Chapter 321 - Creator's True Identity

Chthon's face changed dramatically.

The Creator under the black robe also tensed his expression simultaneously, and the starlight around him began to flicker violently, as if infinite energy was condensing.

But after seeing the newcomer clearly, he relaxed.

The newcomer was Lucas.

Lucas, while wandering the Multiverse searching for materials to build the Ark, happened to pass nearby. After detecting the violent explosion here, he quietly rushed over.

However, he couldn't discern the situation for a while, so he had been hiding nearby and had not shown himself.

Now that the Celestials had left, and Chthon and Set had led him to the Creator, Lucas came out to say hello.

"Chthon, who is he?" Set asked.

The Creator and Chthon knew Lucas, but he did not.

"Lucas, a powerful sorcerer, very powerful."

Chthon was on guard and secretly contacted the Creator to prepare for action.

His identity had been called out. If he let Lucas leave, then he would be in danger.

However, the Creator's reply left Chthon puzzled.

Huh? One of us?

"Great and generous God of Black Magic, I did not expect your impression of me to be so shallow."

"Have you forgotten our tacit cooperation of yesteryear? Have you forgotten those days of chasing and playing? Have you forgotten those gifts you gave me?"

Chthon's lips twitched.

Everything Lucas said was his painful past.

Yes, the cooperation was tacit, easily deceiving those Watchers, but can you give me back my energy?

Despite all his dissatisfaction, Chthon could only secretly seethe in his heart, but outwardly, he chuckled and reintroduced Lucas.

"Sorcerer Lucas, Sorcerer Supreme of Kamar-Taj on Earth-404, Guardian of Earth-404. He is highly respected on Earth-404, revered by the world as God, Sea God, Messiah."

As Chthon rattled off a string of titles, Lucas finally realized that he was so highly respected on Earth-404.

After a long time, Chthon finally finished reciting that long string of honorifics.

Set pouted after hearing it. "Just a God on a Planet, huh."

Mid-sentence, Set remembered Lucas's mysterious appearance just now, where none of the three of them noticed him, as well as Chthon's first introduction of Lucas, and his voice gradually weakened.

The most important thing was the sudden chill that arose in Set's heart.

At this moment, the Creator suddenly spoke, "Sorcerer Lucas, I have a request."

Lucas smiled and replied, "Coincidentally, I also have something I'd like the Creator to help me with."

"What is it? Sorcerer Lucas, you speak first."

"The whereabouts of Galactus."

Lucas had been journeying through the Multiverse for over ten days.

With his exceptional speed, he traversed a small portion of the Multiverse in just a few days, and then, through persuasion, collected most of the materials.

But one thing was missing—Galactic Glaze.

He searched through half of the Multiverse but couldn't find any trace of Galactus.

He then spent another ten days searching, but still found nothing.

"Galactus? Doesn't that guy, who's always yelling about being hungry, have avatars in many Universes? Finding him shouldn't be that difficult, should it?" The Creator asked, surprised, having thought Lucas's request would be much harder to fulfill.

Lucas shrugged, "That's what I thought too, but apparently, that's not the case."

"Is that so? One moment." The Creator mumbled.

Then a wisp of starlight on his body continuously flickered, like a normal person making a phone call.

After a long time, the call connected, and a vast yet gentle voice emerged.

"Second Eternity, what can I do for him?"

"Galactus, where are you? I need your help with something."

"Second Eternity, I am currently in Taa III, a special space created by the Molecule Man. Also call me Galan."

"Alright, Galan, send me the coordinates. I'll come see you later."

The starlight on the Creator's body flickered rhythmically, and then he hung up the call with Galactus.

"Second Eternity?" Lucas looked at the Creator, confirming with some surprise.

Not only Lucas, but Chthon and Set also looked at the Creator, their eyes a mix of shock and confusion.

They had all heard Galactus's address to the Creator just now.

"Mm." The Creator nodded slightly, confirming everyone's guess.

"Hiss..."

Lucas gasped.

But then, Lucas thought it wasn't a big deal after all.

Judging by the Creator's actions and methods, he must be a Cosmic Being.

Cosmic Beings usually have a prominent reputation, well-known throughout the Multiverse. It was very strange for someone like the Creator to be unknown outside of Earth-616.

But if he wasn't a Cosmic Being of the current reality, but rather of a past Multiverse, then it made sense.

However, if that were the case...

The Creator had said that his feud with the Celestials stemmed from his world and civilization being destroyed by the Celestials.

If the Creator was the Second Eternity, then that would mean the Celestials destroyed the Second Multiverse?

Or, at the very least, the Celestials were a major catalyst in the destruction of the Second Multiverse.

This was a mortal enmity!

Lucas voiced his conjecture, and the Creator nodded silently.

Then, the Creator first recounted to Lucas the origins of the First Firmament, the Dark Celestials, the Celestials, and the Marvel world.

He paused, then added, "The Celestials achieved victory and expelled the First Firmament. Thus, new Universes were born from the fragments of the First Firmament."

"The Multiverse at that time was nascent, empty, and in need of reconstruction. The Celestials couldn't wait, and after only a few thousand years, they hastily initiated the cycle of the Multiverse."

"So that's how it is." Lucas nodded.

He had previously thought that the Creator's civilization was similar to the Watchers, a civilization standing at a sub-apex of the Multiverse, destroyed by the Celestials because it threatened their rule. He never imagined that the Creator himself was the civilization.

"The Celestials have truly committed many evils. A Multiverse was annihilated just like that. How many lives were slaughtered?"

Lucas lamented, preparing to raise his banner for the subsequent slaughter.

However, the Creator seemed a bit uncooperative, saying, "Actually, not many. The only life born in the Second Multiverse was the Beyonders."

Lucas paused, then rephrased, "As Cosmic Beings with immense power, we should use this power to protect the normal development of the Universe and respect the natural laws of Universe and civilization development."

"We should not, out of selfish desire, treat the Universe as our toy and the evolution of civilization as a game. The actions of the Celestials are an outrage to both Gods and men, and they should be punished."

The Creator clapped his hands, exclaiming, "Good!"

"Creator, please wait a moment, I'll be right back."

With that, Lucas took out the Sword of Dawn and chased after the retreating Celestial team.

In a flash, Lucas was back on the giant rock where the Creator was.

"I sympathize with his plight, Creator, but I need more money."

He paused, then added, "The difficulty and risk of what we're doing for each other are clearly not equal."

The Creator nodded in agreement, but remained silent for a long time.

Lucas asked, "What's wrong? Is there a problem?"

The Creator said calmly, a hint of helplessness in his voice, "Most of my energy was already used to trade with you, and now I can't find anything else to offer."

Lucas raised an eyebrow, he somewhat believed the Creator's statement.

The Creator was, after all, an Eternity of the past, not the current Eternity.

Being able to offer twenty percent of the World Tree's energy was probably related to some agreement he had with the current Eternity, otherwise...

"Alright, then Creator, you can put this on the tab and pay me back later." Lucas mumbled, then set off with his sword again.

He moved with lightning speed, and his appearance subtly changed.

A layer of black armor appeared on his body at some point, the armor writhing like a living entity. His exposed skin turned corpse-pale, and scarlet light flickered in his eyes, radiating an oppressive and deathly aura.

The pure white, sacred Sword of Dawn in his hand was also stained black, with dark energy surging within it.

Most importantly, his height also grew from 1.88 meters to 2.69 meters.

Lucas circled around to the front of the Celestials, then concealed himself in ambush, launching a sudden attack when the Celestial team passed by.

Wielding the black longsword, terrifying dark energy surged out, and the blade of the black longsword suddenly expanded hundreds of times, instantly beheading a Celestial.

"Knull?!"

The Celestials reacted in an instant, looking at the beheaded Celestial, and immediately became enraged.

"Knull, we granted him the title of King in Black to assist us in governing the Multiverse, and we did not pursue his murder of a Celestial too much, yet he repays us like this?!"

At this moment, the beheaded Celestial was not completely dead, but his head and body were simultaneously invaded by Primordial Dark Energy, decaying at an extremely rapid rate.

Even if he could be saved, he would never be able to regain the Celestials' original majestic form.

"You Celestials disturbed my slumber, intending to enslave me to serve you. And you still expect me to repay you?"

"I, Knull, am the incarnation of the Abyss, the God of Darkness. Why would I need the Celestials to grant me authority?"

"It is you Celestials who claim to be the rulers of the Multiverse, acting tyrannically, making countless beings dare not speak out in anger."

"Today, I will draw my sword on behalf of the many beings oppressed by you, and the many civilizations slaughtered by you, to demand justice from you Celestials."

"Incarnation of the Abyss, God of Darkness? I didn't expect that after your resurrection, you would become... No, you are not Knull!"

Ziran suddenly realized.

Although this person's attire, aura, physique, weapon and armor were all identical to Knull, listening closely to his speech, one would realize that he didn't seem anything like Knull.

Most importantly, the shattering of the Abyss was no secret among beings of their level.

With the Abyss shattered, Knull couldn't resurrect and restore his peak power within this short period.
