Noa scratched his head. It seemed that what Eris said was indeed reasonable.
"So what do you want to do? Should I just take a photo afterward?" he asked casually.
Eris shook her head firmly.
"There's no need to go that far. Just get an adventurer card. When you defeat the Demon King, the system will automatically record the achievement. That record cannot be forged. It's the most reliable proof."
"I see. That works too."
Noa did not object. Compared to other complicated verification methods, this one was straightforward and efficient enough for him.
Without further delay, the two headed toward the Adventurer's Guild.
When they entered the building, they once again met Luna.
"Miss Chris, Mr. Noa, welcome. How may I assist you today?" Luna greeted them politely, her tone instantly brightening when she noticed Noa.
Eris did not waste time on small talk.
"Please help him register as an adventurer and issue him a card."
She placed the required handling fee on the counter as she spoke.
"Of course! Please follow me," Luna replied immediately, her enthusiasm noticeably increasing once she realized they were here for a formal registration.
The process was familiar. They were guided to the registration area, where Noa placed his hand on the activation device used to create adventurer identity cards. The magical tool responded instantly, glowing with a soft light as it read his information and began forming the card.
Within moments, the process was complete.
Just like when Eris had accompanied Esdeath and the others previously, Noa was also given the option to choose a profession during registration. The system would assign corresponding abilities and skill structures based on the selected role.
Noa barely hesitated.
"I'll choose Great Mage."
The decision was straightforward.
There was no need for overthinking. At this stage, what he needed most was a direct increase in magical capacity and control. According to Luna's previous explanation, the Great Mage class included a variety of passive enhancements that improved mana reserves, efficiency, and overall spell stability. These were precisely the areas he found most useful at the moment.
As for the rest of the class skills, Noa did not consider them particularly important. To him, most structured abilities provided by the system were merely references rather than necessities.
If he truly wanted a specific skill, he could replicate or reconstruct it himself using his own understanding of magic. In that sense, the job system was more of a shortcut framework for beginners rather than something he needed to rely on.
Additionally, this system was not even his original development platform. It was merely a temporary interface for convenience. Because of that, Noa treated the entire process with a casual attitude, following Eris's recommendation without much personal investment.
What mattered most right now was efficiency.
He needed to eliminate the Demon King as quickly as possible, complete the mission, and gain access to the exchange authority system. Delays would only increase uncertainty, and in his experience, unnecessary variables were rarely beneficial.
The sooner everything was resolved, the better.
That was the simplest and most practical approach.
Once the card formation finished, Noa accepted it without much reaction. The process was smooth, routine, and uneventful.
Eris observed him quietly from the side. Although she did not say anything, she could sense that Noa's priorities were already firmly locked onto the upcoming confrontation.
There was no hesitation in him.
Only direction.
