantage.
He even clashed his energy directly against Goku's, breaking the common belief that one should never struggle against a member of the Son family in a beam clash. Jiren emerged victorious from that exchange. His massive attack swallowed Goku's figure and created a giant crater in the floor of the arena.
Goku was not finished yet, though. He rushed out of the smoke and launched a fierce assault against Jiren. But Jiren was too fast and too strong in this state. He caught Goku, found an opening, and knocked him straight out of the sky. Goku hit the ground hard and lay there, looking like he didn't have a single drop of energy left to stand up.
Vermoud laughed loudly from the sidelines. This is the real Jiren! You did well, Jiren! I knew you wouldn't let me down. It doesn't matter if he has Perfect Ultra Instinct or not. Jiren will never lose to someone like that! Vermoud was incredibly happy.
He felt that his trust in Jiren was justified. Even the ultimate form Goku had achieved was not enough to defeat his champion. Since Ultra Instinct was Goku's last resort, if he failed now, then Universe 7 would have no hope left of winning the tournament.
The people from Universe 11 shared their god's joy. They cheered for Jiren, their strongest warrior and the guardian deity of their universe. Meanwhile, the other spectators were shocked. They never imagined Jiren could be this powerful. Seeing Goku at a disadvantage even in his strongest form was something they hadn't expected.
Sengoku watched the fight with a serious expression. If Jiren had shown this level of power from the very beginning, the fight would have been over instantly. Kakashi nodded in agreement. You're right.
If he had used this kind of strength at the start of the Tournament of Power, the whole thing would have ended in less than half a minute. No one else would have stood a chance. Kurosaki Ichigo spoke up as well. At least because he waited, we were able to see what the true nature of Ultra Instinct looks like.
Duanmu Yan looked closely at the screen and shook his head. I don't think we can say the winner is decided yet. I have a feeling Goku can still continue to fight. Zhang Chulan agreed. Exactly. I feel the same way.
Even though Vermoud believed the battle was over, the spectators from other worlds had seen Goku fight before. They knew that he had fallen many times in the past and always managed to get back up. They expected him to do it again.
In the video, Krillin stood up in the audience and shouted to his friend. Goku! I know you can do it! I believe in you! It doesn't matter how dangerous things get, you always find a way to fight back. You can definitely defeat Jiren! Krillin had been Goku's best friend since they were children. His voice and his unwavering trust gave Goku the strength he needed. Slowly, Goku began to move. He forced himself to stand up once more.
Jiren lost his calm when he saw this. How is this possible? You shouldn't have any strength left to stand! Why do you keep getting up every time I knock you down? He couldn't understand where this power was coming from.
Goku looked at him with determined eyes. Android 17, Vegeta, and all my other friends have entrusted their hopes to me. I'm carrying their feelings now. Because of that, I can't take even one step back!
Jiren screamed in anger. Shut up! Your feelings mean nothing! In front of my absolute power, everything you say is meaningless!
The two warriors started fighting again, but something was different. Goku's speed increased once more. He was moving even faster than he had been just moments ago. This shocked the people of Universe 11. It was hard enough to believe he stood up, but how could he possibly be getting stronger while he was so injured?
Piccolo, Master Roshi, and Krillin watched from the stands, knowing the answer. Goku isn't just fighting for himself anymore. He carries all of our feelings with him. He has companions to train with and grow with, and that is a very valuable thing.
That is what ignited his fighting spirit. Goku would never say he reached this level just by his own strength. It's because of the person he is that we are all here supporting him. Some of us were his enemies when we first met, but now, everyone has put their hopes in his hands.
