Tabitha and I were almost finished glamming each other when someone knocked. "I'll go see who it is," I said as I stopped putting blush on Tabitha's cheeks. I stood up and walked towards the door to open it and it's Jaime. "What's up?" I asked. Jaime didn't even lay his eyes on me but automatically looked for Tabitha. "You can look at her later all you want, Jaime," I whispered, making him look at me. "Oh. Uhm," said Jaime then he cleared his throat, "they're looking for the both of you," continued Jaime then his gaze focused behind me. Yep, of course she'll come closer.
"We're almost done," said Tabitha as I kept on looking at Jaime and raised both my brows but he didn't even see it because his eyes were locked on Tabitha. "Oh. O-okay. I-I'll tell them," said Jaime then he was about to walk away but hesitated then looked back at Tabitha, "You-you look beautiful." complimented Jaime to her. Huh. He's braver than before. "Thank you, Jaime," thanked Tabitha, making Jaime panicked. "I-I meant 'you two'! Ye-yeah! You-you both look beautiful!" Said Jaime. I spoke too soon."Oh." Said Tabitha then Jaime walked away and I closed the door.
I was about to tell her that Jaime only meant her but I guess she already figured it out herself. Tabitha's whole face is red. "Shall we finish?" I asked Tabitha as I walked towards the table where the hair curler is. "Let's hurry up! They must've been waiting for a long time!" Said Tabitha excitedly. I can't help but to smile and began working on curling the last strands of her hair.
As soon as we finished, we left our things as messy as it is. Tabitha and I grabbed both our heels, I also grabbed the keycard of our room. When we walked out of our room and closed the door, both of us ran in the hallway barefoot, giggling while holding both the skirt part of our gowns and our heels. Tabitha and I managed to arrive at the door of the first room of the boys where Yeshua is at and our makeup and curls are still unmoved.
I knocked and Jaime opened the door with a huge smile on his face. You better calm down, big guy."Hurry up, Jaime!" Said John.
"Hey! Don't block the doorway, man!" Simon.
"Let's hurry!" Andrew.
"Does anyone really want to arrive at the wedding on time?" Thomas.
"It's okay, Thomas. The place is closer than you think," Jude.
"But we better keep going or we'll be stuck in traffic," James.
"Aren't you excited, Teacher?" Andrew excitedly. Yeshua chuckled.
"Hey, hey, hey! This isn't the first time you're attending a wedding!" Simon.
Oh, right. Simon's already married. I forgot. While they were going out of the room, Tabitha and I stood on both sides of the door in the hallway like two bodyguards guarding these men and a boy.
Since both Tabitha and I aren't used to wearing heels, we walked around the inn barefoot and these men didn't even notice! A few minutes later, we're now on our way to the place where the wedding will take place. Jude and James said it is an outdoor wedding. On a hill. Well, sunsets are definitely beautiful to see in high places.
We arrived at the place after we passed through the traffic and many people were still arriving. "How many people did your cousin and her soon to be husband have invited?" Asked Matthew as we get out of the parked van and are now walking towards the entrance of the place. "We're not really sure…" answered James as we looked around and saw unfamiliar faces.
"James! Jude! I'm so glad you're able to come!" Greet a woman who's walking towards James and Jude. "Auntie!" Said Jude. "Hello, Auntie!" Greet James. Their auntie hugged both of them at the same time with her eyes closed and they hugged her back. As soon as she opened her eyes, she saw us and let go of her two nephews. "Are they with you two?" Asked the auntie as she looked at each one of us.
James and Jude looked at us with a smile then looked back to their auntie. "Yeah, they're with us. We asked Ruth and she said yes," answered Jude, still with a smile. Their auntie looked at Jude with a smile then nodded then looked at us again. "Welcome! Welcome! Let's go inside and Jude and James will introduce you all to our family and Boaz's family as well." Said their auntie with a smile. "Hello, Naomi," greet Yeshua, making the auntie look behind us and her smile becomes wider than before.
"Yeshua!" Called the auntie as she came closer to Yeshua and Him to her. "James! Jude! Why didn't you tell me that Yeshua is with you!" Said the auntie, whose name is Naomi, to both of them. "We want to surprise you auntie," answered James with a smile. Wait… Ruth… and Boaz? Why did those names seem familiar? "Read the Holy Bible," Holy Spirit! "Read the Holy Bible," I guess I'll look it up on my phone since I still don't have a Bible of my own. As we began to walk towards the entrance to go, I looked those names up.
