With Silas and Rias, they walked together, hand in hand, moving deeper into the amusement park as colorful lights flickered around them.
The sound of laughter, music, and distant screams from roller coasters filled the air, creating a lively atmosphere.
Rias stayed close to him, her fingers intertwined with his as if she had no intention of letting go anytime soon.
"So," she began, glancing at him from the corner of her eye, "you really handled everything on your own last night."
Silas shrugged lightly."Wasn't much to handle."
Rias smiled faintly."Destroying an entire church and wiping out fallen angels isn't 'not much' for most people."
He chuckled. "Well I am the one and only Silas Morvane. So that makes sense doesn't it"
She slowed her pace slightly, turning her head to look at him properly. "That much is obvious."
There was curiosity in her gaze.
"And Raynare?" she asked. "You didn't finish her."
Silas looked ahead, his expression relaxed. "I could have," he said. "Just didn't feel like it at the time."
Rias raised an eyebrow. "You're unusually merciful for someone who blew up a church."
Silas smirked. "Or maybe I just like leaving loose ends."
Rias studied him for a second before letting out a soft laugh. "That's dangerous."
"Only for them," he replied.
They passed by a large roller coaster, the tracks rattling loudly as a cart sped down, people screaming as it dropped.
Rias glanced at it briefly, then back at him.
"So," she said, her tone shifting slightly, "Asia."
Silas looked at her."What about her?"
"She seems… attached to you already," Rias said casually, though there was a hint of something underneath her words.
Silas shrugged. "She's just grateful."
Rias hummed."Is that all?"
Silas glanced at her, catching the subtle jealousy in her eyes.
"You jealous?" he asked.
Rias stopped walking for a split second. Then smiled. "Maybe."
She didn't deny it. Instead, she tightened her grip on his hand slightly and stepped a little closer.
"But can you blame me?" she added. "You're quite… popular."
Silas chuckled. "Sounds like a you problem."
Rias laughed softly. "You're impossible."
They continued walking, eventually slowing near a large ride. Rias looked up at it, then back at him with a playful smile.
"How about this one?"
Silas followed her gaze. A tall roller coaster loomed above them. He smirked.
"Trying to test me?"
Rias leaned closer, her voice dropping slightly. "Maybe I just want to see if you can handle it."
Silas squeezed her hand lightly. "I think you should be more worried about yourself."
Rias's smile widened. "Then let's find out." She tugged him forward toward the ride.
The two went on the ride, taking their seats side by side as the safety bars came down over them. Around them, other people were buzzing with excitement, some nervous, others already laughing in anticipation.
The ride slowly began to move.
Click.
Click.
Click.
The cart climbed higher and higher, the entire park becoming visible beneath them. Wind rushed past as they reached the peak.
Then it dropped. The rollercoaster shot downward at high speed, twisting through loops and sharp turns as screams filled the air.
Yet for the two of them…It didn't really do much. They had both flown far faster than this. To them, it felt more like a light jog than a thrill ride.
Silas sat there casually, one hand resting against the bar, completely unfazed.
Rias, despite everything, leaned slightly into the motion at first but even she quickly realized how underwhelming it was.
The ride ended almost as quickly as it began. They stepped off. Rias laughed softly, brushing her hair back as she looked at him.
"That was… something," she said, her tone amused.
Silas smirked slightly. "Yeah, something." He glanced around. "Let's get some drinks."
She nodded.
They walked over to a nearby stand, the scent of sugary drinks and snacks filling the air. The vendor greeted them quickly, and Rias ordered without hesitation.
A couple of cold drinks were handed over. Rias paid before Silas could even reach for anything.
"I'll cover everything for you today," she said casually.
Silas raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
She smiled. "Consider it… my treat."
Silas didn't argue. He took the drink. "Works for me."
They stepped away from the stand, sipping their drinks as they walked slowly through the park.
' I am a firm believer in 50/50,' he thought.
After hanging out with Rias for a while going on a few more rides, walking through different parts of the park, and occasionally stopping for snacks when Akeno finally made her move.
She approached them with her usual calm smile, though there was a clear intent behind it.
"My turn," she said sweetly.
Before Rias could even respond, Akeno gently slipped her arm around Silas's other side and pulled him away.
Rias froze. Her eye twitched slightly as she watched them walk off.
"Akeno…" she muttered under her breath, clearly annoyed.
Akeno only waved back over her shoulder with a soft giggle.
Silas didn't resist. He simply let himself be taken. Soon, the two of them made their way to the other side of the park, where things were quieter.
The loud roller coasters and crowded attractions faded into the distance, replaced by calmer scenery.
They arrived at a water boat ride that slowly drifted along an artificial river. Soft lights reflected on the water.
It was peaceful. They stepped into one of the small boats, sitting across from each other as it began to move along the gentle current.
The ride carried them forward slowly, passing under small bridges and alongside decorative trees and lanterns.
Akeno rested her chin lightly on her hand, watching him with a soft smile.
"So," she began, her voice smooth, "you let me steal you that easily."
Silas leaned back slightly. "Didn't feel like resisting."
Akeno's smile widened. "How kind of you."
There was a pause. Then she leaned forward just a little. "You enjoyed your time with Rias?"
Silas smirked. "Yeah, she's interesting."
Akeno hummed softly. "Interesting…" she repeated, her tone playful. "That's one way to put it."
Her fingers lightly traced along the edge of the boat. "And what about me?" she asked.
Silas met her gaze. "What about you?"
Akeno tilted her head slightly. "Am I… interesting?"
There was a teasing glint in her eyes. Silas didn't answer immediately. He let the silence sit for a moment as the boat drifted forward.
"I think you're dangerous," he said.
Akeno's smile deepened. "Is that a bad thing?"
Silas leaned slightly closer. "Depends who you ask honestly"
Akeno's eyes softened slightly, though the teasing never left."I think you like dangerous things."
Silas chuckled quietly. "Maybe."
The boat passed under a small bridge, shadows briefly covering them before the light returned.
Akeno leaned back this time, crossing her legs slightly.
"You know," she said, "Saturday feels very far away."
Silas raised an eyebrow. "Impatient?"
Akeno smiled. "Just a little."
Silas looked at her for a moment, then smirked. "Good things take time."
Akeno laughed softly. "Then I'll be looking forward to it."
The boat continued drifting along the water, the quiet atmosphere wrapping around them as their conversation continued less like talking.
After the boat ride ended, the two stepped off onto the wooden platform. The soft rocking of the water stilled behind them as the next group got on.
Before Akeno could say anything else. A small hand grabbed Silas's sleeve.
It was Koneko.
She looked up at him with her usual blank expression.
"My turn," she said simply.
And just like that. He was taken again. Akeno watched them walk away, her smile still present. She didn't move to stop them. Instead, she let out a soft chuckle under her breath.
A hand rested gently on her shoulder. Akeno froze for a split second before turning. Rias stood there. Smiling but it wasn't just a normal smile. Akeno smiled back sheepishly.
'I'm in big trouble,' she thought.
Meanwhile.
Silas walked with Koneko toward a row of carnival stalls. Brightly colored stands lined the area, filled with games, prizes, and flashing lights. The sounds of bells ringing and people cheering filled the air.
Koneko stopped in front of a shooting game. Without saying much, she pointed.
"That one."
Silas glanced at it. "Easy."
He stepped forward, picked up the toy gun, and within seconds.
Pop.
Pop.
Pop.
Every target dropped cleanly. The vendor blinked in surprise before handing over a prize.
A small plush toy. Koneko took it quietly. "Thank you."
They moved to another game. Ring toss. Silas tossed them casually. Every ring landed perfectly.
Another prize. This time, a slightly bigger plush. Koneko held both now. Still expressionless but her grip tightened slightly. A small sign of satisfaction. They continued like that, moving from game to game. Silas winning effortlessly. Koneko collecting prizes.
They weren't much talkers. But every now and then.
"Next one," she'd say. Or "Not bad."
Silas would respond with something simple.
"Obviously." Or "You want that one too?"
The conversation was minimal. But comfortable. At one point, Koneko glanced up at him."You're strong."
Silas looked down at her. "You noticed?"
She nodded. "Yesterday too."
Silas smirked slightly. "Good observation."
Koneko looked forward again as they walked. Then quietly. "Stay with me a bit longer."
Silas paused for half a second. Then nodded. "Sure why not" and they continued, the noise of the carnival surrounding them as they moved from one game to the next.
