AKAME ASSASINATION (35)
Without so much as a second thought Jericho jumped out of the hammer her hands stretched.
ORGANIC ALCHEMY: CARBON BASED ROD!
From her palms black rods emerged colliding with the tough hides of the creatures, which as one might assume, it did no damage bouncing off the creature's skin. This seemed to have gotten them a bit mad as now they turned growling at the crew.
"You just had to piss them off, didn't you?" Angel retorted now taking her own stance outside the hammer.
'Those, there just like the one I fought with the old man.' Gil stretched his head looking out into the newly forged battlefield. 'They are supper strong, and I wasn't able to completely wipe them out.'
"We better go help Iman." Ted opened the boot of the truck jumping out hitting the ground with a THUMP!
'Miss Angel used a healing hand on me… or something like that, so my body is kind of good but to say I'm at peak physical condition would be a lie.'
Throwing himself into this fight when he couldn't even win against the other one seemed like a death sentence. He still had broken bones, a dislocated shoulder and his vision still wasn't good. But to sit here and do nothing might have been an even greater sin.
Gil gritted his teeth and was about to jump out when Nala grabbed his wrist furiously shaking her head. With her free hand she pointed at the creatures or so it would appear.
"I know, I'm going to help." Gil tried to reassure her he wasn't running away. But Nala didn't think he was, in fact that's probably what she was trying to entice him to run away with her. Gil just couldn't understand her cues.
Suddenly the car moved back as Jericho slammed on to the hood with such force it created a dent.
"God fucking damn it!" Justine exclaimed from inside the car, "I just rented this thing."
The creature jumped high its claw like hands threatening to rip her apart if she didn't move. She dared defy human reflexes and instead created a long carbon rod that she used to block the attack although it pushed her deeper onto the hammer's hood. Another one jumped on top sinking its teeth Into the roof and with one swipe completely removing it to reveal the internal components.
Justine looked up at the thing, "Damn, its really huge."
It was about to jump onto them but a spear appeared diving right through the creature's stomach. Nala used her free hand to summon it.
"I can probably help too." Gil coughed. His mind racing to find a solution on the current matter, even though he was trying his hardest his body just wouldn't allow for him to act on any of those impulses.
"Ted, I need a bit of help here." Jericho barked at Teddy who came running and shouldered the creature away from Jericho with followed up with her rod hitting it on its knee, then the side of its chest, then finally on its head. A three way strike, a technique she had managed to borrow from elsewhere.
EARTH ALCHEMY: FORGE OF CREATION!
Teddy clapped his hand then while he was kneeling he pressed them hard against the ground, suddenly the soft earth beneath the soil sprouted up creating tables of rectangular earth.
"Angel!" Jericho shouted.
"Yeah, yeah, you don't have to yell at me." She bawled her fists and with a thunderous punch on the side of one of the rectangular pillars sent a shock wave through the entire structure destroying it with a boom.
"Don't let up, we need to keep going at them." Jericho gave the order.
"Who the hell made you the leader?" Angel asked, her pride clearly being tested.
"Shut your bitch ass up!" Jericho roared, "We just need to survive--"
Before she could finish her sentence, a crescent size hole appeared on her chest. It came without warning and with no initial build up of energy.
"!"
Blood gushed out like a fountain, and this was Teddy's time to look up and see a void with horns pointed directly at Jericho. It then switched its trajectory towards Teddy who blocked it by creating a giant wall.
BOOM!
A circular whole was made through the wall and it pressed on the hood of the hammer completely destroying it.
"Man, I need a raise." Justine jumped out of the way, which in this case meant out of the hammer and a bit to the side.
"Stop complaining and get you ass over here!" Angel yelled at him.
On the side the grotesque sight of Jericho's flesh patching back together. Half of her body now naked and exposed. "Yeah, what the fuck are you even doing?" She asked.
"Bitch! Do I look like I wanna die today!" Justine waved his hand, "You guys have fun with that."
"Damn your so fucking useless." Angel said in a fit of anger.
"We don't need him, Teddy get the formation ready." Jericho ordered tapping her hand on her skin.
SHHHH!
She now wrapped the visible part of her body with a black coating made of her own carbon.
ORGANIC ALCHEMY: CARBON COATING!
"I count five of them." The ground beneath her began to rise as Angel shouted this.
"Watch out for the one with the horn." Jericho nodded at her.
"I ain't blind, I know."
"I just don't want your ass to haunt me."
"As if."
Teddy remained on the ground to offer tactical support from the ground level.
'They seem to just be wild animals despite looking like that.' Angel thought to herself as she analyzed them. Two of the voids looked the exact same, they stood on hind legs and had human skulls for heads and ashy skin.
The other ones were the same except for some distinctions. One had two long horns that seemed to converge at the tip, the other one had a beefed up body with a six pack and the last one had a spider like build. Whatever these mutations were they seemed to enhance the humanoid aspect of the voids.
But they lacked the tactical genius of Jericho and her team… or most of her team anyway. About 10 meters off the ground they stared each other down, the voids seemed to have taken into account their power levels.
"You ready?" Jericho mused.
"Please, this isn't training. Have you forgotten I hold a record of never being defeated at the academy?"
"And have you forgotten that this isn't the academy?"
"Guys Look out!" Teddy shouted.
The spired like void moved its many legs. With no hesitation what so ever, Angel moved her speed increasing with increase of fragment energy to her legs. She raised her fists and punched the creature breaking the pillar it was on.
Yes, a legendary fight was about to ensue.

MEANWHILE, ELSEWHERE!
'I have no use outside of being a burden that hold everyone down. I grant nothing but despair and suffering to everyone. I couldn't even die and just live in peace, to let everyone live in peace. I'm so….. I'm so done, I don't wanna live like this anymore.
Like my life is out of my hands… I hate living like this.' Catherine slumped against a pole bound by her hands develops a hatred for not only herself, but for the gods that had abandoned her long before any sin.
