Rey led me into another lounge away from the sleeping quarters. The moment the door closed behind us, the silence pressed heavily against my chest again. Jared was finally asleep, but my wolf instincts refused to settle. Elliot was still out there somewhere, injured and hunted beneath a foreign mountain range.
After sitting down across from me, Rey finally spoke.
"President Presgrave has two people he trusts with his life," he said calmly. "If they're moving, then President Presgrave still has a chance."
I immediately looked up. "Who are they?"
"The Lloyd family and the Weiss family." Rey folded his hands together before continuing. "I don't know everything about them either. President Presgrave rarely speaks about his past, but he once told me Old Madam Presgrave sent him away when he was eight years old."
I frowned slightly.
