They had arrived at the hospital, with Gu Chenyu holding the gift he had bought for Master Nan.
They had reached the room and opened the door but there was no one there.
Except for a neatly tucked in bed and a bright room.
"There's no one here" said Lin Meiyin with a confused look.
A doctor passed by and Lin Meiyin walked towards him.
"Hello, Doctor a patient by the name Nan Qingzhou was here yesterday" said Lin Meiyin.
"Oh yes, he was discharged this morning" the doctor replied nodding his head.
"Oh...okay thank you" said Lin Meiyin hiding her surprised look and she looked at Gu Chenyu who's facial expression was unphased.

Shi Lou stops talking as soon as he met the terrifying gaze of Gu Chenyu who stood tall behind his wife.
"She said she wanted to see him, even if he's asleep unless you're hiding something" Gu Chenyu hinted, with a cold look his voice was so calm yet it made people panic.
"I'm sorry we couldn't possibly do something to harm Master Nan.
Young Master Lu I just didn't want the young Master to be disturbed" said Shi Lou.
"I don't like when my wife is distressed" Gu Chenyu snapped.
"Let's go upstairs" he said in a soft tone and Lin Meiyin looks into his eyes and smiles.
"Thank you" she whispered to him.
"I'll ask for my compensation later" he leaned in and whispered in her ear.
Lin Meiyin's cheeks suddenly turned hot and her cheeks flushed as he led her upstairs.
"And the young lady?" Gu Chenyu asked as he stopped midway.
"She's still locked upstairs in her room" Shi Lou replied.
"Good" Gu Chenyu replied his didn't sound emotional.
They arrived at Grand Master Nan's room and there he was lying down and Lin Meiyin looked at him, she sat down on the and then she held his old wrinkled hand in hers.
"Hello Grandpa Nan" she started.
"I just wanted to check on you, and be at peace, I hope you feel better" she said.
Gu Chenyu in turn leaned against the wall watching Lin Meiyin talk to the sleeping Grandpa Nan.
"I told Chenyu not to withdraw the shares from Nan company, so you wouldn't feel too sad okay, so you should get better soon, I'll come see you again" she said smiling sweetly.
Lin Meiyin stands up and then was about to leave when old Master Nan grabs her hand and whispers something.
"Xinyi" he whispered.
Holding unto her hand.
"X..Xinyi don't go" the old patriach cried.
Lin Meiyin paused and turned around.
As she saw the old man held unto her hand tightly.
"Xinyi I'm sorry, please don't leave me here I beg you" he continued.
She became confused and looked at Gu Chenyu who frowned and stopped leaning lazily against the wall he walked over and looked at the old man who's eyes were tightly shut.

Gu Chenyu frowned at the sleeping old man and then he pried his fingers open and pulled Lin Meiyin's hand away.
"Not my wife" Gu Chenyu muttered and put his hands in his pocket and brought out a packet of wet wipes.
Lin Meiyin watched as he wiped her hands with an annoyed look.
After a while he threw it in the bin and took her outside.
