Chapter 195 - Chapter 195: Unlimited Void vs. Malevolent Shrine! Domain Clash!

The hand-to-hand opened cleanly.

Sukuna's first strike came with the force of something that had been waiting a thousand years to have a worthy target — a crushing, heavy kick that hit Gojo's Infinity and was absorbed by it with the geometric ripple that the franchise had been using all season to communicate that defense: not blocked, not deflected, simply processed and found insufficient.

Gojo's counterpunch was faster.

In terms of pure, close-quarters output, Gojo was visibly superior. Every blow he delivered landed with a clarity that communicated the gap between someone who is the best at this and someone who is merely extraordinary at it. But Sukuna's Domain Amplification acted as a localized bypass, stripping the guaranteed-hit protection from his own domain and applying it as constant, cutting pressure on the Infinity's exterior. Shallow burns appearing across Gojo's skin with each exchange, accumulating with the patient arithmetic of something that was playing a long game.

The audience's understanding of the situation arrived gradually and was not comforting: Sukuna was not trying to win quickly. He was trying to make winning expensive.

From the prep room monitors, Xander Reid's Kashimo watched with the expression of a man observing something structurally unfair.

"This is like playing against a cheater," he said, his voice carrying the specific helpless quality of a four-hundred-year veteran who has never seen a defense like this and is watching someone find a way through it. "The seamless switching between technique usage and Domain Amplification, the efficiency of his Cursed Energy flow... if Gojo didn't possess the Six Eyes to calculate the vectors at an atomic level, Sukuna might have already taken his head."

Yuta stood to the side, brow furrowed. "Sukuna's total reserve is monstrous. At least double my own — which means he can sustain this output indefinitely."

Devon Shaw's Hakari crossed his arms. "Why haven't they expanded their domains? They've been trading blows for several minutes."

Kusakabe, his expression grim, spoke up without looking away from the monitor:

"Because it's a gamble. Satoru uses a standard barrier to trap his opponent. But Sukuna's domain is barrier-less—it paints its reality directly onto empty space. The moment Gojo deploys his barrier, Sukuna's guaranteed-hit attack will strike it from the outside, where it's incredibly weak."

Higuruma, quiet until now, adjusted his glasses.

"The stalemate is breaking," he said. "Look."

Beverly Hills. Starlight Management.

Della Rose had been clutching a cushion since the hand-to-hand sequence began. The room — Maya West, Julian Cross, Zoe, Olivia — had the specific atmosphere of people who have been watching something together for long enough that individual reactions have merged into a collective state. Tense. Invested. Barely breathing.

When the domain battle started and Gojo performed the first hand seal, the VFX rendered it with the hyper-realistic quality that Celestial Peak had been deploying all season, not the glowing gestures of other shows but something that looked like a man handling forces that were real and indifferent to spectacle.

Della Rose said, with complete sincerity and zero irony: "The hand seal posture is so devastatingly handsome. Leo Vance please stop doing this to me."

The room turned to look at her with the collective expression of people who had been thinking something similar and were grateful someone else said it first.

Julian Cross gave her a slow thumbs-up. "Bold. I respect it."

Zoe F. was blushing slightly. "Della, I didn't realize your personal taste ran this... intense."

"I-- I meant the special effects were so realistic I felt like the gravity was actually crushing me!" Della said immediately, her face red. "I just wanted someone to wake me up from the nightmare!"

The group offered the collective, knowing smile of people who had decided to let her continue making her case.

On the screen, the domain battle had reached its critical point.

Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void.

The first clash established the structural problem immediately.

Both domains activated simultaneously, their internal guaranteed-hit effects canceling each other, the standard outcome when two domains of comparable power overlap. But Sukuna's Malevolent Shrine was an open-barrier domain. No physical shell. Its operational radius extended to a massive two hundred meters, and because Gojo's domain was a closed barrier, its exterior was completely exposed to Sukuna's slashes from the outside.

Kusakabe's voice came through the monitor feed, explaining it for the students behind him:

"It's like a glass bottle in a crushing ocean," Kusakabe muttered, the monitors reflecting in his eyes.

"The closed barrier of Gojo's domain is the bottle, keeping the pressure out. But Sukuna's open domain completely surrounds it. It's not trading blows from the inside, Sukuna's slashes are bombarding Gojo's barrier from the outside, where it was never meant to take a hit. The shell can't hold that kind of external pressure."

The outer shell of Gojo's domain shattered like silver glass.

Gojo was enveloped by the endless, violent storm of Sukuna's slashes, his body carved into a lattice of deep, bleeding cuts that accumulated with the specific, relentless efficiency of a technique designed for exactly this purpose. His Reverse Cursed Technique operated at maximum capacity, skin weaving itself back together even as the slashes tore it apart. He threw down a Simple Domain to buy seconds of breathing room. The slashes shattered it instantly.

Miwa, watching the monitor with a pale face, stammered, "Is his Cursed Energy running dry?"

Finn Blake turned to him. His voice was firm, precise, carrying the absolute certainty of someone who has studied this man. "Impossible. Teacher's energy consumption is managed at an atomic level by the Six Eyes. It is mathematically impossible for him to run out."

"But under this continuous high-intensity output, he's deployed Simple Domains and the Reverse Cursed Technique constantly!" Yuji pressed, gripping the edge of the table. "Can Gojo-sensei actually survive this?"

The live-chat was split — half terror, half faith:

[The cuts are accumulating. He's healing faster than Sukuna can cut but the margin is so thin. One mistake in the calculation and it doesn't heal in time.]

[Yuta just said it's mathematically impossible for Gojo to run out of energy and I choose to believe him with everything I have.]

[The most stressful television I have ever watched. My hands are shaking. My hands are genuinely shaking.]

Gojo suddenly smiled.

He accelerated.

Disregarding the slashes carving through his flesh, he closed the distance in a fraction of a millisecond, wrapping his arms around Sukuna in a tight, inescapable hold. He bent his waist, extending his right palm directly against Sukuna's chest.

"Cursed Technique Reversal: Red!"

With blood splattered across his face, the dark crimson sphere of intense repulsive force bloomed in his palm and detonated at contact range. Rather than firing it as a projectile, he unleashed the point-blank repulsion directly into Sukuna's sternum, blasting him through the air and crashing him violently into his own shrine

The release of accumulated tension produced a sound the theater could feel.

[Gojo is absolutely insane! He is literally being ripped to shreds by the ultimate domain, and instead of backing off, he smiles and charges straight into the teeth of the storm. Just when you think you've seen everything he can do, he pulls off something completely unbelievable!]

[That point-blank Red blast was pure disrespect! He didn't just fire it at Sukuna — he literally grabbed him by the shirt and handed it to him like a personal delivery. The absolute audacity to pull that off in the middle of Sukuna's own domain is unmatched!]

[I am completely speechless after that ending. My jaw is on the floor, and I already know I'm going to have to replay this exact sequence many times over just to process how incredible that comeback was!]
