He looked at Dakota through the mirror before walking over to her. "You're not ready yet?" he asked, his voice carrying quiet amusement.
Dakota had already finished dressing. Elena had helped her apply body oil and choose her clothes, and all that remained was a touch of lip balm as she studied her reflection in the mirror.
"I'm done," she mumbled softly without turning around. "I'm just fixing my lips."
Kade stopped behind her and slipped his arms gently around her waist, drawing her back against his chest. His reflection appeared beside hers in the mirror.
