With Son Goku ambushed and severely injured, Vegeta stepped onto the battlefield to take control. He commanded Gohan and Krillin to retreat with the fallen warrior and administer a Senzu Bean immediately.
Standing alone against the tyrant, Vegeta prepared to face the monster that had haunted his past. Frieza, however, remained arrogant, wearing a sneer of pure condescension. In his eyes, Vegeta was still the same insignificant ant he had effortlessly crushed on Namek years ago.
That arrogance vanished in an instant. Frieza's eyes widened in genuine shock as a violent, divine pressure erupted from the Prince of Saiyans.
Before him stood Vegeta, wreathed in the same shimmering, azure aura that Goku had displayed—the unmistakable power of Super Saiyan Blue. This revelation stunned Gohan and the others as well. Historically, Vegeta had always trailed one step behind Kakarot.
When Goku first unlocked the legendary Super Saiyan form, it took Vegeta years of agonizing effort to catch up.
During the battle with Majin Buu, Goku had already mastered Super Saiyan 3 while Vegeta required Babidi's dark sorcery just to narrow the gap at the Super Saiyan 2 level. Even the ritual for Super Saiyan God had first belonged to Goku.
Yet here, the gap had finally closed. After recovering with the Senzu Bean, Goku explained to the group that Vegeta hadn't relied on a ritual; he had reached the realm of Super Saiyan God through sheer will and solitary training, eventually ascending to the Blue form.
Frieza's composure crumbled into a panicked sweat. Vegeta glared at him with cold, murderous intent, reminding the tyrant that unlike Kakarot, he possessed no mercy for his enemies.
Vegeta unleashed a relentless assault. His fists moved like lightning, each blow fueled by decades of suppressed rage. The sheer force of his Ki battered Frieza into the dirt, eventually draining the tyrant's stamina so thoroughly that he was forced out of his Golden Form and back into his final state.
"Yes! Finally!" Vegeta shouted from within his spaceship, his eyes glued to the multidimensional video screen. Seeing his future self dominate the monster who destroyed his race was the ultimate catharsis. For so long, this goal had eluded him.
He had been too weak on Namek, and when he finally gained the power to kill Frieza, his son Trunks had already finished the job. But now, the screen showed a reality where the vengeance was his alone. Frieza was at his mercy.
Meanwhile, on his own ship, Frieza's face turned ashen. He wasn't just enraged by the beating; he was disgusted by his own counterpart's tactical failures. If his other self hadn't rushed to Earth so impatiently without mastering the Golden Form's stamina drain, he wouldn't be in this pathetic state.
Even with Goku out of the way, Vegeta remained a lethal threat. Was he truly destined to die at the hands of another Saiyan? First the son, and now the father. He realized then why he hated Goku most of all—not because Goku killed him, but because Goku was the first to ever shatter his ego and defeat him.
The Wanjie Multiverse chat group erupted with commentary. Zhang Chulan remarked that this was a textbook lesson in why one should never rush revenge, noting that Frieza's impatience was his ultimate downfall.
Kakashi agreed, pointing out that if Frieza had simply waited to master his transformation, he might have actually succeeded, especially since Lord Beerus had promised not to interfere. Akira and Tien Shinhan debated whether Beerus was telling the truth or if he simply foresaw Frieza's inevitable exhaustion.
Li Haotian and the other viewers leaned toward Tien Shinhan's theory—that a God of Destruction's insight is absolute. Even Kurosaki Ichigo and Daigo noted that despite Frieza's massive power leap, he still trembled in the shadow of Beerus, suggesting the God's ceiling was still far higher.
Uzumaki Naruto couldn't help but find the irony in Frieza being systematically dismantled by the Vegeta family, while Genos compared the situation to Cell's demise at the hands of the Goku family. It seemed certain that Frieza's end had arrived.
However, just as the viewers prepared to witness the final blow, the flow of destiny took a sudden, catastrophic turn.
