Sansa's POV
I felt the strong urge that I was being followed as I walked further away from Lucien.
I doubted it was Lucien because he would have pulled me when he had the chance, but what were the odds?
I couldn't tell, and I didn't want to turn fully to look.
I made my way to the right side of the hallway. That was when I took a glimpse and noticed it was Koa. And from the intensity in the way he walked, I knew he was about to unleash chaos on me.
Damn it. Why can't he just leave me alone? I muttered, quickening my pace and quickly dodging into one of the rooms.
I didn't understand his obsession with me. He clearly said I was not his spec, which still stung despite the fact that I didn't give a fuck about him. What I couldn't understand was his persistence with me.
It definitely wasn't the mate bond controlling him, or was it? It would explain why he did what he did earlier, but it was still hard to believe.
Why couldn't he just let me breathe, even in another body?
