Chapter 35 - A weird Favor

Lastly, Silas and Asia spent time together as she took him to the ferris wheel.

It stood tall above the entire park, its slow rotations giving a full view of Kuoh as the sun dipped lower toward the horizon.

The lights along its frame had already begun to glow, flickering softly as evening approached.

The carts were large, easily able to fit a small family, but it was just the two of them who stepped inside.

Asia sat across from him at first, her hands resting neatly on her lap as she looked around with quiet wonder.

"It's… beautiful," she said softly as the cart slowly began to rise.

The ground moved farther away, the noise of the park becoming quieter the higher they went. The breeze was cooler up there, brushing gently against them.

Silas leaned back slightly, watching her more than the view.

"You've never been on one before?" he asked.

She shook her head.

"No," she replied. "This is my first time."

Her eyes sparkled as she looked out over the park, taking in everything the lights, the people, the distant buildings beyond the amusement park.

"I always imagined things like this," she added quietly.

Silas glanced outside briefly, then back at her.

"Disappointed?"

She quickly shook her head again.

"No, not at all," she said, smiling. "It's even better than I thought."

There was a small pause as the cart continued to rise.

Then Asia looked back at him. "Thank you… for today," she said.

Silas raised an eyebrow slightly. "You've said that a lot."

She laughed softly, a bit embarrassed. "I know… but I mean it." Her fingers lightly gripped the edge of her skirt.

Silas looked at her for a moment. Then nodded slightly.

" It's okay"

The cart reached the top. For a moment, it slowed. Everything below them stretched out in a wide view lights, movement, the entire park glowing beneath the evening sky.

Asia leaned forward slightly, looking out. Then she glanced back at him.

Her expression softer now. "I'm glad it was with you," she said quietly.

Silas smirked faintly.

"Careful," he said. "You're gonna make it sound like a date."

Asia froze. Her face immediately turned red. "I—I didn't mean it like that!" she said quickly, flustered.

Silas chuckled. "Relax."

She looked away, still blushing. "…It wouldn't be a bad thing though," she added quietly, almost under her breath.

Silas heard it. He didn't comment. The cart began descending slowly, the soft creaking of the mechanism barely audible as the lights of the amusement park flickered below them. The moment lingered between them—unspoken, but alot was said or something.

It was quiet, calm and for Asia. Perfect.

[A/N: perfect you say?]

She stole a small glance at him again, her blush still present, but softer now. The earlier nervousness had faded into something warmer, something she didn't quite understand yet.

The ride came to an end. The cart touched the ground gently, and the door opened.

They stepped out. The rest of the day went on well. The group met up again, sharing small moments food stalls, laughter, and light teasing between them.

Koneko held onto her prizes, Issei complained about his luck, Kiba somehow ended up surrounded by more girls again, and Rias and Akeno occasionally sent glances Silas's way, each with their own intent.

Asia stayed close to them, quietly enjoying everything, her earlier worries completely gone for now. Eventually, night arrived.

The sky darkened, and the lights of the park shone brighter as people slowly began leaving.

So did they. The group gathered near the entrance before parting ways.

Asia stood beside Rias. From now on. She would live with her. Rias placed a gentle hand on her shoulder, reassuring her as the rest of the peerage spoke among themselves.

Silas glanced at her briefly before turning away.

With that, they all went their separate ways. Silas returned to his apartment.

The space greeted him with silence as usual. The city lights filtered through the window, casting a soft glow across the room.

He walked straight to the bathroom.

Soon, the sound of running water filled the apartment as he took a bath, letting the warmth wash over him, easing the day's fatigue. Afterward, he returned to his room.

He laid down on his bed, staring at the ceiling for a moment.

A slow breath left him. The events of the day passed through his mind, fights, conversations, small moments. Then his eyes closed and he drifted to sleep soon enough.

....

A few days had slipped by in a comfortable blur of school, club activities, and the occasional late-night training session. The Occult Research Club had settled into a strange new rhythm with Asia now among them still shy and adjusting, but slowly warming to her new life as Rias's Bishop.

It was deep into the night, well past midnight. Silas's apartment was dimly lit by the soft blue glow of the small television screen.

He stood half-naked in the middle of the floor, wearing only loose black sweatpants that hung low on his hips, the defined lines of his abs and chest catching the flickering light with every sharp movement.

The Just Dance game blared from the speakers some upbeat pop track from 2016 that was catchy enough to pass the time.

His body moved with surprising precision through the on-screen choreography, muscles flexing as he hit the combos.

'Gotta wait twelve damn years for Bully ,' he thought with mild annoyance during a brief loading screen. 'That's actually insane.'

Suddenly, a vivid crimson magic circle flared to life in the center of the room, its intricate patterns spinning slowly before pulsing with power.

Silas froze mid-combo, controller still in hand, sweat glistening lightly on his skin from the exertion.

He watched as the light coalesced and Rias Gremory materialized in a swirl of red energy and flowing hair.

'Wonder why she's here,' he thought, lowering the controller slightly.

Rias's crimson eyes immediately locked onto him, more accurately, onto his bare, well-toned upper body.

The way the dim light carved shadows across his chest, shoulders, and the faint V-line disappearing into his sweatpants made her cheeks flush a deep, noticeable pink.

She cleared her throat awkwardly, trying (and failing) to keep her gaze respectful.

"Ahem… I am sorry for barging in without announcing myself," she said, voice slightly higher than usual as her eyes kept drifting back to his physique despite her best efforts.

"No problem," Silas replied with an easy smirk, setting the controller down on the couch. "I enjoy night surprises from cute girls."

The compliment brought a small, genuine smile to her lips. She stepped closer, the soft click of her heels echoing faintly in the quiet room until she stopped right in front of him close enough that he could smell the faint rose-and-musk scent of her skin and hair.

Rias hesitated for a moment, then raised one delicate hand. Her palm pressed lightly against his chest, fingers spreading over the warm, firm muscle. The touch was tentative but lingering, her fingertips tracing on his skin.

"Could you please do me a favor?" she asked, her voice soft and laced with unmistakable longing as she stared up into his eyes.

"As long as it's within my power," Silas answered, tone light but sincere. "Basically I'm saying shoot, everything is within my power."

Rias stared at him blankly for a beat, then let out a soft, exasperated huff.

"Will you ever not boast about how powerful you are?"

"Maybe on my deathbed," he shot back with a crooked smirk.

She smiled and shook her head, the tension in her shoulders easing just a fraction. Her hand remained on his chest as she took a small breath.

"Well… my favor is…" She paused, then gently grabbed his wrist and guided his palm upward, pressing it firmly against the soft swell of her left breast through the thin fabric of her nightgown. "Please take my virginity."

The request hung heavy in the air.

Silas looked straight into her crimson eyes, searching, reading every micro-expression. He could see it clearly now: the desperation mixed with genuine attraction.

She did like him, perhaps more than she'd admitted even to herself, but this wasn't purely desire. There was pressure behind it, a weight that didn't belong in an intimate moment like this

' I mean i know why she's doing this for. Kinda offended lowkey. At least she came to me I guess ' he thought.

He let out a slow, quiet sigh and gently pulled his hand away from her chest.

"Nah," he said simply, stepping back and dropping onto the couch with casual grace, legs spreading as he lounged against the cushions.

Rias's eyes widened in genuine shock, her mouth parting slightly.

"Huh? Are you not attracted to me?" she asked, voice cracking with surprise and a hint of hurt. "You fondled my breasts yesterday without any problems. In fact… I saw a very obvious tent in your pants."

"True," Silas admitted, meeting her gaze steadily. "But right now, you're not the Rias I'm used to. This feels forced , like something came up that pushed you into wanting this. Is it one of those 'responsibilities' you mentioned before? The ones tied to your family?"

Hearing that, Rias's shoulders slumped. She opened her mouth to respond, a complicated mix of emotions flickering across her face.

Before she could speak, another magic circle bloomed in the center of the room this one silver and far more intricate, radiating an aura of refined, overwhelming power.

The light condensed, and a woman stepped out with elegant poise.

She was dressed in the impeccable uniform of a high-class maid: a long black dress with crisp white accents, frilled apron, and a delicate headpiece that framed her striking features.

Her hair was a sleek, luminous silver that fell in perfect waves down her back, and her eyes sharp, piercing gray matched the cool, composed aura she carried.

From the sheer presence alone, the demonic energy rolling off her in controlled waves, it was clear she was no ordinary servant.

This was Grayfia Lucifuge.
